BEFORE: Cruz set to become the biggest movie star in the world with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean sequel...all that's left is the defeat of Keira Knightley in the ring to seal the deal. During R1: Girls on their toes, using the ring, fencing via darting, pin-point jabs. Cruz punching for Keira's face via spicy right/lefts in combination, working outside and inside of Knightley's long poke. Keira forced backward, but in good order - Cruz following up her advances with tuff left hands "PIK! PIK!" against British waist/ribs as Knightley retreats. No one hurt - Pene the aggressor, briskly at Keira all around the ring.

R2: Keira outjabbing Cruz midring - punching Pene's mouth: Cruz startled, momentarily unable to find Knightley with anything. Minute mark - Keira's left hand secures Pene's right wrist: British girl steps into Spanish chin via short, drifting right hands - Knightley pursing her lips, punching Cruz ropeside with a series of rugged clouts! Pene stunned, but rallying - first clinching Keira around her ribs to stall the assault, then slugging back nimble on the inside. Pene wobbly-butt, but proving combative: Keira rumbling away shoulder to shoulder but getting out-worked by desperate Spanish hup-hup. Cruz denies Keira's finishing run: Knightley eventually forced to leg out/circle the ring as crowd applauds Penelope's gutty apron-stand. Still Keira's round: she's strutting like she knows it after bell.

R3: Penelope uncharacteristically straightforward - double-knocking her jab at Keira's face while stepping forward - Cruz actively looking to engage and trade. Knightley obliging as she backs up - dangling the left hand at her side as she jots straight rights onto oncoming Spanish face. Pene's rapid right/lefts to head out-punch Keira, bouncing her off ropes: leggy Brit able to spin away before Cruz can square up. Keira leading Pene a merry chase - blonde girl lifting either hand off her thigh to run advancing brunette onto poke: Cruz happy to walk through the nuisance shots, raking Keira hooks and crosses in return. Bell: Pene's chest heaving/eyes flashing...she's the very image of tempestuous Spanish vixen-hood, taking it to Keira through 3.

R4: Pene aggressively at Keira again, punching left/right inside and out of the long Knightley left jab. Keira reeling backward, trying to create distance: quick-footed little Spaniard hops-to, hounding her Brit. Knightley perplexed, vexed - face betraying her concern as Pene's dappling her with pesky punches. Midway through, cuffing hooks take Keira on her waistband, slowing her down long enough for Cruz to dive in via SPANKING straight right - fist bouncing off taut meat and sitting Keira in ropes "UHH-H!" Pene stepping-to, teeth bared: weight on left leg, she rakes Keira left hooks to tummy/hip/flank, bending Knightley forward over trembling legs. PENE SCRUBS BACK! Cruz showing no mercy, drub-drubbing her fists side-to-side across the pale narrows of Keira's back - clobbering those kidney's back to the stone-age. Poor Knightley wailing and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Blubbering brit bludgeoned to hands and knees as Pene is bodied back. Keira crying, trembling as she tries to rise...she sits back on her haunches, releasing a flood of tears as she realizes her legs won't respond! KO4 in hardhearted fashion - Penelope Cruz!

After: Cruz squealing with delight, hopping around/clapping her mitts together...it's one of the biggest, timeliest wins she's had on US soil. "Everything is now open to me!" Cruz says in postfight, dark eyes glistening with power-lust. "Weeth my Oscar, and my huge box-office to come, I yam the small, dark, Charlize Theron!"
