BEFORE: "As you all know, I'm a trainer for the CW," Maggie says. "My job is creating future champions like Aly Michalka. I'm not looking to campaign regularly in the ring. But, for some reason, people are trying to crown Grace Park as queen of the Asian fighters, and she hasn't done a thing to earn the title. We all know it's because she's getting a ton of exposure-and, yes, that word has a double meaning-on her new TV show. Well, if I hadn't already been committed to 'Nikita', that role would have gone to a real Hawaiian, not some Canadian wannabe. The fact is, Maggie Q is younger, prettier, has a better body, and is a better fighter than Grace Park. And, after tonight, everyone will know it." Park just shakes her head. "Look, she may want to make this personal or some Asian Supremacy thing, but, for me, it isn't. I'm not in the FCBA to win some mythical title as top Asian. I'm here to win the REAL titles. The ones that come with belts. Maggie's a rung
on the ladder. That's all she is. And, as far as who's prettier, let's take a poll AFTER the fight."

"Welcome back, fight fans, Jenny and Jenny here again, and, J-Mac, as Maggie Q waves to the fans in her black bikini and Grace Park pulls off her robe to reveal a deep blue number, give us your take on this fight!"

McCarthy: "Well, I think it says something about the pointy-hatted weirdo's faith in Park that he's got her in with a trainer who's never fought in the FCBA before. I've never understood all this Grace Park stuff anyway. She's nothing special in the ring, and she's not that hot! I mean, you can't even compare that skinny body of hers to all J-Mac's got goin' on!"

RD. 1

O'Dell: "Grace the aggressor here, right off the bell, moving forward to pressure Maggie. Landing the odd left jab, but Quigley's showing her quickness, dodging and blocking. Maggie using her legs to force Grace to chase. Snapping out a left hand to slow her rival down. Maggie's bobbing her head, bouncing and pivoting, dropping her gloves to her sides as she legs away. Park showing good discipline, though, being patient, not forcing anything. She's landing more than Maggie, but it's all one-punch stuff for both ladies. Neither able to put punches together. And there's the bell. Park's round, I think."

McCarthy: "Yeah, Grace will get the round on the scorecards, but I like what Maggie was able to do there. Lots of quickness. Great defense. Needs to be more active, though."

RD. 2

O'Dell: "Grace moving forward again, and Maggie using that speed to dodge and duck. Maggie making the taller girl give up height by backing away, using the ring well, not getting trapped on the ropes. Park leaning a bit, still not able to score consistently, as Quigley frustrates her with some pretty defensive skills."

McCarthy: "RIGHT HAND MAGGIE! RIGHT HAND MAGGIE!"

O'Dell: "Grace's knees are buckled on a clean counter to the chin. There's a left jab and a clean right hook to the jaw and DOWN GOES PARK! Maggie quickly to a neutral corner. Park up at six. She takes the eight count and fades back to the ropes, still unsteady. Maggie going to work as Grace leans against the ropes in a tight guard. Maggie banging away to the belly, looking to bring down Grace's gloves and land the finisher! Park firing back a bit, but nothing landing. And there's the bell! Huge round Maggie Q!"

McCarthy: "I TOLD you Grace is overrated! She just got totally suckered right there. A good fighter would have seen right through that strategy."

O'Dell: "Apparently Jewel agrees with you, because she's really letting Grace have it in the corner, lecturing her about being sloppy and not showing Maggie enough respect."

RD. 3

O'Dell: "As we start the third, Maggie's moving forward, maybe looking for the kill, but Grace quickly sends her right back on to the defensive! Park landing, throwing punches by the bushel, and Maggie's in full retreat!"

McCarthy: "Q's gotta follow up here! She's gotta take Grace out of there!"

O'Dell: "Grace isn't having any, Mac! She's got Maggie covering up and legging away. Park finding the range consistently for the first time all night and Maggie doesn't have an answer. She's clinching and covering up, trying to answer, but she's being outhit two or three to one here. And there's the bell, and Park stalks back to the corner locking eyes with Jewel, who nods her head. Yes, that was better!"

McCarthy: "Maggie really missed an opportunity there! I'd have finished Grace for sure that round."

RD. 4

O'Dell: "Grace is right back after Maggie, driving her back into the ropes, testing Quigley with a blizzard of punches. Maggie still dodging and blocking a lot of them, but Grace is landing plenty. Maggie firing back some, but the volume coming from Park is keeping her mostly on the defensive. And Maggie's hurt! A nice overhand right sends Quigley stumbling into the ropes with her guard up. Grace banging away at her flanks and belly, slamming punches into her gloves. Maggie clinching, gets a break, but Grace is back after her. Maggie legging away at the bell, but that was another great round for Grace."

McCarthy: "That right was kind of lucky, and I don't think Maggie was as hurt as she let on. I think she's trying to sucker Grace again."

RD. 5

O'Dell: "And Park is right back at it. She's controlling the ring now, forcing Maggie backward, keeping her on the defensive, landing with both hands. This is starting to look alarmingly familiar, Mac, alarming if you're on Team Maggie, anyway, because this is just what Park did to Electra."

McCarthy: "The difference is, Maggie's taller, not giving up as much reach, and she's not shot like Carmen is!"

O'Dell: "Maggie trying to fire back, but she can't sustain anything. Grace's volume is keeping her pinned down, forcing her to back up, and that left hook hurt Maggie! Quigley falls into a clinch, holding on as the referee tries to pull the fighters apart. Grace right back after Maggie off the break. Forcing Quigley back into the ropes. Maggie covering up, clinching, not able to get off. She's still catching a lot of punches on her gloves, but Grace is scoring plenty. And there's the bell. Grace's round easily."

McCarthy: "Maggie's still in this fight, but she's got to pick it up. I have her down two points. Still plenty of fight to go."

RD. 6

O'Dell: "Grace again to the offensive, chasing Maggie, but Quigley again being effective fading backward. She's frustrating Grace defensively like she did in the second, bouncing and bobbing, forcing Park to give up height, getting back to the counter-punching that worked so well earlier. Grace still trying to force the issue, but Maggie's chastizing her to the chin with solid counters. Grace now being backed up, forced onto the defensive. Maggie scoring to the face as Park covers up and mostly unable to find the range as she tries to fire back. Bell to bell Maggie's round. You called it, Mac. She's in this thing!"

McCarthy: "I have it a one-point fight right now, Jenny. This fight could go either way. Gotta be impressed by Maggie Q to this point."

RD. 7

O'Dell: "Maggie all movement now, looking to lure Grace in and counter but Park intent to stalk carefully and use that reach to land at a distance. Not being suckered forward, instead cutting off the ring, scoring solidly until Maggie can slip away. Park smothering, all over the shorter woman...UPPERCUT GRACE! Maggie staggered. Grace caught her ducking a right hook and landed that left uppercut solidly. Maggie unsteady as Grace bangs away to the body, driving her against the ropes. Maggie covering up as Grace goes to town to the ribs and lats. Quigley clinching, trying to counter, but but Park's beating her to the punch. And there's the bell and nobody's happier to hear it than Maggie!"

McCarthy: "That gave Grace a little breathing room, but this is why I say she's not a top-level fighter. She had Maggie hurt but couldn't finish! If J-Mac has you hurt half way through a round, you'll be kissing canvas before it's over!"

RD. 8

O'Dell: "Park hounding Maggie again here. Quigley simply being borne on a tidal wave of punches. She's forced to the defensive, backed up repeatedly as Grace pours forward, getting through her defenses now. Maggie still dangerous, though. Able to counter some here. Active and skilled enough to keep Park from going all out for the KO. But Grace is imposing her will on Quigley now. Bottling her up. And Maggie's hurt again! That left hook to the kidney followed by a right cross to the side of the head hurt the shorter woman. Maggie covering up again, backed to the ropes, and Grace goes to work to the breadbasket, but the bell sounds. Quigley unsteady on her way back to the corner!"

McCarthy: "Grace is taking control, but give Maggie credit. She won't go away. And Park has a glass jaw. One punch could still get Quigley the upset, Jenny!"

RD. 9

O'Dell: "And if it's possible, Grace is ratcheting the pressure up another notch, here. She's blanketing Maggie, not letting her breathe let alone do anything. All Q can do is cover up and try to catch as many punches as she can with her gloves. She's still trying to counter, but the constant pressure and the punishment she's taken are taking their toll. She's slowing down and Grace is landing more and more cleanly. And Maggie's knees buckle! She folds forward into a clinch after a nasty shovel hook under the ribs! Grace slamming hooks into her rival's kidneys as Maggie holds on. Park shoves Quigley away and snaps her head back as she triples up on the jab. Maggie leaning back into the ropes in a tight guard as Grace hammers away at her gloves to the bell. And it's aching Maggie who slowly makes her way back to her corner."

McCarthy: "Another strong round for Grace, but, again, she can't finish. It may not cost her tonight, but if you're in there with a top-level fighter and you don't get her when you get the chance, chances are it won't be your hand getting raised."

RD. 10

O'Dell: "Final round now and Maggie's going to need to stop Grace to win this thing, it says here. Park just needs to stay on her feet, but she's not backing off one bit. She's still all over Maggie, snapping her head back with jabs that are splitting her gloves, working the body when Quigley tries to get in close and just generally making life miserable for her. Maggie is busting up, she's got a cut over the left eye, but she's still firing back! Countering in spots here. Showing tons of guts. And she's rocked again! Right cross from Grace! Maggie caught a little of it on her left glove or it would have been over. But as it is she's wobbling to her right, now reeling backward as Grace finds the range with a three-punch combo. Maggie fires back, but Grace walks through the counter and snaps her head back with a right-left to the face and there's the bell. Nice show of respect there as the two fighters hug one another. Not going to be any doubt about
this one. I've got it eight rounds to two. UD10 for Grace Park, but I think Maggie earned her respect tonight."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring to Jenny McCarthy with the winner, Grace Park!"

McCarthy: "Grace, was Maggie a tougher out than you thought she'd be?"

Grace: "Not really. I knew she was quick and dangerous coming in. I didn't have any doubt I'd beat her, but I knew she wasn't a walkover. What I didn't know was just how gutty she is. I mean, I hurt her five or six times, and she just wouldn't go away."

McCarthy: "Well, some fighters just aren't good finishers, Grace. There's no shame in that..."

Grace: "Really? Because I seem to recall finishing YOUR bleached blonde ass, McCarthy!"

McCarthy: "You little...I'll slap the taste out of your..."

Grace: "Let's go right now, bimbo!"

O'Dell: "Oh, shi..."
