Carey: Gold bikini
Prepon: Tan/brown plaid retro bikini (Hurley Swimwear)
Mariah Carey had already made a statement by entering the tournament under the same strict conditions accepted by all other entrants. “She’s been a dream to work with,” Zeta-Jones said in response to preflight questions concerning the most difficult Diva in the event. “Mariah knows she’s priced herself out of fights inside the ring that understands the economics of the sport better now. If she wants to have the same sort of clout inside the ring that she does out of it--she knows she’s got to deliver some results, and that means playing ball with promoters and event staff.”
It didn't take long to see how serious Carey had become about her in-ring performance, attacking Laura with a stuff step-in jab followed by a mouth-busting right hand which had the younger beauty backing up wide-eyed in the first. Mariah was relentless, showed a terrific killer instinct in putting the hook on top of her chocolate right hand stroke and poor Laura seemed out gunned in every minute she stayed awake, in the final moments of the third, Carey stepped and fetched a retreating Prepon a wide left hook and a hellacious right cross to lay Laura out cold on her back.
The fight was marred as the starfished, unconscious Prepon was subjected to a vulpine cross body pin by the always opportunistic and publicity-starved Stacy Keibler, who slid under the bottom rope and stretched her girl out before officials could stop her. A bewildered Carey had a good-natured chuckle at the sight as Keibler tossed her blonde mane, clamping her legs around Prepon’s outstretched right arm while gripping Prepon’s left wrist in both hands until ringside security could pry predatory Keibler loose.
