BOXING AFTER DARK

Before: Menounos basking in buzz from her plucky showing against Jessica Alba on the set of FF--WB starlet eager to keep the ball rolling gets in with with a tough cookie in Scott.

“For me, it’s a step back in class,” Menounos chirps in preflight. “Ashley’s not as talented as Jessica in the ring, so I’ll have a chance to swing away more and maybe get her out of there. I hate to say it, but starlets get old in Hollywood fast: Scott’s washed up and I’m soaring past her. She’s the perfect contest for me at this time.”

Ashley blushing at the notion her moment may have passed in Tinseltown: Maria’s words burn hot, coming as they do from a sexy newcomer. “I don’t know what the hell she’s talking about,” snarls Scott in response. “All I know is by the time I’m done, I’ll have an Oscar on my mantle, a couple of Golden Globes in my drawer, a trophy room filled with title belts and nobody’s going to remember the time I knocked that cheap little tramp Menounos out!”

Ashley in hot pink push up and panties--Maria in lavender bikini, frilly edges. White gloves both vixens.

During R1: Scott scowling, using her legs--she’s hopping the perimeter, shaking her head “No” every time Menounos paws at her in passing, Maria giving chase, proving the aggressor--Menounos unable to land flush, but she’s making the fight, trying to hound Ashley to the ropes, Scott too nimble, loping clockwise, then changing direction--dropping her mitts to shimmy her shoulders and fake Maria out--feinting, slipping an pivoting, Ash just taking a look-see, testing Menounos’ reactions and tendencies--Maria giving a good honest effort takes points by default.

R2: Veteran’s seen enough--Ashley brings it hard this round., Jabs to Maria’s mouth and hard, hard hooks to the body early--Scott licking two and three smokers amidships, showing lanky whip in that left arm, then sidestepping brisk. Menounos game, trudging through it, but slowing up considerably: ingénue not cutting off the ring, following Scott and running into trouble. Ashley with sinuous, oily-smooth power punching action--leaning in close, hauling her punches into Maria with wide trajectories--Menounos not seeing the supple licks until they’ve already pounded her jaw. Scott bending at the waist as she tosses, foiling hasty Menounos receipts--M<aria on her heels, swatting awkwardly and really getting clocked. Midway through, Scotty swipes an almost hyper-extended long left hook across Maria’s mouth, comes back a slicing right on the chin and DROPS MARIA TO HER BACK! Menounos astonished, numb, tingly--she makes a gallant attempt to roll onto her right side but it’s NO GO! KO2 I chilling fashion, Ashley Scott.

After: Scott prowling, frowning in the aftermath, still humming with aggression after a sensational punching second. Eerily efficient--Scotty just sizing Maria up in the first, outclassing brunette below the waist, then sailing in with a dazzling array of lanky-limbed bombs to leave Menounos shipwrecked on the canvas. “Who’s washed up now?” Scott cracks on camera as her gloves are removed--Menounos getting smelling salts and a penlight exam on her stool.
