Samaire bounced back strong after a setback to Kelly Monaco, and in the wake of Monaco’s demolition of Doherty, one has to think that Armstrong has the goods at 110.

Chabert naturally wanted to slug it up buxom with her svelte foe--but Samaire would have none of it. Prowling with pantherish, flat-footed steps--Armstrong punched with authority, pivoted from receipts and made Lacey look an amateur as blonde tortured brunette with classy hit-and-run. Combination punching to Chabert’s available chin had Lacey on her heels in shock: Armstrong proved able to move her stronger foe with punches in bunches, doing the work of one Chabert haymaker with several quick strikes in succession.

In the third, a tremendous flurry to the breasts and belly had Chabert in a bad way, and as she stumbled forward off the ropes, Samaire chewed her up with succulent, carving uppercuts off the backpedal, Clipped and clouted, Chabert stumbled to all fours, visibly dazed and disoriented. She would rise at 10, but the ref waved the fight off after getting a good look at Lacey’s woebegone eyes.

Chabert exposed? Possibly--she didn’t look good against an opponent who refused to line up and go right at her. Armstrong redeemed? Definitely--stopping Lacey puts the blonde right back where she was pre-Monaco.
