Before: "Even though Diaz is a much higher calibre boxer than Moynahan, they ARE similar types, so people will be comparing what me and Laura do in our respective bouts," Mary says in prefight. "It sucks: as usual, Laura has the easier road, but if I don't beat Cameron, there's going to be pressure in the rankings to swap me and Laura, and I can't have that. I've got to buckle down and get Cameron beat - that's all there is to it. That's the best way I know how to keep Laura in her place." Diaz smirking throughout: looks like MEW's a little pre-occupied. "The day Mary beats me is the day I hang 'em up for good," Cameron scoffs. "I am the best - THE BEST - combination of on-screen celebrity and in-ring boxing ability in the sport, period. During R1,2: Cameron's legs on display - she's got that rhythmic bouncing action in her knees that Ali had - now on her front (left) leg, now on her right leg, leaning in and out as she dances about. Mary dukes up/elbows in/fighter's crouch - no secret Winstead wants to rough Cameron up, but it's easier said than done: Winnie tapped and pre-empted as Cam bounces pesky backhand jabs off brunette pate; slashes in the odd lead slap-chop right; cuffs that wide open-palm hook while pivoting 'round Winnie's right flank. Mary slugging air - Cameron's legs and supple torso making her almost impossible to hit as she touches Winnie up for points through 2.

R3: Cameron settling down - bouncing on her lead (left) leg more so she can cuff double hooks/drop in slap-chop rights/lash bolo left uppercuts...blonde girl trying to bust Mary up. Winstead bobbing on the spot in crossed arm - she's moving her head well - slugging back in spots to the Diaz ribcage. Down the stretch, Cameron tries a limber right uppercut; eats a pulverizing overhand right on her jaw...blonde back (right) leg gives way! Diaz' right foot skids forward - she tries to place it properly behind her, but it's got a mind of it's own - toeing canvas in the wrong spots, destabilizing Diaz, spilling her sideways to ropes! Mary pouncing forward in crossed-arm crouch - she weaves close - rips the right to Cameron's ribcage; rips the left: Diaz slumping in cables, showing earmuff, stooping forward as Winstead has a good long look. Brunette pushin' and a-punchin', cleaning up Cameron's fat-free ribs and waist via hamhanded lefts and rights. Cameron pulverized in behind either elbow/worked hard in her belly as Mary romps to her first points.

R4: Diaz running, buying time with her sinewy legs...blonde girl in that rhythmic bounce, feinting Mary, circling, retreating...all while flicking the jab, threatening the slap-chop right and cuffing the odd open-palm hook. Winstead bulling forward - she's landing the odd swinging blow in Cam's ribs/missing Cam's head utterly...brunette needs to apply punches in bunches, but can't get Cam to stand still. Judges score it a draw, though Diaz able to recover nicely from a rough-house third.

R5: Similar stuff - Daiz dancing too much to really hurt Mary (but touching her pesky); Winstead crouching forward, looking to swarm, but relegated to single-shots only. Another drawn round seems inevitable, when Mary storms forward late - brushing Cammie' back a looping over hand right, then torquing into a hook-from-the-hip that catches blonde girl leaning away. Big head swivel Cammie D...right leg scoots forward, nearly sitting her down...athletic blonde able to reel into ropes instead, but she's stricken! Cam stooped forward in earmuff, butt-in-ropes: Mary able to wade in, thump the waist left/right, then scour away scraping left uppercuts against Cameron's guard. Blonde girl lays back on ropes in max face-protect; rolls her torso when Mary gets back to the body - Winstead finally getting the landscape she needs to succeed. Bell: Mary pushes up off Cam brazen: Diaz scowling at the insolence.

R6,7: Cameron shows her fabulous conditioning - a lot of boxers would be flat footed after the body-beating Mary's been dishing...not Cammie D. Diaz showing the Ali bounce on her lead left leg - springing at/sliding around her foe - touching/tapping/slapping and chopping at bobbing Winstead. Mary unhurt for the most part, but scuffing up...she just can't get good punching-solutions on her lithe foe. Cam keeping up a steady patter throughout: "Too slow, Mare!" "You ever see anything beautiful as me in the ring, baby? Hey? I'M TOO SLEEK MARY! TOO SLEEK!" and so on.

R8: Cam settles down - still nice and loose with weight on that left leg, but she's getting off with vicious leverage now, standing her ground to get Mary hurt. Winstead put to the test: she's taking that rising, cuffing hook HARD upside the jaw; face taking the slap-chop right - Cam biting her lower lip when she's hacking that baby in; withering left uppercuts chipping at Mary's chin as she's crouching forward. Winstead spellbound...blonde girl's fists are a whirling, bewildering pattern, and when Mary wants to slug back...Cameron's eased herself out of range, her head shaking "No no no" at discouraged Mary. Down the stretch, Winstead's face puffy, her buttocks wobbling uncontrollably...Winstead stepping in fence-post holes as Diaz dresses her up, bringing the crowd to it's feet with a savage paste-jab at bell. Mary swaying on the spot, cut in her mouth, eyes blinking out of sync...Diaz slides past with a cruel smirk as she looks over her battered brunette.

R9: Mary shows HER heart and conditioning, coming back from a withering beatdown to compete hard in the ninth. Midway through - Mary spooks Cam via whistling overhand right, then catches her that lunging hook to jaw: Diaz scampering back, eyes alarmed. Cameron bouncing out of range, circling the perimeter: blonde girl obviously surprised at the fight left in Mary...Diaz forfeits the points rather than press the issue right now.

R10: Cameron closes the show: weight on left leg (bouncy); flicking, backhand little jabs setting up nasty slap-chop little rights; rising, limber-limbed/open-palm hooks cuffing Mary's jaw (ref FINALLY warning cam for hitting with the heel of her hand!); slick little pivots-left to turn Mary's right flank. Winstead badly busted up now - still bobbing in weary crossed-arm, but clever blonde hands tracking her head movement, touching her at will. MEW never stops competing - even scoring the odd roundhouse right to Cameron's ribcage, but blonde legs reign supreme. Final seconds, Cameron's dancing out of range, holding hands over her head as Mary tries grimly to walk her down for one last miracle. Comes back UD10 Cam Diaz.

After: Typical masterful Cam Diaz boxing performance - Winstead having her moments, but unable to reduce her fabulously conditioned foe enough to get her to stop moving. "I'm the greatest," Cameron says simply, shrugging her shoulders as if it's obvious. "I toyed with Mary Elizabeth tonight - even showed her my chin when I was bored, then took it away when it was time to hurt her. I can't be outboxed, I can't be bullied - there's literally nothing another woman can do against me when I'm feeling good and showcasing. Mary did alright - about as good as anyone can do against the sleekness that is Cameron Diaz!"
