Before: "I'm puttin' the SOB in SOBIESKI!" Jenna cracks wise at podium, leering/mugging for laughs. "I guarantee tears, boys - baby's not going to know what hit her. I'm one of the hardest women in boxing - period: LeeLee's looking mighty soft in comparison. Leelee..." On and on in that vein: Jenna strong/Leelee weak. Sobieski begs to differ. "It's time to cut this loudmouth down to size," Sobieski mutters in rebuttal. "Boxing already has one big-mouth, braggart-blonde - I'm looking at you Jenny Mac - the LAST thing we need is an even dumber, louder version!" Leelee in black bikini; black gloves; hair soft/long/straight. Jenny in yellow cami-strap sport top; black sport bikini bottoms; black gloves; hair tangly/loose.

During R1,2,3: Sloppy, rangy stuff. Fighters extending long limbs to grip opposing shoulders/biceps...both girls issuing clout from the clinch - cuffing jawlines/ribs out of the grasp. Ref issuing breaks...fighters falling in - neither girl really executing as trained. Jenna scoring some decent approach-jabs; placing a few rangy right crosses up top. Leelee sweeping some loud right roundhouses in on Jenna's ribs, and at least one clubbing hook up top...but it's all pretty inconclusive through 3.

R4: Leelee works hard to avoid the lock-up. As girls fall-in, she keeps elbows in close/bobs low - causing Jenna to wrap up around head and shoulders...Leelee straightens out of the crouch, arms pumping punches into Jenna's trim paunch. Ref's breaks ensue, but Leelee's getting a lot more work done - walking forward with Jenna tying up Sobieski's head, unable to impede the bodywork. Latter half the round sees Jenna try to disengage and leg away: Leelee's finding her way wide, forget-me-not hooks, pouncing opportunistically when Jenna staggers off-balance. Round finishes up ropeside: Jenna erect, laying back on cables, trying to ward off clubbing punches to her head as Leelee tucks away the points.

R5: Jenna trying to solve Leelee...Elfman hanging back, jabbing, trying to nail Leelee stiff right hands when Sobieski ducks into crouch. Near-misses for Leelee early, then she gets the hang of it - using her legs to rotate wide-right...she's causing Jenna to reach and lean in. Down the stretch - Elfman stalking/pursuing - Leelee loping to her right at the extreme limit of Jenna's reach...Jenna reaching for contact when Leelee times her, steps in close with a chopping, short overhand right to chin! Pre-emptive blast nails Jenna as her own right's just clearing her shoulder...Elfman's back (right) leg slides well forward as she sloshes through on her right hand...butt well back, left leg buckling under dazed weight. Leelee emerging outside/behind Jenna's right shoulder as ragdoll Elfman gets turned around...Jenna sitting down, then rolling onto her back as grinning Sobieski struts past. Elfman a pathetic sight trying to rally rebellious long limbs...she's still trying to flop and roll up off her back when the ten count passes her by. KO5 in cracking fashion Leelee Sobieski.

After: Sobieski glowing...blonde girl very pretty with a newly minted KO under her belt. "Jenna's rangy-strong," Leelee explains in postfight, "but not core-strong: I knew if I got compact and punched short, I'd clap her out of there. This is great...Mandy's really sputtering, Righetti's damaged goods, Regan's dumb like sand...looks more and more like welterweight's my own private hunting ground, doesn't it?"
