BBU INTERNATIONAL FIGHT: Liverpool, U.K.

Next up is a welterweight fight between 25 year old former BBU Champion Michelle Ryan and 36 year old former FCBA Champion Natasha Henstridge. This is a huge step up in class for Michelle, but she is talking a good fight, “I’ll show that old woman what a puncher I am! She won’t have been hit as hard as I hit and stayed upright!” For her part the tall Canadian almost laughs her off, “Why am I even here? This useless b###h is gonna lose so quick she won’t even know the fight’s started!

Natasha seems to tower over Michelle when they meet in the centre of the ring, the tall Canadian in a silver bar and pants set, with Ryan less eyecatching in blue.

Round 1

Natasha’s height and reach advantage is soon obvious as she starts landing punches in Michelle’s face, the brunette’s head being jolted backwards with every blow, and her mouth is soon bleeding as the big blonde bangs her accurate punches between her defensive gloves. Michelle has a hard punch for sure – but Henstridge is not about to let her land it, and she rips a semi-uppercut into Ryan’s belly which has the younger girl gasping, then she lets her have another, just for fun, and the Brit is down, gulping for air before getting to her feet at 8. Tash looks like she can finish this right here if she wants to, and she hurts Michelle to the body again, then, pinning her to the ropes, she unloads a barrage of punches into her face, almost, but not quite, dropping her before the bell.

Natasha’s round – one-sided.

Round 2

Poor Michelle’s face is already bruised and bleeding, and Tash goes to work on her again straight away, using that extra reach to pick the younger girl off as she tries to attack, absorbing the brave Brit’s attempted assault on her body, then whipping a left hook across her jaw, sending her staggering backwards to the ropes. Tash is measuring her punches, looking for gaps in Michelle’s defence, then drilling a punch through it, hurting her with every blow, then she speeds up, battering lefts and rights one after another at the brunette’s head, some landing, some being blocked, but those elbows are getting untucked – poor Michelle – the big Canadian simply hammers the girl’s midriff, and she just folds to the canvas, just beating the count, but very wobbly. Almost a minute left in this round, and Natasha goes for the finish – thunderous left to Michelle’s mouth stuns her, a cruel right to the belly bends her over, and the big blonde finished the job off with a huge left uppercut to Ryan’s mouth which leaves her facedown, bleeding and senseless.

After the fight, Natasha is feeling frustrated, “All this way – just for that! I wanna fight again before I go home – you Brit’s got anybody who wants to mix it with me, huh?” Maybe no Brits, but BBUAmerica’s Gabrielle Union looks real keen.
