Before: Nolin continues her psychological assault on Charlize Theron by fighting ex-Theron slayers of the past. Carey with a sensational KO victory over Theron last year poses a similar risk to the hittable Gena Lee, but Nolin brashly confident of victory in pre-fight. Carey in red adidas terrycloth trunks, black sports vra, Nolin in black high neck sports bra, yellow bikini bottoms.

During r1: Nolin reaching with the left, coming over the top with looping right hands early, but midway through the round, Carey wins an exchange of rights to send Gena Lee staggering backwards. Mariah on the attack, takes a thumb in the eye, and the fight dissolves into a Greek tragedy. Girls clinching, kneeing one another’s thighs--it’s a mess.

R2: Carey repays the thumb and savages Nolin’s eyes with lacing in repeated clinches, Nolin comes back with low blows and butts her  tanned shoulder into the singer’s mouth during clinches, and Carey down the stretch, pulls Nolin off balance and slugs her breasts with holding and hitting to the bell. Too bad you can’t score illegal blows--round goes as a draw.

R3: Carey with some good, honest haymakers, has Nolin backed to a corner and sweeping right hands on the cheek have Gena Lee near panic. Nolin solves the dilemma with a looping right uppercut, catching Carey in the solar plexus with a well-disguised elbow. Girls clinch, Carey shoving Nolin to her knees out of a front choke at the bell.

R4: Referee stops the action as the girls tackle one another to the canvas, and after a lengthy delay, semblance of boxing resumes. Nolin stepping into a lunging right hand to the pudgy tummy of Carey--Mariah coming back with a rising left hook to the chin for another round.

R5: Early clinching and clashing heads gives way to a surprising jab from Nolin as she steers Mariah midway through the round. In the final minute, Mariah wanders into some serious right bands off her temple that send her careening into the ropes. Nolin smiling, swinging her fists wide to the flanks of the brunette as Carey swoons at the bell.

R6: Gena with that confident look, reaching with the left to touch the brunette’s chest before BRINGING that overhand right. Carey taking punches off her shiny face, goes wobbly butt, drops her hands to her waist as Nolin treats her shabby. Gena Lee slugging with authority, lanky limbs whipping wider shots to singer’s slack jaw, and Carey lolls helpless on the ropes. Mariah clinching, bleeding from the nose and sleepy-eyed, is ROCKED back by Nolin’s right uppercut at the bell. Gena with a flagrant late right hand to the pit if Mariah’s stomach--garners severe tongue lashing from the ref.

R7: Carey drowsy, exhausted look, gets off her stools and Gena is on her. Nolin shoving Carey into her corner, sets up in the wide stance and POURS in right hand after right hand. Battering Mariah’s head repeatedly in one side. CAREY GOES DOWN! Mariah slipping to her knees, and an extra left hook puts her on her butt as Nolin bounces away. Carey taking 8, standing, then collapsing back into the corner as Gena wades in. Round becomes a brutal cudgeling as Gena walks in, holds Mariah and lands whipping right hands to the face--Carey exhaustedly pushing Gena back--Gena wading back in to resume the carnage. Rounds ends with Carey taking spanking blows off her face as Nolin continues after the bell.

R8: Gena Lee showing tremendous fitness, putting out a phenomenal number of power punches this late in the fight. Carey a battered wreck, hands at her chest, taking punches and meandering away from Nolin on wobbly legs. Gena Lee slugging with gusto, no longer afraid of any receipt and she stalks the hurting brunette around the ring at leisure. Round ends with Mariah slumping sideways to the ropes, one hand on the top rope as Gena pounds away--a wide left to the breast, a wide right to the kidneys, leaving Carey sobbing at the bell. Mariah Carey quits on her stool. Unable to come out for the ninth, and Gena Lee Nolin accepts the raucous applause of the crowd.

After: Stunning performance after a choppy start--Nolin setting a punch stat record for most power shots landed in a 4 round stretch. Pounding out shutout round after shutout round. Gena lee Nolin records one of her most savage victories, beating Mariah unrecognizable and sending a clear message that she is still a force in the division. Carey haunted by the loss, refuses to comment on the experience.
