Before: Luner rhe forgotten woman in all the recent jockeying for corporate dollars and lucrative PPB deals. Once the undisputed pound-for-pound queen of the celebrity fight game--Luner’s inactivity and shoddy promotion have left her seeking basic cable gigs in an attempt to stay current. Margolis a wiry, sturdy enough opponent, but clearly a “keeping busy” outting for Luner. White string bikini for Jamie, teal beach volleyball style 2-piece for Cindy.

During R1-3: Margolis trying to box with Luner, and making Luner look plenty good in comparison. Jamie with that Roy Jones stance, hands high and out front, stepping back as Margolis pushes predictable one-twos, and cracking the blonde coming in with shifty left hooks, chopping right hands. Margolis busted up in the second and pummeled mercilessly in her corner in the third--feels the full force of Luner’s blinding hand speed and punishing combination punching.

R4: Margolis continues to come forward, and gutsy persistence pays off as she spanks at Luner’s flanks with wide lefts and rights, causing the redhead to bring her arms in and huddle up in a defensive crouch, Luner countering with catspaw left hooks in the final minute--coughs up her first round.

R5: Luner decides to lead, slashing in on Cindy with unstoppable lead rights, look-away left hooks as she embarrasses the rigid blonde with hand speed for most of the round. In the final minute however, cocky Luner pays for the showboating as Margolis loads up a slinging right hand to the jaw, drawing OOHS from the crowd as Luner soaks it up, Judges like the gaudy head shot and Cindy steals a Luner round.

R6: Cindy continuing to stand, plant and sling right hands, once again catches Luner a right hand on the jaw, but Jamie is unmoved. Luner punching with Cindy soon chops the blonde into submission with slashing countershots from either fist, and in the final minute, Jamie has Cindy cringing from ripping left hooks to the blonde’s rib cage. Luner sneering at the bell as Margolis lies breathless against the ropes.

R7: Luner back in counter punching mode--hands high, just snapping off quick hooks or dropping the right hand from the elbow onto Margolis’ face whenever the blonde seeks to step forward. Cindy outboxed, afraid to risk an all-out assault.

R8: Jamie leading once again, stepping left, showing the dazzling backfist jab to Margolis left eye. Cindy following the text book, counters the jab with a stinging right hand that bangs back Luner’s head, and Jamie is HURT! Margolis swarming effectively, going to Jamie’s flanks with wide swinging blows, backing the redhead to the ropes. Jamie one of the best with her back to the apron, bends at the waist, lips then incoming and begins sniping at Margolis chin with quick blows into and out of the crouch. Seconds left in the round, Luner lights Cindy up with a beautifully timed left cross. Bell sounds as Margolis reels backwards several steps with a glassy look in her eye.

R9: Luner spending a lot of time on the ropes, slipping side to side, bobbing up and down--but Margolis is throwing all the punches. Cindy missing plenty, but great fitness lets her pour it on, and Luner just doesn’t get off.

R10: Luner continuing to coast, fighting like she has in the bag. Jamie backpedaling, patting the left at Cindy as Margolis rushes forward, then slipping in under the blonde’s arms to dance back the other way. Crowd boos Jamie uses her peerless legs to ruin the clock, and Margolis never really catches up. Decision: Unanimous Jamie Luner.

After: Decision typical of Jamie’s problem--she wins fights first, looks good second--hardly the recipe for an HBO house fighter. Margolis outclassed, but still slugging in the final two rounds Luner calls out Gershon, Theron--all the big names at 120 pounds over. “I’Ve beaten them all before,” says Jamie, “and I’ll do it again.”
