3 ROUND BEACH WORK0UT

Before: Impromptu hard-sparring session - both girls vacationing in Cancun and eager to get a few rounds in. Burke a long-time sparring partner for Britney and other music types - often traveling-with celebrities to beach locations, so she's well used to the conditions. Elisha happy to oblige the professional dancer on sand - thinking being that Cheryl will be reduced to a slugger by the surface.

ring posts set up directly on sand...a number of other sparring sessions between non-celebrities going on at the same time, in addition to beach volleyball and other outdoor activities. Small crowd - mostly friends and fight-paparrazzi.

During R1: Cheryl engaging Cuthbert midring - both girls tossing hard, but Burke landing all the right hands to Elisha's head, destabilizing her. Burke able to shoot-in, wrap up blonde ribs, walk Elisha to ropes: dancer in full control as she shoves blonde girl into position for systematic beatdown. Cuthbert in tight earmuff, getting worked over. Cheryl patient, methodical - working in close as she digs repeat right hands into thickness of blonde waist, or in snug behind the elbow, then dips left to work left hands in. Nothing fancy - Cheryl just pounding beef, making a scooping action with her punches like she's trying to hollow Cuthbert out. Elisha sturdy, sitting in ropes and sponging it up - preferring to cover up than clinch.

R2: Same again - some early power-punching exchanges that threaten both women, but disorganize Cuthbert more: once her form breaks, Cheryl scoots in, wraps up, bodies blonde girl to ropes. Cheryl SO strong and wriggly on the inside - she's reaching under Elisha's guard, smearing blonde girl along ropes, constantly wrestling her off-balance. Burke with dig at Elisha while bodying up on her, but she'll also separate a little to work-it methodical, punishing Elisha's waist/flanks/hips with either hand. Bell: Cheryl pushing off Elisha on ropes: Cuthbert flushed, looking disheveled and ass-kicked through 2.

R3: Same again - Cuthbert just out-of-sorts, not getting off the way she would on canvas: Burke landing hard, swinging rights and lefts to head, then bodying Cuthbert to ropes for systematic, in-close abuse. Cheryl scooping either fist against Elisha's sturdy body: brunette fighting with a breezy grin, pushin' and a-punchin' on her blonde. Cuthbert trying to squirm out from under, but Cheryl quick to wrestle her back down...Burke just implacable when on top. Cheryl with a pretty way of riding one hand up at Elisha's ear/shoulder while pounding the midsection with the free mitt: Cuthbert sullen in the ropes, taking it all tuff and well, but suffering a pretty one-sided working over here. Bell: girls hug, touch gloves...unmistakable smug gleam in Cheryl's eye as she knows she did pretty damn well here.

After: Cuthbert worked over, but known to have been drinking beforehand, and not really fighting her sharpest: no telling what would have happened in a real beach dime. Still - Cheryl reminds us why fighting dancers is always problematic - curvy little brunette puts it on a well respected blonde here in exhibition style. (NOTE: Don't record as a loss for Cuthbert - these were dice-driven rounds - Cheryl did really well - but it's a sparring session, not a sanctioned bout.)

Girls will meet up later in a Pros-vs-Joes style goal-line stand type game: Cheryl on defence - Elisha taking the snap and selecting a hole between pylons, trying to drive into the beach endzone. Burke stacking her blonde up pretty well - tackling 'Lishy up from the side and driving her into sand with curvy authority, again and again.
