BEFORE: "I'm pumped to be fighting Leighton!" Accola chirps in prefight, shining like a brand new penny. "It's about getting her beat, but it's also about taking her opponent-set away...the Meester-creature's a great way for me to springboard onto Minka, or Elisha, or any of the bigger name girls in our class. It's so exciting just to be 'positioned' - I can't wait to get after her!" Meester FUMING: GG starlet absolutely refusing to acknowledge Candi's newfound status. "I'm not letting her off the Vampire Diaries reservation," Meester vows in prefight. "She wants to fight the other vamp-tramps, that's one thing - that's fine: launching off me to go wide in the FCBA? That's not going to happen. I'm going to make her and her backers sorry they ever brought up my name. Candi's getting hurt in this one!" Accola in dark blue sport bra (actual bra strap style) shot through with plaid-lines of baby blues and whites; matching swimsuit bottoms in similar print; blonde hair up, ringlets framing face; small powder blue mitts.

ASIDE: Minka Kelly confirms with FIGHTING INGENUE: "If Candi beats Leighton? After trouncing Lyndsy and Nina? I'd fight her in a heartbeat. I'll be watching, 'cause she's prettier than Leighton, and if she's a better fighter, then she's definitely someone I need to test against."

During R1: Leighton aggressively in off her jab - hooking Candi tight to breadbasket in close; flurrying briskly to jugs to startle Accola out of her stance. Candice backpedaling - pushing out arm-punches: Meester able to lean in, clean up strong. Second minute - Meester tags Candice a chipping right cross on chin, buckling Candi's knees...Acola rattled, routed early. Candi rallies behind her jab jab late - baring her little teeth as she scuffs away at Meester's hairline to finally relieve some pressure.

R2: Two way fighting - Candi more organized, bracing herself in wide stance, working off the jab to set up right hands. Leighton in similar stance - changing levels to work her jab into Candi's body as well as head, trying to time her right just before Candi's. Good stuff - fit young ladies touching each other stiff outside - taking nice crisp sidesteps-left. Meester breaks the deadlock late with sweeping right/left across Candi's waistline - getting a weak jab back from wincing Accola: Leighton able to hook hard inside Candi's jab, catching blonde mouth and putting Accola wobbly butt at bell.

R3: Leighton really baring down here - forward aspect always - eyes aggressive - hard right hands ticketed for Candi's head and a meanspirited jab keeping Accola off balance. Candi looking rushed, uncertain...she can't get her feet set - always scampering away to regroup, only to find Leighton at her doorstep. Latter half the round, Meester getting grabby with her left hand - small glove allowing her to tug at Accola's bra or grip at her right bicep while chopping in harsh right hands. Candi punched to ropes - her head turned to the right - left hand up to ward off punches as she's giving it up pretty easy at the bell. Leighton won't let go - shaking Candi by her right shoulder while continuing to punch rights at her head - ref pulls seething Meester off and reads her the riot act.

Break: bleeding nose for Accola handled quickly by her corner - but she's looking frightened, bullied by Leighton through 3.

R4: Meester hard eyed, swiftly across the ring and leaning into power-punches: she's got no fear or respect for Accola! Candice swept out of her stance - bounced off ropes: she's breaking down psychologically, not holding her ground. Leighton gambling to keep the pressure on - she's coming in wide open: more poise on Accola's part and she could be countering here. As it is: Leighton routs Candice in the fourth, gapping way wide on all cards.

R5: Candice punching, competing...and getting hammered! Accola lifting rising rights and lefts into Meester's ribcage, trying to body-punch for respect, but Leighton's pushing past and slugging hard. Candi's head repeatedly jolted by Meester right hands...blonde girl stumbling, desperately trying to hold ground and return serve. Leighton reaching her left hand to the bicep/shoulder on Candi, bracing her for drifting rights across the face that are shaking Accola up. Leighton really pushing and punching Candice around: Accola just can't get herself set to fight her fight. Weak jabs cost Accola late: Leighton able to slip inside and hook-receipt to Candice' teeth, dropping blonde girl to her buns at the bell. Break: Accola's eyes wide, spooked - she's looking thoroughly ass-kicked through 5.

R6: Candi trying to rally, but she's not leaning in with her weight: Leighton's not respecting the power. Meester POURING herself at Candice - hooking her tummy; driving righty to the chin...blonde girl quickly forced to ropes and battling for her life! Minute mark - Candice hurt, trying to fire back...she lifts a weak right into Leighton's ribs in exchange for a crashing Meester overhand right to chin! Candi's right knee buckles - pitching her right side into ropes, eyes glassy. Wide Meester hook takes Candi in the face: Accola relaxes on receipt, going out on her feet. Candi still upright to take another right on her left ear, then one atop her head as she's pitching forward...blonde girl noses in parallel at ropes, fast asleep at Leighton's feet! KO6 in HEARTBREAKING fashion - Leighton Meester!

After: Minka Kelly tweets: "Wow." Nina Dobrev tweets: "Candi just got blown away. I don't know how to feel." Huge return-to-form for Leighton who seemed to have been stalling prior to this contest. "I stepped up and gave Candice a dose of what Sarah Carter once gave me," Leighton says in postfight, eyes hard with Candi-hate. "I separated myself from that whole class of girls - I mean, they're ingenues - I'm more of a super-ingenue, if you know what I mean." Accola badly shaken, sniveling when she comes around: Leighton hardhearted, very rough when she tugs Candi out of her corner for a piling-on walk of shame. Meester really putting her foot down tonight, slamming the door in Accola's face with authority.
