ANARCHY AT THE ASYLUM

(Asylum Arena. Phiadelphia, Pennsylvania)

BEFORE:

"I'm not taking Ellen lightly, not at all," the favored Jamie Lynn says, shaking her head. "I saw what she did to Selena Gomez. She's not a joke. She can fight. I'm going to beat her, but I don't expect it to be easy."

"She thinks she's going to bully me around the ring," Ellen says, eyes flashing. "Well, that's what Gomez thought and you saw what I did to HER. I heard what they all said when Stewart stopped me. 'She's a joke. She's too small. She should never get another FCBA fight.' Well, I DID and I proved them all wrong. I'm quick and athletic and, more importantly, tough. I'm tougher than Jamie Lynn, and she's going to realize that before this night is over."

ROUND ONE:

"Jenny O'Dell back at ringside with Jenny McCarthy for the Tiny Titan Ellen Page against Front Street's 'Princess' Jamie Lynn Spears and there's the bell. We're underway. Spears quickly in on Page, working a jab and...DOWN GOES ELLEN!"

McCarthy: "Oh for...first clean punch! Are you kidding me? Just like Stewart!"

O'Dell: "Page gets right back to her feet this time, Mac. Shakes it off and Jamie Lynn's back at her. Page is spooked, retreating and covering up as Jamie Lynn drives Ellen back into the ropes. Jamie Lynn going to the body here, digging into those ribs, trying to bring down the brunette's guard, bodying up against the smaller girl. Spears looking to end things here. Page doing just enough, covering up, clinching, taking the whack, answering back in spots, looking to get to the bell. Jamie Lynn getting off heavy, banging punches into Ellen's mitts as Page earmuffs, but the smaller girl survives! There's the bell. Big round for Jamie Lynn Spears!"

McCarthy: "Check the telestrator here. Watch how economical Jamie Lynn is in the clean up. No wild haymakers like. Ke$ha. A year's made a big difference in this kid. She knows what she's doing in there now."

O'Dell: "Reminds you a little of a young Britney, doesn't she?"

McCarthy: "More than a little, Jenny."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "And we're ready to go for the second round. Jamie Lynn moving in again. Looking to put punches together. Page moving better here. Answering back. Sticking, then moving, making Jamie Lynn chase. Spears willing to do that, landing jabs, willing to engage when Ellen sets her feet and getting much the better of things when Page is willing to exchange."

McCarthy: "Jamie Lynn is a heavy hitter for a fly. Ellen doesn't want to trade with her too much!"

O'Dell: "Page working hard, not going away. Using her speed to land effectively, but Jamie Lynn firing right back, winning the exchange, forcing Ellen away to redeploy. And that's it for round two. Another good round for Spears."

McCarthy: "Little better strategy for Page there. Forcing Jamie Lynn to fight a series of small battles, getting out of dodge when Spears starts to get off solid. Didn't win the round, but the kid competed."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn closing here, looking to do some damage inside. Ellen landing a couple of good shots there and Spears not answering, looking to pick her spot."

McCarthy: "Jamie Lynn may be searching for the big one here. Again, looking for her angles, not just flailing away burning up energy like Ke$ha did."

O'Dell: "Page lands again there. Nice right-left-right combination. Spears isn't hurt, but Page scoring, circling, bouncing inside, scoring again. Jamie Lynn not very busy this round. Lands a jab there, but Page, fires back. Lands a jab to the side of the head and a hook to the ribcage. Spears shoves her back a step, snaps off a jab, doesn't follow up. Ellen far more active here. And that's the bell. Round three to Page, I think."

McCarthy: "Yeah, and Jewel thinks so, too. She's in Jamie Lynn's ear telling her to get busy. I think she was being too cute there, looking for the perfect shot. She needs to let her hands go."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Round four underway and Page back to work. Ducking and bouncing inside, moving the head, looking to score. Jamie more active, though, landing some nice jabs, finding openings, digging a hook to the kidney clean there. Ellen still working, though. Not going away. But Jamie Lynn is taking control back. Lands a nice right hand lead there, follows with a left hook to the ribs. The blonde finding the range consistently. Page taking a lot more than she's giving here. Ellen lands a left...OH! Spears just rocked her with a slick left hand counter! Page is wobbly! Covering up again, backing to the ropes. Jamie Lynn not head hunting. Digging to that body again. Then splitting Ellen's guard with a jab that drives between her gloves. And there's the bell!"

McCarthy: "Let's check the telestrator on that left hand. Jamie Lynn reads this perfectly. She waits on Ellen to let the left jab go, then comes right over top of her right glove with a clean overhand left. If that's a right hand, I'm up in the ring right now interviewing Jamie Lynn."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Round five underway now, and Jamie Lynn stalking the brunette, walking her down, banging away with that jab from distance, closing in and then working to the body. Ellen firing back some, but Jamie puts down those uprisings with stinging left jabs, works her way in close, and then bags away downstairs, slamming punches in behind the elbows, working the ribs and kidneys. Page clinches. Jamie Lynn shoves her away and goes back to work."

McCarthy: "Nothing fancy here, Jenny. Jamie Lynn is processing this girl. Planning on taking her out of here by weight of shot."

O'Dell: "Give Page credit, though. She's hanging in there. Firing back in spots. And that's the end of the fifth round."

McCarthy: "Pretty big lead for Brit's little sis right now, on my card, anyway."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn right back at Ellen, walking her down, banging away with those jabs to the head and the hooks to the body. Spears really investing in that body. Might be the Neve Campbell influence on the youngster..."

McCarthy: "This is HBO, and anything I say about Neve Campbell is STILL going to be censored!"

O'Dell: "Spears backing Page up against the ropes again, concentrating the attack down stairs, banging away at the belly and kidneys. Ellen looks to be breaking down here, Jenny. Just reacting now. Can't get any work done."

McCarthy: "Jamie Lynn's just beating this kid up, but give her credit for guts out there. She won't go away."

O'Dell: "And the sixth round ends. Another very good round for Jamie Lynn Spears."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "And we're underway in the seventh. Again Jamie Lynn on to the offensive, using her reach advantage and her jab to move Ellen and then banging away to the body. Page not going away, though, firing back here, trading with Spears, and Jamie Lynn with a hard right-left that sent the sweat flying from Page's hair!"

McCarthy: "This Page kid has more guts than enough. She's determined to exchange!"

O'Dell: "Ellen being forced backward, sets her feet and lands a left, takes a hard right in response. Spears digging to the body again. Page lands a right hook to bra line and Jamie Lynn snaps her head back with a left jab and bangs a right hook into her ribcage. Page exchanging and getting the short end of it. Spears with a left-right to the head, digs a left uppercut to the belly...AND SENDS PAGE TO HER KNEES WITH A RIGHT HOOK TO THE LEFT EAR!"

McCarthy: "Kid's going to get up! Unreal!"

O'Dell: "Ellen takes the standing eight and that's the round."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "The eighth is underway and Jamie Lynn stings Ellen with a pair of jabs to the face. Page fires back, missing badly and she takes a pair of hooks to the kidneys as a result. Ellen snaps a jab, lands it, but there's nothing behind it. Jamie Lynn driving her back into the ropes and going to work on the body. Page still trying to respond, but she's barely keeping it together. Too much punishment tonight, I fear. Jamie Lynn snaps back Ellen's head with a right hook! Page covering up along the ropes. Spears lathering the lats, breaking down Ellen's guard with hooks to the head that slap her hands aside and straight right hands between the gloves that split them. Ellen jabbing back, trying to tie up, sliding to her left along the ropes trying to find some space, but Jamie Lynn's bodying her...OH! Nasty body shot right there! Hook to the liver! Wobbled Page! Had to grab Jamie Lynn to stay upright! That's a Neve Campbell special right there, J-Mac!"

McCarthy: (dead air)

O'Dell: "Spears shoves Page backward, bangs a right lead between the gloves, sends Ellen wobbling left with a left hook to the side of the head. Ellen throws a wild left that wraps around the back of Jamie Lynn's head, and Spears bangs a couple of hooks to the body. Ellen's a mess here, Mac! Only the ropes holding her up. Right hand Jamie Lynn and Ellen stumbles to her left. Referee watching closely, but Page throws a couple of short punches that Spears shrugs off. Jamie Lynn digging back to the body, snaps Ellen's head back again, this time with a hard left between the gloves, and there's the bell! Ellen somehow survived that! She's a shambles, stumbling back to her stool...and I think that's it!"

McCarthy: "Kid's arguing with the referee! She wants to go back out for the ninth!"

O'Dell: "He's having none of it, Mac! It's over! Your winnier by TKO8, Jamie Lynn Spears!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Jenny McCarthy!"

McCarthy: "Jamie Lynn, pretty impressive out there tonight against a gutty opponent..."

Jamie Lynn: "She's tough. Can't take that away from her. She fights hard and she gave me all she had. I'm glad the referee stopped it. I didn't want to hit her anymore. I stayed off of her chest and tried to stay mostly to the body that last round. She was hurt and fighting on guts. I don't know what was holding her up, especially after that liver shot Neve taught me..."

McCarthy: "And that's all the time we have, back to you, Jenny!"
