Sarah is sporting a new hair colour tonight – black – and maybe this will be a change in fortune for her too, as she has taken some fearful beatings so far, so a match with Chantelle is make or break for her. Win, and she might start climbing up the rankings, but lose and she’s looking at being a punchbag for the younger fighters coming through.

When the girls enter the ring for this lightweight matchup, Chantelle is sporting a pale blue bra and panties set, with Sarah in a black one-piece – both appear confident.

Round 1

Sarah is quickly taking the upper hand, throwing some heavy hooks into Chantelle’s waiting face, and the younger girl looks hurt already, rocks backwards on to the ropes, but when Harding comes in to hit her to the body, she fights back, her won looping punches bumping into Sara’s shocked face, and now the singer looks in trouble, guarding her head with her gloves upside her ears, but Houghton is leaning on her, thumping nasty, hurtful uppercuts into her boobs and gut, an Harding is pleased to hear that bell.

Chantelle had the better of an untidy round.

Round 2

An angry-looking Sarah is quickly out of her trap again, but she is more orthodox this time around, showing Chantelle more respect, keeping a proper boxing guard up and pumping out reliable left jabs, and she is getting better results than with her foolish attempt to blast the girl. Houghton’s boxing skills are not sufficient here, so she just goes all out to land her big shots, but she’s just getting beaten to the punch and picked off with the singer now carefully staying beyond her reach, jabbing her and moving to the end of the round.

Round 3

Chantelle tries to up the tempo now by launching herself at Sarah, swinging wildly, but the singer is able to sway and move, making Houghton’s lunges look foolish, then she cuffs away at the model, stinging her with those jabs, then, as the girl crouches, she clubs her to the sides of her head with a good, two fisted pummelling, and Houghton is down, her head ringing, her knees hit the canvas, and she doesn’t look keen when she gets up at 7, especially when Sarah hurts her with a hard left dig to her ribs, then gets her into a corner and chops away to that body, the model in clear pain at the bell.

Sarah takes the third easily – Chantelle is sobbing on her stool.

Round 4

Chantelle is up for the fourth, but has barely moved from her corner when Sarah starts to club away to her ribs and flanks again – the model tries to push her away with an open glove, then she turns her back on Sarah – is she quitting? Doesn’t matter, because the ref stops the fight.

Sarah Harding stopped Chantelle Houghton in round 4.

A disappointing fight, with Chantelle clearly outclassed, but Sarah must improve that defence – a better girl would have knocked her down in that first round.
