BEFORE: Nadia Bjorlin actually debuted against Eva Larue in 2006, got welcomed into the FCBA the hard way by suffering a painful TKO3. Bjorlin answered that loss a couple years later with a beach victory over Eva – girls remain heated rivals. Persian-Swede vocal pre-fight about Eva’s age. “There’s one single stat you need to consider when you think about this duel. Eva is 44 years old. I’m sorry, but isn’t there a Grandmommy division where gals over the hill like her can play? I’m young, I’m strong, I’ve got the best body at welter – and you know, I feel like, I really like feel this could be Eva’s retirement fight, the one fight that ruins her, squeezes out her last drops, sort of like what happened to Casta while ago – and she was WAY younger than Eva.” “Oh, Nadia, this is just pathetic”, Eva replies. “It’s obvious how insecure Nadia is. She’s afraid of my class – she’s essentially just a Playboy-ish bimbo whose career will never extend beyond her silly daytime soap. See, I’ve become a primetime star, with primetime talent. Nadia can talk about her age advantage as much as she wants – the fact remains that she’s only successful when she’s lucky: there’s been SO many instances of technically better fighters outsmarting her. We’ve seen a lot of veterans recently who were supposed to be outmatched against younger, fitter competition: me exposing Nadia will fit right into that Diaz/Landry/Garner pattern.”

FIGHT:
R1: Big girls in close action, Nadia aggressively pushing her weight into Eva, pulling at shoulders and rifling bursts of punches: obviously targeting Larue’s firm stomach. Eva taking the punches well, looking to place counters. Bjorlin using distance better – Eva unable to beat Nadia to punches. Bjorlin launching into sudden firing, staying more active during the whole first round but Larue is competitive as girls square away close.

R2: Larue's experience to the fore: grappling with Nadia in close, she outfoxes the brunette in the pocket. Eva grabs Nadia, turning her around, beating her to punches. Bjorlin slugs back competitively/powerful but she’s contained mid-ring: Larue very crafty, strong, technically cute to keep Bjorlin under control. 40plus Eva looking very fit, strong legs almost dancing, aggressively working Bjorlin’s stomach – Nadia punching air occasionally as Eva twists and turns, leans away, manages distance well while hurting Bjorlin going forward.

R3: Bjorlin stalks Larue, getting close to square away – cute counter, Larue! Erupts into sudden muscular hook - BJORLIN’S HURT! Nadia stumbling backwards on uneven legs – Eva takes command. Nadia at the ropes, in earmuff – constantly walked backwards by her opponent, defensively trying to place counter off ropes, but it’s not working. Larue punishes Nadia! Right hands rattling Nadia’s chin – strong legs tested at several instances. Little winces of pain, Nadia – this is a steady body-beat-up. Eva actively going at Bjorlin’s paunch, then chest – rifling her fists into Nadia’s jumping jugs. Bjorlin taking many punches, outpunched, desperately trying to remain upright but her knees bend awkwardly: Nadia able to straighten up just so – bell sounds before Eva can test her knees some more. Very shabby look Nadia – half a dozen clean face punches this round, not much back from her. Larue giddy at the beating: takes a stunning 10-8 without a knockdown.

R4: Larue looking to take momentum, engages Nadia in slugging exchanges, hoping last round’s action have tucked at Nadia’s strength: doesn’t work – more resistance than anticipated. Great recovery for Bjorlin: strong legs, fierce comeback to win a competitive heat. Larue backing off, disappointed, has trouble closing the distance – Nadia very convincing with her midrange work.

R5: Bjorlin stormin' out of the gates, youthful strength visible here and she’s superbly conditioned. Nadia POUNDS Eva early – action ALL going Nadia’s way here – slashing rights, disastrous chin-checkers render Larue HELPLESS at the ropes. Poor Eva sliding down the ropes in tight earmuff, desperately keeping her guard up, trying to take the wide thick punches in her side and chest. Almost turns into a jug-mugging session: Nadia eyes blazing, on fire, rapidly throwing punches into Eva’s proud chest – brunette swaying, swooning, leaning into the ropes – COUNTER, LARUE! What the heck – Nadia all but busting Eva up, suddenly takes a violent uppercut wobbling her chin. Brunette in shock, eyes wincing – tottering backwards, her head punched queasy AGAIN AND AGAIN! Eva punching herself out of the corner – tags Nadia’s chin. Bjorlin answers: big girls just throwing out one KO hook after another – hoping to slap each other out. BOTH are standing at the bell – brutal poundout has both girls reeling, hurt – it’s a miracle we haven’t seen a knockdown yet.

R6: Girls step into each other battered and looking to batter the other more: monstrous punches applied: true last-woman standing slug-out here. Bjorlin gambles – overhead right savagely cracks through Eva’s guard, knocks back her head all loose and lolling. Bjorlin storms on: keeps a reeling Larue pinned to the ropes, cleaning her up with wild series of body-punches: Eva’s hurt! One-sided ropeside beatdown: thorough workover Bjorlin on Larue – eyes on fire, seething with punch-out lust – FREAKIN’ COUNTER, LARUE! Off-ropes, out of a sloppy pocket – same uppercut from last round sees Nadia’s eyes roll back, as she staggers away hurt. Larue exhausted, too – barely able to stalk hurt brunette. Big women still standing, taking enormous damage – proudly refusing to go down first. Bjorlin’s face signed by thick cuts above the eyes, courtesy of Eva’s mean counters – Larue: one eye swollen to slit, cuts above the lips bleeding. Destructive, explosive, even fight after 6!
