Samia's Samurai vs Dani's She Devils 4

Emilie’s conqueror, the BBU champ Dannielle Brent just knows she can beat Brittany, 7 years her junior, who hasn’t got past the fourth round yet, and this could set up another deciding final bout.

Danni is cool before the fight, “What can I say? I’m good – she isn’t! End of story!” Brittany looks nervous, “I feel good, so I can beat this Brit! OK?”

Round 1

Brittany starts well, and surprises Danni by pumping a few punches into her body at the start, enough to keep Brent at bay, and when they do get closer, it’s Brit who lands the better punches, her strict upright style maybe a little stiff, but Danni is too loose, too cocksure, and she is getting punished in this round, and hurt, too – Snow has a punch! Brit gets Danni onto the ropes, and she lands again to the Samurai’s body, and it makes her gasp, her elbow jerking down in defence, but Brittany can’t get to her head, as Danni counter punches quickly, and that’s the bell.

Brittany takes the first round.

Round 2

Embarrassed in the first, Danni starts better in the second, showing Brittany some respect, and boxing properly, jabbing the She-Devils face hard, sidestepping, hooking her to the ribcage, blocking the younger girl’s counter-punching, then jabbing her again, rocking her head back, marching her to the ropes and working her shapely body over nicely, thumping her around the boobs as well, and catching her face as the round draws to a close and Snow weakens.

Danni gets an equalising round.

Round 3

Tough start for Brittany, with Danni thudding punches into her body from the bell, and the American is hurt, backing off – nowhere to hide in the ring, though – so she’s soon on the ropes, and those gloves are already dropping as she gets hurt to the flanks and gut. Snow’s face is streaked with tears even before Brent starts punching it, and the Samurai girl lays into the She Devil with that left jab, banging the girl’s head back, then, biding her time, she lines her up for the right, clubs it to her jaw and floors her, Brittany sat on her ass, looking up at a grinning Dannielle Brent as she takes a 7 count. Not long in the round to go, and brave Brittany tries to get back at Danni, but she gets rocked with another right hook and is left to stagger back to her stool.

Dannielle takes the third, and maybe should have won it there.

Round 4

Brittany looking troubled as the round begins, already taking heavy shots to her ribs in the first 30 seconds, and she really does have trouble keeping her gloves up. The She Devil’s energy has all but gone, and Danni cracks her head back with another double left jab, then lands the right hook to her jaw again, floors her for a second time, and this time the blonde girl stays down, counted out on her side.

Dannielle Brent knocked Brittany Snow out in round 4 to level the series again at 2 – 2.

Danni is smiling after the fight, “Mmmm … I was too cocky to start, yeah, and she hit me, but then I beat her up – no problem. C’mon Nikki! Win this for us!” Brittany looks tired, “Danni’s their best girl, so there’s no shame to lose to her!”
