This has the feel of a total mismatch. Sophie has yet to win a fight, and Liv has just beaten up Victoria Smurfit, and Liv seems angry with the matches being presented to her, “What’s this? Another jobber? OK, she asked for it!”

Liv looks good as ever in a black outfit, and Sophie wears a weird red basque, which hardly suits her image.

Round 1

Liv ambles around the ring at first, letting Sophie hit her with a flurry of neat, but not very effective jabs, then she just ploughs into the girl, banging punches into her sleek body from all directions, the singer almost screaming as she gets battered on the ropes, then Liv bangs a right hook into her jaw, and Sophie’s down. The Brit gets up at 7, gets lamped round the body a bit more, then felled with a left hook to the jaw – stay down if you’ve any sense, Soph! She gets up, but at 8, and Live would surely have finished her if the bell hadn’t rung.

Round 2

Sophie bravely gets to her feet to face Liv’s next onslaught, which takes place in her own corner by her own management, and doesn’t take long – left to the mouth, right to the mouth, left to the cheek, right to the ear, left to the jaw and that’s it!

Liv is furious after the fight, shouting at Denise van Outen, “I came here to do you guys favours! That was a waste of everybody’s time and money out there, and that kid coulda got really hurt! Either you put me in the ring with that champ of yours, Javine Hylton, or my visit is over!”
