BEFORE: "Australian girls don't lose fights to French girls," Poppy shrugs in prefight - neatly glossing over the history of Ledoyen/Watts. "With money and a good group behind me, I'm championship material. Elodie's going to be my way of telling the FCBA to duck and cover, 'cause Poppy Mo's makin' her move!" Frege rolling her eyes at Poppy's bluster. "Who is Poppy Montgomery to show me such disrespect," Elodie says, brow a-frowning. "I am every inch the fighter she is. Virginie battered Naomi Watts and ruined her career: I will do the same to Poppy!" Elodie in black bikini top/leopard print bikini bottoms; black gloves; hair loose. Poppy in baby blue lace push up bra/baby blue bikini bottoms; white gloves; blonde hair loose/curly.

During R1: Elodie show a V front: elbows collected beneath her breasts, hands cupping cheeks. Poppy flat-footed, square to target: she's batting hooks to waist CHUP! CHUP! She's hooking Elodie's right shoulder. She's force-feeding right hands straight up the middle, trying to split the mitts. Elodie strong in her stance - absorbing a lot of leather on her arms/guard/body - not really getting off - just letting Poppy operate. Punching party for Poppy - she's not loading up, but she's firmly set, bouncing mitts off compliant French meat.

R2: Elodie jabbing out of the V front - pre-empting Poppy - startling her to mouth. Frege stepping in off the jab - bobbing...she's looking to catch Poppy sneaky hesitation punches timed to catch Monty throwing. Frege generally successful - punching Poppy out of her stance: whenever Aussie girl's disorganized, Frege gets after jugs via pesky double jab knock-knock to cleavage. Nobody hurt, but Poppy backing up, frowning, looking grumpy. Frege with a saucy little wink at bell puts heat in Poppy's cheeks.

R3: Girls in flat-footed stances - hands up - taking turns. Poppy bats hook-to-waist; covers up. Frege chops in left/right up top; covers up. Poppy tries a little left uppercut - nibbling at chin. Frege answers a similar tapping little right uppercut. Pleasing spank of body shots as girls circle, get off methodical: all even until half way through when a trade in hooks goes Poppy's way. Delayed effect in Frege's knees...French girl stumbles away all glassy-eyed, suddenly vexed. Poppy frisky in pursuit - slap-chopping a right to left side of Elodie's head - getting it again as Frege's stumbling to ropes. Elodie covers up earmuff, butt-in-ropes: Poppy knuckles-up on French chest, propping Frege upright, then digging RIGHT/LEFT to paunch with full committment.

ELODIE: "UH-H!"

POPPY: "HAH!"

Montgomery comes off the body left uppercut/right uppercut - neatly taking Frege to chin and DROPPING HER TO HAUNCHES-AND-PALMS. Elodie trembling on the spot, blinking away tears...Poppy stoops forward - right hand atop Elodie's head, left hand chopping in hook to exposed left flank! Elodie sniveling in outrage - ref pulling seething Poppy away: aggressive Aussie takes a good shaking as Frege struggles up off the canvas. Wobbly 8, Elodie...Poppy wades back in, issues: slap chop right to Elodie's breasts; swinging hook to breadbasket; shrugging, compact hook to jugs; kissing right cross to chin; left hook to left eye as Frege's swooning helpless at ropes; sweet clean up hook to Elodie's jaw, crumpling French girl against ropes. Frege out on her feet, relaxing into cables, then sliding down to sprawl chest-down parallel to apron. KO3 Poppy Mo.

After: Australian hugged and petted by her associates: ferocious win over willing opponent has Montgomery beaming. "I simply wouldn't stand for Elodie tonight," Poppy grins. "Only the knockout would do. It's a brilliant win, and one I hope Frege takes to heart: mess with Poppy Mo, and you'll hurt!"
