BEFORE: "Look - fighters in my class do owe Tricia a debt of gratitude," Odette admits in prefight. "Before Tricia, a fighter with my build would've had trouble getting good bouts and exposure: after Tricia beat Ali Landry? She proved that lanky willowy-bodied girls could be big threats. But time marches on, and Helfer's had her moment. Before, she opened doors for us, now she's in the way, trying to keep the doors closed to the rest of us, and it's time to push her aside. It's already started: Angie Harmon exposed Trish to the ribcage; Strahovski further reduced her...I'm excited to think that it could be MY fists that bring Tricia's career to a full stop!" Helfer blushing crimson: girl TEN YEARS her junior talking awful tuff at podium. "I also owe Odette a debt," Tricia begins, voice frosty. "I owe her for Brittany Daniel: don't think we haven't noticed how Yustman brings that fight up every chance she gets. And now she's playing the "turn-over-at-the-top" card - like I'm overstaying my welcome. Well, if I'm in the way, it's because I'm standing on ground that I took with my own two fists, and if Odette wants it? She's just going to have to take it from me." Tricia in black lace push up, leopard print bikini bottoms; platinum BSG hair; small black gloves. Odette in blue/white horizontal striped bikini (And Soon The Darkness); small white gloves; hair loose, straight, shiny-black.

R1: Girls flat footed, exploring each other at range...Odette with a poking left, sets up a sliding right over Helfer's outstretched left...TRICIA'S HURT! Helfer's right (back) leg picking up/stepping down in the wrong spots...she's stumbling, eyes wide, confused. Odette hungrily at Tricia - long rights and lefts chopping at Helfer's head/face, scoring, knocking her off balance and TRICIA'S DOWN! Blonde girl rickety on all fours, shaking her tousled head...she's up, wonky for 8. ON COMES ODETTE! Yustman at Tricia all long limbs a-lickin': left hand pushes Trish up by her sternum; whippy rights clapping in behind blonde right elbow; lapping, supple right/left rolling uppercuts take Tricia in her tummy. Helfer grimacing, but slugging back: palm-down slicing right clouts across Odette's mouth, buckling her knees and winning respect. Hammer and tongs late - long-limbed lasses poking, chopping, slapping and hacking - punching opposing faces and ribcages in rangy fashion. Bell: Odette scuffed but SO excited to see Tricia swaying wobbly on the spot, looking all face-pasted and stunned.

R2: Tricia making adjustments on the fly. Job 1 - jab more - touch Odette up and down. Job 2: circle round the poke - work clockwise around Odette's right flank. Job 3: jab over Odette's right shoulder; spoil her slinging right hand; catch her sticky right hands in the teeth when falling in. Job 4: clinch without shame - hold Odette, push her around, scrub her face with blonde hairline in the grasp.

R3: Tricia working her plan - jabbing consistently - loping to her left with elbows in, hands slightly out to the side in gull wing configuration. Odette stalking Trish - leaning in and slinging the wide right to Tricia's lean left flank PAK! Helfer willowy on her hips - torso leaning to one side or the other, dragging fists onto Odette in supple, licking strokes - steadily beating brunette about her ribs/ears. Bell: icy eye contact Trish to Odette...blonde woman outworks her brunette in the third.

R4: More hot-tossing two way action - Tricia tilting side to side on her hips, swiping and licking fists on target: Odette leaning in, looking to catch Trish slinging right hands. Gorgeous, limber-limbed contact either way: Tricia digging a bendy-backed left uppercut clean to Odette's solar plexus; Odette catching Tricia a looping right over blonde right mitt, then swipe-hooking Tricia's ribs just below the ribcage. Tricia clouting-across palm-down left hooks in tight - her elbow in close to her body on delivery: Odette short-shrugging in the right uppercut to Tricia's chin. Wearing stuff for both beauties, but Helfer's getting the better of it - cleverly side-stepping and re-initiating to keep herself in charge.

R5: Same again - Tricia willing to engage and lather away with Odette: blonde girl sidestepping, staying bendy on her hips to make sure Yustman's missing more of her shots than Tricia is her own. Yustman busting up, but fighting hard: slinging right hand a constant threat to Tricia's chin.

R6; Same again - Tricia in charge: Yustman competitive, but working within parameters set for her by Helfer. Tricia placing shots to Odette's midsection - cruel, digging, single-shot left or right uppercuts biting deep to tummy/plexus/ribs - small mitts sticky on sweaty flesh. Odette mouthbreathing, but slopping back the hurt: Tricia wincing from wide, whippy right hands up and down left flank; Tricia knocked off-stance by the odd slinging right to jaw.

R7: Odette's hard work pays off: insistent right hands finally jamming to a halt on Tricia's jaw, unhinging long blonde legs at the knees. Helfer's eyes: I'M HURT. Helfer's legs steppin' funky. Odette stalking - reaching to find Tricia with the left; slinging in the slap-chop right from range; straightening out the left into Tricia's mouth; poking the right stiff onto Tricia's left eye. Helfer reeling to ropes, forming face-in-gloves: Odette's all over her. Long, hard third minute for Helfer: she's paralyzed at ropes, slender legs holding her up as Odette lashes away to either blonde flanks PIK! PAK! PEK! Bell: Odette licking her lips, chest heaving - greedily looking Tricia over as blonde girl sags hurting against ropes.

R8: Tricia sliding to her left - feinting then stepping in stiff left jabs to Odette's mouth: brunette turning, getting her face spanked back PAK! P-PAK! Midway through - Tricia bending low as Odette's heaving right hands to head: blonde girl burying right fist to brunette tummy, coming up hard with stubby left to chin in tight. Odette hit hard, pushed back outside...Helfer loping to her left, sliding in and out, keeping youngster off balance through 8.

R9: Odette putting together straight, chopping lefts and rights...multiple strikes against Helfer's face have blonde girl sputtering forward a minute in. Tricia's feet stamping in fence post holes: blonde forms face-in-gloves - elbows tight together against her body: Odette snarling, loading up and LASHING Tricia vicious right hands whippy to flank. Poor Tricia! Helfer stumbling forward in max-face-protect as Odette tears at lean blonde beef downstairs: Yustman crying out as she swings away left/right tic/toc body lash - small mitts bouncing off Helfer's sinewy ribs. Bell: Trish shabby with hurt, wincing as she puts hands on hips to drag in deep breaths; Odette seething, chest heaving, trembling from Helfer-hate.

R10: Odette legging after Tricia, opening up full-throtte to extinguish wilting Trish. Helfer hollow-eyed, hurt to the body, legs a little rickety...she's circling, bouncing her back off the ropes, keeping elbows in, hands up. Odette jabbing to stabilize her blonde, then lashing her wide n' wicked to either flank: brutal, deliberate attempt to subjugate Tricia via all out ribcage assault. Helfer grimacing in pain, but fighting through it: she's clinching for ref's breaks; fitting Odette for the odd pre-emptive straight right off the ropes. Helfer obviously outworked and harrassed, but well-placed left uppercuts to sternum, or pokey little right hands to chin enough to keep Odette from going all-in. Bell: Tricia's lost the round, but taken the fight UD10.

After: Odette not taking it well - pouting in her corner; whining to FIGHTING INGENUE about cougar-bias in the scoring...Helfer just letting Odette rant in the corner rather than slapping the kid across the mouth. "You know - this was a big fight for her, and I took it away from her," Tricia shrugs. "I get it - I've been where she is. And I know that as long as I'm on top, Odette will never get her due from the media, so she's going to regroup and move against me again - but I can't worry about that. Tonight, I'm better than she is, top to bottom. She's just going to have to suck it up and get back to work - just like I did coming up."
