This could be an interesting matchup. Leona was given a lesson by Jewel Kilcher last time out, whereas Danneel hasn’t fought since 2007 If Daneel still has the speed and power she had before, Leona’s in for a tough time – if not, expect a quick win for the British singer.

Danneel enters the ring first in a classic black bikini, soon joined by Leona in a weird tiger-skin print one piece – her clothing sense is disappearing!

Round 1

The bout starts with both girls cautious, each sending out probing left jabs, but with little power – they are both feeling their way, for different reasons. Leona starts to quicken the pace, following her left jab with a few rights, which hardly bother Daneel, the actress soon outmuscling the Brit, taking her to the ropes to hurt inside, but she’s soon batted away by the busty girl’s solid jabs.

Close round, probably just won by Leona.

Round 2

Leona starts pressing Danneel, looking to close the girl down, trying to get her to the ropes, but the American is too good to take that at this stage, and she jabs Leona’s face neatly in retreat, lighting her face up as she lands more punches going backwards than the Brit does coming onto her. She is beginning to hurt Leona with those accurate jabs, and the singer is hurt, seeking refuge in the ropes, but none comes, and Danneel hurts her some more to the body.

That round’s Danneel’s!

Round 3

Danneel is beginning to control this fight, moving Leona around as she wants, picking the girl off, hurting her to the body, then cuffing her face, and Leona is starting to look shaky at this stage, gets worked to the corner, and takes a battering in there – she bursts out, still getting punched, stands her ground mid-ring, then Danneel gets her with a sharp left, right double and Leona is down, looking bad, up at 5, taking more bodyshots before the bell.

Big round for Danneel.

Round 4

Danneel soon gets to Leona again, and she hurts her with a good left to the flank, takes her back to the ropes to hit her around the face with good shots, marking up the singer’s mouth and cheeks. Leona is strong though, and she takes Daneel’s shots, coming back with her own, and she’s beginning to hurt the actress wit some of her own punches, hurting the girls as she looks to be tiring, and by the end of the round, it’s Danneel defending herself on the ropes, with Leona looking strong.

Leona takes 4.

Round 5

As the round starts, it’s clear that Danneel is tiring, with the more active Leona looking sharper, encouraged by the American’s body language, and she is hurting her now with good hooks to that pretty face, bopping her around a bit, the actress panting, laying against the ropes, but she gets caught by a good left hook from Leona, her knees buckle, then a right catches her on the jaw, and Danneel goes down, sitting on the canvas, blinking at the singer, up at 6, but hurt again before the round ends.

Leona takes another.

Round 6

Leona seems to be getting better as the fight wears on, and she’s getting to Danneel with her left jabs, and her follow up hooks now, hurting the actress quite badly, her face red and swelling. Danneel’s defence is crumbling as she gets hurt with another right hook, then Leona catches her with a big left, and that puts the American down again. Danneel’s up at 8, but she doesn’t look good, wobbling on jellied legs, exhausted really, and the ref decides she’s had enough.

Leona Lewis stopped Danneel Harris in round 6.

Leona gushes to Denise van Outen after the fight, “I’m really happy with that! I don’t know who I’ve got next, but it doesn’t matter – I feel so good, I could fight again now!”
