Nicola is not a girl who takes defeat easily, and her debut beating from Una Healy has left a bitter taste in her mouth. But can she sweeten that taste against pretty blonde Ashley, who hasn’t looked like losing on this tour.

Ashley has looked confident before the fight, “Nicola Roberts is a waste of space, and I’ll get this over with nice and quick tonight!” Responding, the redhead snaps, “This will be payback for what they made Kimberley do!”

Ashley has chosen a white bra and panties set for the bout, whilst Nicola has gone for a black bikini, and both girls look confident of victory.

Round 1

Ashley shows her famed strength in the opening exchanges, pushing and steering Nicola around, outmuscling her, punching her to the body, keeping her moving. For her part, Nicola is jabbing at Ashley’s face, dancing around her, throwing punches, many not landing, and she is working hard to stay with the blonde, then as, the round progresses, Nicola tires and takes punishment, gets herself trapped in a corner, and hurt late on in the round by Ashley’s heavier punching.

That’s Ashley’s round.

Round 2

The second round follows the same pattern, with Ashley in the centre of the ring, dominating the fight, and Nicola rotating around her, picking Ashley off with some nice shots, but using a lot of energy, so that, as she tires and slows down, she gets caught with a good right hook from Ashley, and she is soon back laying against the ropes and gets hurt by Ashley’s heavy bodypunching, making her pant. Nicola is tough, and she fights back well, hitting Ashley with her jabs, but she’s a little too slow, and gets hurt again by those thudding hooks to her flanks.

Ashley again.

Round 3

Ashley starts the round in dominant form, and she hurts Nicola with a series of hard right hooks to her body, looking to nail the singer against the ropes. But Nicola is not ready to roll over, and when Ashley gets too close, she catches her across the mouth with some sharp punches, making the blonde hold on, then, after they are broken by the ref, she gets a few solid jabs into Ashley’s face, following up as well with her right hand - Ashley is still concentrating on hitting Nicola to the body, but the girl’s getting picked off by sharp, bruising shots to her face.

Round 4

The round starts this time with Nicola looking stronger, and her energy is returning as she jabs Ashley’s face constantly, the blonde unable to keep clear, and the singer is bothering Ashley, hurting her with some nice hooks too, and Ashley’s face is bruising some more, the anger in her making her launch a big attack to Nicola's body, but she is beginning to look flustered and ungainly, and Nicola floors her with straight right hand to the mouth, Ashley getting up at 5, but she is hurt, and looks unsure of herself at the bell.

Knockdown round for Nicola should put her ahead

Round 5

When the girls come back out, it's almost as if they're starting again, circling each other, probing, but then Ashley gets acught with a couple of good headshots from Nicola, boping her backwards as the singer comes forward, and she's lumping Ashley's face up pretty badly now, getting her back to the ropes and hurtong her with good straight punching. But she needs to take care, because Ashley comes back at her, landing good shots to her body, and she hurts her, hurts her enough to bring Nicola's guard down, then she drops the Brit with a peach of a left hook to the jaw. Nicola's up at 8, but staggering, and is pretty much saved by the bell.

That’s Ashley’s round, and she’s in front again.

Round 6
Ashley is building on that knockdown, and she's trying to pin Nicola to the ropes, but this kind of effort at this stage of a hard fight is strength sapping, and Ashley just can't push the Brit around any more, she's too weak. Nicola is now regaining her confidence, gets back into her offensive mode, moving in nicely on Ashley again, landing yet more left jabs, follows up with a coupl of right hooks, another hard left and Ashley is down again, up at 6, but hardly recovered, and she gets hurt again before the round ends.

Fluctuating fortunes, as Nicola takes the initiative again.

Round 7
Nicola is well on top now as the round starts, her eyes clear and focussed as she continues hitting Ashley's face, knocking the blonde around, stunning her ,and softening her up, then she floors her again with a left hook - Ashley tries to get up, but can't, and she topples forward as the ref gives her the full 10 count.

Nicola Roberts knocked Ashley Benson out in round 7.

The fight is over, Nicola has won a hard victory, and she takes the microphone from Denise, announcing, “I know I should make this kid kiss my ass, but I really don’t think that’s dignified! I beat her, taught her a lesson, I hope, and that’s enough!”
