Before: Kozar covering her mouth and giggling in pre-fight, then: “Jolene looks like somebody stapled a pair of watermelons on a little boy! Seriously, if the judges are men, I know who’s going to win THIS fight before we even suit up!” Jolene not a big talker, but she is a so-called “dangerous string bean” generating lanky power from surfer-girl sinews, reminding many of a young Teri Hatcher, Jolene in camouflage print bikini, halter style top, boy cut bottoms. Heather in gold bikini.

During 1,2: Jolene slightly pigeon-toed, bouncy on her knees--she’s changing directions outside, swinging a hook into Heather’s side then pivoting around it, trying to loosen up Kozar’s stance. But Kozar doing all the productive work in these round. She’s cutting off the ring well, bringing battle to her slender foe, and landing hamhanded when she gets the chance. Heather looking to ride her left hand up around Jolene’s neck, hen work the slender blonde with right hands: curling clouts to jaw and jug, little uppercuts on the mouth, stuffing digs to flat belly. Heather fighting her fight, imposing her will early.

R3: Jolene able to open up the canvas a little more, getting into the fight now, She’s lifting a mean stick off her hip, keeping Heather off her and making the Playmate pay for real estate. Blalock also adapt at moving to a spot, planting and walking Heather in clean, potshot right hands--Heather taking some shivering blows on her jaw and grinning, taunting Jolene to stand and fight.

R4: Kozar with some bruising lick against the ribcage early, has Jolene bailing open mouthed, clinching early. Middle minute, Blalock on the run--trying to get her legs back, using the ring--Kozar hounding her, using that riding left and getting away with it. Final minute--Jolene’s feet calm down, movement’s more purposeful--she slidesteps to the right, closing up that left shoulder. Blalock rolls under a hopeful Kozar right and comes out of the crouch with a fishhook uppercut on the chin that unhinges Playmate legs at the knee! Kozar stunned, riding her right hand on Jolene’s shoulder, but not tightening up--Blalock shortens up her strokes and bludgeons body with rising right/left licks at the bell. Jolene steals a Kozar round, sends big blonde trembling to her corner.

R5: Kozar shakes it off, startles Jolene with a series of stubby lead rights to the upper chest, forcing Blalock ropeside. Jolene pointing her left shoulder at heather, slipping and parrying punches, but Kozar really sinking in lefts and rights to her girl’s back and sides, using a brawny shoulder to brag doll Blalock up against the strands. Blalock grunting in pain--she tries to clinch but gets muscled off--she tries to spin off but Heather bodies up--it’s all too much. Jolene takes a groggy knee at the midway point and heather clocks her a  forget-me-not left on the fave to draw a warning. All Kozar to the bell--Jolene shabby up against the ropes, just riding out the storm as Heather’s harsh fists hammer bony bodkin.

R6,7: Jolene’s turn to prove a warrior, soaking up a pummeling and coming out to box two fine come-back rounds. Kozar the clear aggressor now, snorting and stomping as she comes forward, nut Jolene’s managing the pressure with her feet, a loose jab off her hip and sidesteps around either shoulder,. Blalock not setting down on her punches, not hurting Heather, but she’s able to spot potshots and get out, banking points with limber finesse through 7.

R8: Pendulum swings back in Heather’s favour, When Kozar can get her left hand on Jolene to stabilize, she can use her strength to wear on the slighter-built Blalock. Fight drifts to the ropes, Jolene pulled down into a semi-crouch, elbows in, hands covering her chest and body as Kozar works her with blunt force right hands underneath. Heather patient, bodying up plenty, pressing on Jolene whenever she’s not hammering the “Enterprise” cutey. Blalock’s legs humming at the bell.

R9: Heather with some gorgeous swinging lefts and rights, fists crashing off Jolene’s ribs and scattering her hurt early--Blalock on the run again, just trying to stretch Kozar out, get to her rwach a little. Thumping pursuit from Heather all around the ring--she’s brazen, walking in, getting off and getting happy as Jolene wilts. Down the stretch--Jolene sliding away, looking pale and shaky, but she stops, uncoils a slinging right on the chin as Kozar wades in and HEATHER GOES WEOBBLY BUTT! Jolene steps right as she brushes the jab across Kozar’s open mouth and CRACKS her a looping overhand tight on the eye--DOWN GOES KOZAR! Heather cut deep and bad, wide-eyed and scared as she gets up--she’s blubbering as ref gives her a standing 8. Blalock on with lanky-limbed vengeance--big overhand rights, lusty underhand lefts--Kozar sitting into the ropes, then slumping to her knees as Blalock is pushed back by the ref. Another shaky 8, Heather with her gloves at her mouth as Jolene marches in. Blalock sets up outside, Kozar goes to throw the right and Jolene pulls the trigger--lanky uppercut with whipsaw body action behind it, Blalock bending her back to clip the chin and KOZAR GOES DOWN! Heather pooling soft and blonde at Jolene’s feet--Blalock looking down pretty as she turns to strut back to her corner. KO9 Jolene Blalock.

After: What happened? Kozar fighting her most complete fight as a professional, controlling Jolene’s boxing for the most part, methodically wearing the smaller girl down and it’s all over it a hail of vicious lanky-limbed power shots. Blalock proving tougher than she looks--she may not like it in the body but she can take it and when she gets her opponent cooperating, she can crack with the best of ‘em.
