At bantamweight, the new recruit to BBU America, French singer and actress Elodie Frege takes on Danneel Harris, a girl looking to re-establish herself on the circuit.

Elodie is rather understated for the bout, in a silver one-piece, with the bustier Danneel favouring a classic black bra and panties set.

Round 1

Both girls start slowly in this bout, testing each other out, more of a tactical jousting session in the early stages than a physical one. Daneel is working hard, trying to find Elodie with jabs, whereas the French girl is rather flat-footed as she circles the American, keeping the bigger girl at arm’s length, needing to draw her power, and it’s Elodie looking the better boxer as the round draws to a close, neither girl having landed a great deal.

Round 2

Now Danneel is looking to bring the fight into a close-quarters battle, which suits her style, and she gets some good shots into Elodie’s body, good blows, bring little grunts from the French girl’s lips. But Frege is getting more ring-wise, and she’s pretty cute in this matchup at middle to close range, as she rolls punches, at the same time, clipping Danneel to the waist, making the bigger girl defend, and slipping the best of the American’s best shots in a good, defensive display, frustrating Danneel at this point.

That has to be Elodie’s again.

Round 3

The round starts with both girls getting in close, but Elodie is still frustrating Danneel by holding on at every opportunity, clinching consistently. Daneel simply cannot get the leverage to land enough hurting shots to Elodie, and certainly not to her face, until late on in the round, when she lands a sturdy right uppercut to the French girl’s jaw, then gives her body a good buffeting on the ropes, knowing she has hurt the girl.

Danneel takes a round back.

Round 4

Now the fight begins to come alive, with the girls fighting shoulder to shoulder, an the level of activity now begins to increase, each of the girls still concentrating on fighting close together though, Elodie not giving Danneel an inch to hurt her with those booming hooks of hers. As the round wears on, Frege is becoming more and more confident, and hse’s the girl landing the shots now, beginning to wear Harris down with a long bout of cuffing punches to the American's mid-section, and she still has the ability to cover up when Harris gets back at her late in the round.

Round 5

The girls’ tactics are unchanged as the come out for the fifth, with Elodie kind of climbing over Danneel, cuffing her to the ribs and belly, The pace of the action is increasing, with Elodie beginning to hurt Danneel to the body, her clipping punches are tiring the bigger girl, who is becoming visibly frustrated, unable to get her punches going properly, and she is using heels of her gloves to try to push Elodie’s shoulders back, trying to set her up for the big shots.

Frustration for Danneel, as Elodie takes another round.

Round 6

Elodie is still jabbing away at Danneel’s body as the girls stay close together, using her superior fitness to outwork the American inside, her cuffing shots landing to her body. Harris is unhurt, but becoming more and more annoyed at Frege's point-snatching tactics in close. Danneel is again looking to push Elodie upright, trying to get some shots into her face, knowing she can hurt the girl given the chance.

Elodie takes another, and this is becoming one-sided.

Round 7

For the first time in the fight, Danneel begins to get some success, and now she gets a few of her jabs to land on the French girl’s face – it’s taken a while, but she’s at last getting through to her, and now Frege’s holding becomes more desperate than defensive. Harris hurts Frege with a nice left hook, then, as the French girl gets close, she hurts her to the body, chopping her a right hand to the waist. Elodie weathers the storm, nad gets up close again, weaving her way back in and clip Harris to the waist, tits and chin in slick combinations.

Close round, but no better for Daneel than a draw – she needs a knockdown.

Round 8

Harris is becoming more and more tired, her lack of recent action beginning to tell, and Frege is able to continually dictate the terms of this fight, getting inside Daneel’s guard, cuffing her ribs and mid-section constantly. As the round wears on, a dejected, hard-blowing Daneel is not really working anywhere near hard enough to damage Elodie, and she’s beginning to take a beating to her body as Elodie gets her crisp little shots landing over and over.

That’s Elodie again, and Danneel looks shattered

Round 9

The girls pick up in 9 where they left off in 8, with Elodie so energetic in her ability to wrap the American up, Harris, no longer seeming to have the stomach for this, with Frege getting those sharp punches of hers into the bigger girl’s body - none of the punches are hard, but there are still so many of them, and they are landing, which is more than Daneel is achieving. The round ends with Harris on the ropes, slack-jawed as Frege hits her to the ribcage.

Elodie gets another round – Danneel will have to knock her out!

Round 10

Frege is in total control of this fight, but she’s not pushing for the knockout, possibly doubting her ability to land a good enough shot, but she keeps pretty active. She gets inside Danneel again, meeting little resistance at this stage as they rub and bump shoulders - a good shot would put Harris away here, but Frege, who must be exhausted too, just swats and cuffs at Danneel's belly, ribs and tits, leaving a very weary Danneel Harris slumped against the ropes at the final bell.

This is an easy decision for the judges, and Elodie Frege gets an undisputed decision, outpointing Danneel Harris

Neither girl seems keen to give Denise van Outen an interview after the fight, Elodie seeming content to thank her new management team for the chance to fight in Cardiff on this bill.
