A late addition to the bill sees 34 year old Brit Martine taking on 24 year old American blonde Amber, both f whom could do with a nice win. Martine needs to clean up her act though - a repeat of her low punching against Lisa Maffia could see her dismissed.

Pretty Amber seems cools before the fight, "This girl's been around a while, but done nothing, so this looks like a good fight for me to win!" Martine counters, "Amber Heard? She won't last 5 rounds!"

When the girls meet in the ring, Amber seems to have a slight height and reach advantage - she is wearing a red and white polkadot bikini, with Martine wearing a dark blue one.

Round 1

Martine starts well, looking to hurt Amber with big bodyshots, and she takes her to the ropes early, aiming some mighty shots at the Blonde's body. But Amber is quicker than Martine, and turns her, putting her on the ropes before clipping her face with a few jabs before working to her body in the later stages of the round, leaving Martine panting at the bell.

Round 2

Martine attacks Amber early again in this round, trying to muscle the blonde to the ropes, but Amber fights her off, smacking good jabs into her face, and a few follow up rights when she realises Martine has gone defensive, but the Brit fights back, and lands a big left to Amber's flank, which hurts her, and now she can take the younger girl to the ropes and punish her to the body, wheeling away, lefts and rights focussing on that slim frame. Amber is strong though, and she tucks her elbows in and defends well, taking many of Martine's blows on her arms.

Martine levels the fight up.

Round 3

Amber ups the pace of her movement in this round, keeping out of Martine's reach in the early stages, then circling her and jabbing her face, dancing round her neatly for a tall girl, cuffing Martine, jolting her head back. Martine pursues the blonde in a lumbering mode, looking for big shots, but she's getting tagged with those jabs, and the occasional follow up right hook, and being made to look slow.

Amber takes that round.

Round 4

Martine is aggressive again at the beginning of the round, but she just can't find her range as Amber wheels away from her, circling and dodging then the blonde comes in, bats Martine's face with 3, 4 good, crisp shots, then moves back out again. Martine is gradually closing Amber down, but she's getting her face punched pretty regularly, and she takes more punishment before she moves the blonde to the ropes and gets her to the ribs with good shots. Martine is looking to land some heavy shots to Amber's face, but the blonde is a little too cute to let her.

Round 5

Amber is still keeping on her toes as much as possible, and she's still flicking good left jabs into Martine's face, but the Brit manages to time a right hook at last, landing to Amber's jaw, and the Americans knees are buckling, and now she's dropping back, but then she gets tagged again with a left to the mouth. Amber's defence is looking flimsy now, abd she allows Martine to work her to the ropes last, where she takes a few good shots to the body, which have her squeaking, then she's stunned with a right hook to the mouth, which puts her on her hands and knees. Amber scrambles to her feet at 6, but she's still drifting, and the round ends with Martine trying to find Amber again with those big punches, the blonde holding on, smothering the Brit's attempts to put her away.

That's Martine's round.

Round 6

Martine wants and needs to get in close to Amber again, but that means taking the American's jabs and occasional hooks to her face as she moves in, and Amber keeps her at arm's length by cicling her, not getting involved in trade in this round, just boxing the Brit on the retreat, while Martine looks cumbersome, moving more slowly, all the time taking punishment as Amber lands those hurtful jabs.

That's Amber's round again.

Round 7

Martine again comes doggedly forward, with Amber still picking her off, those jabs now beginning to mark the Brit's face, her cheeks red, and soon it's Martine who has her back to the rope, looking shabby as Amber gets to her with some neat bodyshots, the Brit moaning as each one lands, and she starts to crumble when Amber catches her with a right hook to the jaw, hanging on by the bell, trying to tie Amber up in a clinch.

Round 8

M still coming forward at the start of the round, but she's slow, and A is batting her face for fun now, bruising her up, a smear of blood from her left nostril, with A still landing to her face. Ms knees are wobbling as she drops against the ropes, and A catcxhes her again with a right to the jaw - M holds on rather than go down, but she takes a lot of punishment to the body before the bell.

Amber takes another round, and Martine is running out of ideas.

Round 9

as the round starts it's Amber moving towards a weary Martine, and she's hurting her to the body really early in the round, taking her to the ropes, and the Brit'ss knees buckle as she gets caught with yet another right hook. Martine has to hold on a again, and the girls are broken by the ref, then they clash once in mid-ring, where Amber cuffs Martine's face with two good jabs, and the older girl's arms are dropping, and Amber floors Martine with a right hook. Martine is up at 7, but she is dazed, and she gets hurt with a quick left right combination which almost puts her back down before the bell.

Amber takes the ninth, and it's almost over for Martine.

Round 10

Martine looks thoroughly exhausted now, and her face is a battered mess, but she carries on, takes another right hook to the jaw, stumbles, and falls again, bravely getting up at 8 - the ref could stop this, but he's giving Amber the chance to knock her out. The ref waves the girls on, and once again it's Amber taking Martine to the ropes, and she's hitting her as hard as she can, trying to finish the job, but Martine somehow stays upright, right through to the bell, well beaten but not finished off.

Amber Heard outpointed Martine McCutcheon - unanimous!

Amber is weary but happy after this win, "Germany - I love you!"
