BEFORE: Pushing and shoving in prefight: flyweights not shy about getting in one another's grills. "Look - Shakira does work hard in the ring," Ricci allows at podium, "but she's a girl who gets beat by good fighters. It's really that simple: Shakira can't handle a certain class, and I'm in that class. Winner: Christina Ricci!" Shakira making faces throughout - clearly disagreeing with every syllable. "Christina Ricci wants you to think she's a Natalie Portman, a Reese Witherspoon..." Shak says. "She's not! She's shark-chum! She's a cup-of-coffee while you're waiting for a big fight! I will beat Ricci's ASS for what she's said about me in these conferences. All I have to say to Chris is THIS!" Shak turning to Ricci - blonde girl erupting into a wild head-tossing; pelvis pumping set of gyrations on the spot - Colombian making a brazen non-verbal statement of supremacy with the dance demonstration. Christina in purple bandeau bikini; small black gloves; short black pixie hair. Shakira in leopard print bra; leopard print slitted skirt over boy-leg black stretch shorts; small black gloves; long blonde hair in unruly tangle curls. During ring instructions, Shak's shimmying her shoulders, making faces, fidgetting: Ricci's got a sour expression of irritation at the sight.

During R1: CLAMBAKE! Shak hops into Chris via wide-swinging right; immediately switching into jagged left uppercuts in close. Ricci soon joins in - bobbing on the spot - slugging both hands tidy from her crouch. Ricci tagging Shak some beauties to face - visibly punching blonde head back to appreciative hoots from the crowd: Shakira belting away robust left/rights to Ricci's midsection/flanks as Chrissy's bending forward. Both girls taking the other's punch well - it's just a race to see who can light the other up more, and it's Shak by a smidge at the bell.

R2: Same again - girls bop-to and get off - each trying to lay a lickin' on the other. Ricci chugging hard up the middle - bouncing mitts off belly-beef in staccato bursts: Shakira beaten backwards to ropes. Shak snarling, slashing back wide left/rights - slit-skirt twirling as she twists into her licks. Ricci's fists POUNDING into Colombian ribcage - small mitts bouncing off meat...torrid two-way hup-hup nonstop to bell, with Ricci in top position at ropes, still working until ref pulls her off.

R3: Shak bangs back! Ricci pushing forward with fists a-churning...she wins a few feet of canvas before Shakira firms, answers with fists blazing in response. Girls bobbing on the spot - each trying to dip in under the other then come up slugging...fighters holding fists tight to chests/elbows in close to bodies in compact form. Snapping, snatching stuff back and forth as tight punches bounce off firm bodies; hands brought back quick to reset; torso's bobbing; shoulders bumping. Shakira takes it late with a cuffing left hook to Ricci's paunch; a swatting left to Ricci's right ear; a chopping inside right to left side of Ricci's face.

R4: Chrissy's turn - she gets inside and whirls away - bumpin' and a-sluggin' with similarly-configured Colombian. Ricci tucking short, rolling right/left uppercuts to Shakira's breadbasket/tits in tight...brunette getting legs and back into super-short shots, just picking blonde girl up tuff. Girls ignore the bell - still in there scrubbin' until ref pulls 'em apart.

R5: First minute: they're in close, bobbin' and sluggin' - Chrissy systematically ringing Shakira up head and body in the exchanges. Second minute - Shakira looking frazzled - she disengages, looking to regroup: Chrissy pounces at her, hooking jug, crowding close, staying on top of wilting Shak. Fight drifts to ropes - Chrissy on top: third minute's all about Ricci cleaning up as Shakira stops punching! Chris squared up - bobbing underneath Shak, then rubbing her upright - lapping mitts hup-hup to blonde belly before crossing arms and bobbing again. Tummy work has Shak in a bad way: Ricci comes off the body with a pair of short, jerking right uppercuts - neatly clipping at Shakira's face and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Weary Shakira dropped to all fours just at the bell...Ricci shouting "HAH!" at Shak's back before hopping away.

R6: Chris Ricci gets it done bell to bell: Shakira lumping up, looking confused, a little ass-kicked as Chris comes forward brawny. Ricci bobbing under tepid Shakira punches, then answering back stubby, walloping clout - frequently catching Shak flush right hands on the face or ripping her hooks to belly. Ricci consistently working gut via short, pumping right/left combos - crossing her arms thereafter and bobbing to slip receipts. From this pattern, Ricci will erupt with hooks up top - frequently clouting Shak's face hard to starboard...and that nasty, short-jerking right uppercut is still there whenever Shakira's available. Bell: Shakira finishes up butt-in-ropes, taking it tuff from Chris through 6.

R7; Chrissy taking Shakira to ropes, processing her. Shak grumpy, distressed - showing earmuff; showing hands-stacked at midriff as she dips side to side...she's just not getting off much. Meanwhile - Ricci a little punchaholic in there - touching, touching, touching the gut; romping up top - always chopping and cuffing her blonde. Bell: Ricci delighted - pushes sulking Shak deep to ropes before hopping away all happy.

R8: Shak engages - much more competitive snapping two-way, reminiscent of the early rounds. Girls bobbing in underneath each other - ripping stout clout to the body; chopping short shots to either side the head. It's Shak who gets the right uppercut working inside, picking up Ricci's jugs and face with tight-curling delivery - often doubling the shot hup-hup.

R9: Ricci puts down the uprising...bumping and slugging Shakira to ropes. Blonde girl snarling - right hand stacked atop left at her midsection as she looks to swipe counters from the pocket. Ricci smote to head and body but pouring on the volume: small mitts bouncing off blonde hips/flanks; chugging up into breadbasket/jugs. Chrissy just outworking Shakira here - throwing hard shoulders at Shak's mouth just for good measure throughout.

R10: Ricci on Shakira, bell to bell, at the ropes. Chris just too determined tonight: Shakira heartbroken as her butt sits on cable once again - blonde girl helpless to interrupt the Ricci fight plan. Shak sullen, taking punishment - her right hand palm-out at left side of her mouth; left across her gut as she dips and twists in the pocket. Nothing fancy from Chris Ricci - curvy little A-lister just dousing blonde girl in leather - hup-hup-hup volleys beating all things Shakira to the finish line. Bell: Chrissy beating at Shak's biceps and ribs for insurance - ref hauls punching-pixie off her victim for a UD10 Ricci verdict.

After: Christina strutting smug - vintage hard-working performance really suffocated a flashy blonde slugger tonight. "Awesome!" Ricci chirps, when asked how she feels. "She came in all "I'm Shakira. I'm the Colombian bad-ass." But a few rounds of me and she was all "Don't hurt me! Stop, stop - I can't take your punches!" I love it - I love taking it to a girl and beating the will to fight out of her. Shakira's not going to forget this pummeling any time soon, I can tell you that. Neither will anyone else in the flyweight division!" Don't look now, has RiRy developed a darkhorse one-two punch in Spearritt and Ricci? Respective wins over Hudgens and Shakira drawing some scrutiny from division scouts these days.
