THAT'S what we're not seeing from Piper - she just doesn't have that level of performance in her!" Piper looking a little face-slapped: Olivia's confidence, podium-presence always formidable factors. Munn the busier, heavier-handed vixen - she gets the better of Piper in all exchanges.

R2: Same look - Piper defensively sound, compact - some stubby-jab issuance to get herself close - good head movement as she bobs on the spot and looks to hook. Olivia wilder, wider, harder-hitting - black gloves spanking off tanned blonde flanks/arms as Piper covers up. Munn likes to push her head into Piper's guard while deploying brawny mitts downstairs: blonde girl feeling it in her paunch/above both hips as brunette clouts away. Another good round for Munn - she's out-throwing, out-hitting Piper AND bumping her around/walking her down through 2. Bell: Munn shouts: "DOMINANT!" While forcing blazing eye contact. World's most defiant pout from Piper in receipt.

R3: "Bad news, baby," Olivia's grunting as she's getting off on covered up blonde. "Corner gave me the green light to go hard this round - go for a KO. That's right...had the cuffs on 'til now. Been holding back." Pounding blows punctuating the speech - mitts bouncing off body/arms/guard. Piper gritting her teeth, refusing bait: she's disciplined in the pocket - bobbing in close, hooking the midsection consistently, now graduating to tits, then bringing the left hand back tight to temple. Bruising back and forth: Piper with some nice deep bobs at the waist making Olivia miss over the top, then catching her short-clout rights and lefts on the counter.

R4: Piper finding her rhythm. Bobbing, Frazier-esque upper body movement when she's close - Olivia missing wide swings over the top. Piper hooking hard out of her crouch, finding Munn in her belly, tits...blonde girl establishes the left hand, then starts mixing in chopping rights at close quarters. Olivia steadily rung up - taking it all tuff, but she's accepting a short, hacking right on her jaw inside - plus the stubby Perabo right uppercut in close...blonde girl bumpin' and a sluggin', making herself felt as she backs Olivia up for points.

R5: Glorious, slam-bang two way action: fighters bumping shoulders and foreheads, reefing hard to bodies underneath, then clubbing away to heads in close. Crowd chanting "PIPE-R! PIPE-R!" - little blonde sweetheart a bit of a favourite, much to Olivia's evident displeasure. Munn loading up and WHACKING blonde amidships, but paying the price: stocky blonde standing her ground, shipping her hurt, then dishing it right back all sturdy and stubborn. Bell: Olivia's got a nice little mouse growing under left eye; both girls' ribs nice and pink through 5 hard-hitting heats.

R6: Exact same as the fifth - both girls banging and bumping, but Piper's nice compact stance, good head movement, tight blocking guard giving her the edge in most exchanges. Olivia really throwing hard, but all too often landing on Piper's muscular arms, while blonde fists are finding the mark fairly consistently.

R7: Bruising, bruising fare - basically too close to call. Both girls often closing their eyes when laying in mouth on shoulder - mouths are open...fighters getting banged up, starting to draw on deep reserves in the constant tummy-to-tummy attrition.

DURING THE BREAK:
PIPER'S CORNER: "Her tummie's quitting Pipe - rip at her gut!"

OLIVIA'S CORNER: "Her legs are shaking whenever you guys are leaning-in together...walk her back in the clinch baby, make her feel you! YOU GOT THIS OLI! BABY, YOU GOT THIS!"

R8: Same as the seventh...it's a fighting stalemate. Fighters laying in mouth on shoulder, eyes wincing shut in pain. Girls slugging blindly at offending guts, each just moving her hands while laying in cheek-to-cheek. Piper more apt to chug up the middle, landing her shots in a tight grouping to Olivia's paunch and jugs: Munn varying her distribution - beating the hips/flanks; pounding the biceps; touching the paunch, picking up the tits. Girls' backs are running slick with sweat, hair all damp and frizzy...neither backs off from the heat through 8 pulverizing rounds.

R9: ANOTHER drawn round...fighters just deadlocked, answering each other harm for harm. Some work at the ropes - Piper bobbing on the spot, lapping her mitts at tummy ala Bennie Brisco, then bobbing again as Munn's firing back. Munn reversing with veteran pushes in behind Piper's elbow - temporarily putting blonde back on ropes or payback. Olivia laying in with her face on Piper's guard while arms swing freely at blonde midsection: Piper tighter in delivery, rolling her shoulders and pumping 'em in hup-hup-hup when it's her turn.

R10: Same again...just two evenly matched girls matching mitts and wills midring...AND OLIVIA BREAKS! Munn's buttocks suddenly all a-wobble, her thighs a-jiggle...brunette giving with an agonize whine as her body mutinies, allowing stocky blonde to push forward slugging! Ropes: Piper on top - rough with her head under Olivia's chin - rough with her left shoulder in Oliva's chin, nudging and stacking. OH those chugging right/left/rights in Olivia's gut, setting up the thick-and-pounding wide left hook around Olivia's right elbow. Munn demoralized, SO tired, so battered...she can't get butt off ropes, slowly shutting down as Piper piles on. Perabo in-rhythm...bobbing on the spot, getting her head/shoulders under Olivia to prop her up, then digging at Munn's trembling tummy. BELL: Blonde girl on autopilot, still harvesting her brunette...ref pulls Piper off as Munn hugs herself and breaks down into how-could-you tears! That's UD10 Piper Perabo!

After: Break through fight for Perabo? Beaming blonde girl thinks so: "Oh yeah, this felt good," Piper grins in postfight. "I felt her strength right away, and I just thought: 'this is the most dangerous girl you've ever been in with - just stay calm; keep competing.' Really hard hits in my body - especially early - but I never quit - just kept at her, kept touching her midsection, kept making her work. Started gobbling her up...I knew the rounds were close, but I always felt like I had more at the bell - like she was draining faster and getting weaker. By the end, she had nothing left and I just floored it - went at her strong, and she collapsed! When her legs gave way, and she started crying? That was the best feeling of my life, just knowing that I'd gotten it done, and I could clean up from there!"
