BEFORE: "Yeah, Morena..." Piper says thoughtfully at podium. "She's very slick - not shy about getting cheap - she's definitely a challenge. I think though that I proved against Munn that I'm an elite pressure fighter, and I don't think Morena's built to take Piper Perabo-style heat. Have to get on her quickly, make her feel me...I do that consistently and I'll be alright!" Morena cool, aloof in prefight - still smarting from unexpected exit against young Candi Accola. "Piper is strong," Morena allows, "but dumb. I've been handling blondes like this my whole career: Piper won't be a problem!" Piper in white sports bra; evergreen boy leg trunks with drawstring (snug); white shoes sans socks; small white gloves; blonde hair back in scruffy battle bun. Morena in black sport top; snug red boy leg trunks with drawstring; small black mitts; black shoes with white ankle socks; close-cropped black hair.

During R1: Morena supple - hands up, elbows in - very relaxed as she slides inside with Piper. Perabo more rigid - shoulders bunched; dukes curled into hollows of her cheeks. Piper bobbing on the spot inside, thumping right/lefts off Morena's sleek midsection. Morena bobbing/sliding side to side - coming up on either Perabo shoulder and swatting her behind the elbow, or licking her cutie-pie outside-in right uppercuts. Intensity builds throughout the round - girls in constant shoulder contact either bumping or rubbing - good pounding body blows both ways, Piper's weight of shot the difference. Bell: Morena cuffs a late left hook against Piper's defenceless breasts - ref jumps in as Perabo's temper flares.

R2: Same again - Morena sliding inside with Piper; Perabo welcoming the distance. Piper bobbing up and down, bumping-off with left shoulder, looking to beat the body/arms of her foe. Morena all slick little dips, bobs and pivots - pushing a shoulder into Piper while sidestepping 'round her. Baccarin likes to execute one of the push-and-step-arounds to her right, then catch Piper the left hook in the belly...as Perabo reorients, Baccarin will trigger that cute right uppercut off the right leg, clipping Piper to chin in tight. Throughout all the cutey-pie stuff, Perabo's clouting away thick to biceps/ribs/tummy; churning away hup-hup-hup to Morena's ribcage...blonde girl pitting will against Morena's skill in a crowd-pleasing second.

R3: Same again - both girls comfortable inside - Morena looking to slide to the side; Piper more apt to bob up and down on the spot, looking to pound body directly. Baccarin's base offence is sliding to her right while leaning on Piper; cuff Piper's paunch the hook; clip Piper's chin the short-shrugging right uppercut off right foot. Morena's hands evolving to relaxed right-at-chin/left-across-gut look as she manages Piper via left shoulder. Perabo just pushing in, bobbing, banging away...Piper's head movement surprisingly effective - making Morena swish away over top at times. Piper wowing crowds when she puts thumping bursts of lefts and rights up into Morena's ribs: blonde shoulders rotating, fists churning. Chugging stuff drumming Morena's lungs, making her cranky. Bell: fighters laying in mouth on shoulder, arms a-thrashing bodies until ref moves in.

R4: Morena being cute - short right uppercuts off the right leg/shot left uppercuts off the left leg - pivoting to either side after picking Piper up. Perabo pushing-through, being the stubborn little blonde, but getting clipped: Morena working the chin nifty, then dropping down to whack body as Piper's showing earmuff. All Baccarin being silky in the pocket. She'll pick Piper up quick-trigger uppercuts, pivot to an angle; swat a right hand behind Piper's left elbow; treat Piper to another right uppercut to mouth; dip left and swat left-hook-to-liver. Perabo disheveled - hair coming out of her bun, lips parting...blonde girl getting drowsy from too many delectable brunette touches here. Down the stretch, Morena pushes in with left shoulder; sidesteps-right; cuffs the hook low to Piper's trunks; short-shrug right uppercut picks Piper's chin up at bell. Blonde girl sleepy/cranky, grimacing from low blow; feint trace of a smile on Morena's cruel lips as she turns away all velvety.

R5: Piper ups the work rate. Bobbin' and a sluggin' - Perabo lapping both hands to Morena's waistline; pushing off the brawny left shoulder; chopping and hacking both hands to Morena's head/shoulders. Sustained blonde offensive having visible effect; Morena frowning, bending/dipping/rolling in the pocket, but not answering back...too much Perabo leather. Hard working grin on blonde lips - good honest sweat on blonde brow as Piper pounds away, getting good beef on Morena's supple torso, tanned arms. Beating adds up on Morena's lats, arms...she's covering up well, but sheer pressue working Baccarin to ropes, magnifying Piper's effect. Bell: stocky blonde girl pushes up off Morena to make it crystal clear who won the round.

R6: Morena back inside, using her shoulders to rub and bump - rolling and slipping in the pocket, but Piper's not buying it. Perabo HAMMERING supple brunette hips/ribs/waist - ripping right/lefts out of the bobbing torso-action with crisp, licking delivery. Morena ashen-faced, lips parted...she's groggy, looking shabby, unable to answer the pounding. Blonde girl works brunette to ropes, then sets up brawny shove and slug: Piper grinning openly now, bending her knees as she pushes up into Morena to ragdoll her, then happily whacking Baccarin hooks to tummy/ribs. Down the stretch, Morena staring sleepily, arms crossed against body as Piper twitches across left/right face-punches to leave Baccarin spell-bound.

R7: Steady pressure breaking Morena down all around the ring...Perabo's got the solution. Blonde girl bobbing, bumping off with left shoulder, working the body muscular right/lefts. Morena gasping, eyes glassy...she's shying away, fading to ropes as Piper walks her down brawny. Bruising blonde shove-and-slug - Piper pushing off, then slamming away - laying in thick right/lefts to body, then looking to clean up short, clouting blows to head. Morena stricken, legs rubbery - elbows are in tight, fists in under her chin to protect her battered torso. Piper pounds away repeat right hands to left lats/armpit, then clubs Morena about her jawlines...brunette spilling to her right along ropes, coming undone. Withering away of stocky head-and-body shots bursts on Morena, beating past waning defences...she's out on her feet, pitching to her face as Piper keeps up the work until brunette's down. KO7, Piper Perabo in bruising fashion.

After: Splendid stuff on the heels of the Olivia Munn victory...Piper rounding into form as a blonde-to-be-reckoned-with. "It feels great to be able to track down and extinguish a sorceress like this," Piper grins in postfight. "She's slick, but her body's available if you don't buy into her snake-charmer act...I knew she couldn't absorb my punches all night long. I have what girls call 'bullies tummy' - just a solid slab of muscle at my core that makes me very hard to shift. That's pretty much what got Morena beat!" When asked about her want-list, Piper is demure, but confident. "I want a top fighter, a strong fighter. Lilly, Neve, Britney - I'd love to test that level and see if I can work my way in there. Beating Munn really got me over my confidence issues. I really think I'm ready to rumble with the best!"
