BBU IN HAMBURG GERMANY
Posted by Knowlesey on 4/15/2011, 9:44 am
The lovely Emma is looking forward to this fight with Wolke, after watching the German girls contest with Sacha Parkinson, where she seemed to run out of steam quite early and become a sitting target. Wolke is confident that she will be able to add her name to the list of girls who have knocked the lovely young English girl out.
No contest in the beauty stakes when the girls enter the ring, with Wolke in a demure blue one-piece outfit, and Emma in a white bra and panties set.
Round 1
Emma looks sharp, her jab landing frequently in Wolke's face, but the German has a good punch, and she lands some good shots to Emma's mouth and cheeks, jolting her head back, putting her on the ropes, allowing her to pummel that lovely body. Emma clinches and escapes, still jabbing, and she gets through near the end of the round with a good combination, stunning Wolke.
Tight round - too close to call.
Round 2
Wolke starts the round well, soon taking Emma to the ropes, getting some solid shots into the Brit's body, and she's got her wobbling already, switches to the head and cracks a lovely left hook into Emma's jaw, flooring her. The younger girl's up at 6, but having to clinch, wanting to dance around, but still groggy, and unable to stop Wolke taking her back to the ropes for another beating.
Wolke takes that round very easily.
Round 3
Wolke is again looking good in the early moments, easily pushing Emma around, then going for her body. But the younger girl is defending better this round, and most of Wolke's energy is wasted as her punches are blocked, or land on Emma's arms, and she's blowing before the bell.
Wolke's round, but she's using a lot of energy.
Round 4
On pours Wolke, still looking to unload to Emma's body, with the Brit leaning on the ropes, not flustered, content to allow Wolke to do all the work. The older girl is slowing down as the round draws to a close, and Emma's suddenly off the ropes, pumping out that jab, and Wolke's backpedalling, marking up around the eyes, her face becoming very red very quickly.
Emma probably nicks that round.
Round 5
Wolke starts another round well again, still trying to work to Emma's body, but the girl is shrugging her off, now snapping her left jab ever more regularly into Wolke's face, and the German is holding on as they come together. Separated by the ref, Wolke is sent backward by Emma's hard jabs, then gets caught with a couple of right hooks, her knees buckling, and she's having to clinch and spoil to see out the round.
Emma takes the fifth for sure.
Round 6
Emma is looking the keener of the girls now, her left jab definitely bothering Wolke, who is lolling against the ropes, getting her face batted back and forth, then trying to clinch and hold, but then she's taking shots to her ribs, and she looks weary, her face bruising up. The ref is parting the girls regularly, Emma bats Wolke's face, Wolke holds - it goes on til the bell.
Emma takes another round - Wolke isn't offering much.
Round 7
It's looking bleak for Wolke, who is barely off her stool when Emma lands the first punches of the round, and she's holding on, her knees turning to jelly. Emma pushes back, gets a few more shots into Wolke's face, and she drops the older girl to her knees. Wolke clambers up again, barely beating the count at 9, but that's enough - her legs have gone, and the ref stops the fight.
Emma Rigby stopped Wolke Hegenbarth in round 7.
This was an important win for Emma, who needed to show she's not a jobber. As for Wolke? The girl can punch, but she just has no stamina - she must work on her fitness
