WB Doubleheader: Main Event

Before: Winner get informal queen of the gym status at WB. Scott being put in tough but she’s got reach/height to work with, and Biel’s coming up a few pounds to fight atr lightweight--it’s risky, but Ashley supremely confident coming in: “Jessica had her chance, she can’t say she didn’t have the WB behind her, but she blew it, I’m here no, I’m where the money’s at and Jessica’s got to learn her place,” Jessica in red bikini, highlighted hair, Ashley in black lace bra, black boy cut trunks.

During R1: Scott smirking, showing the reach early--Biel bobbing, trying to navigate past Ashley’s swaying, probing left 30 seconds in, Jessica lunges, Scott picks her up with a vicious right uppercut and Biel’s hurt! Jessica staggered, shabby on the spot and she takes a withering licking as Ashley slashes away with murderous rights and lefts. Biel legging out of range, puts on a boxing clinic the rest of the way, actually victimizing an over eager Scott who runs into repeated right hand counters as she tries to close Biel out. Ashley’s round big, but Jessica surviving on strong legs and savvy ring sense, gets out of the round much better than she should have.

R2: Scott showing her own leg, lanky as she walks Biel down, then fades back onto her right foot, constantly changing up the distance, Scott’s jab tormenting Jessica--Ashley lifting it off her stomach, or chopping it down from her temple--Biel seems constantly surprised to be getting hit. Midway through, Scott with a wide left, leans in with a short right hand on the button, unhinging Biel’s legs and sending her reeling to the ropes. Better follow up for Scott this time--she goes back to the jab, dressing Biel up, then placing patient right hands, hard sidearm shots across the body, straight pokes on the chin as Jessica tries to slip and roll at the bell.

R3: Ashley hurts Jessica AGAIN! This time with a walloping overhand right off a double jab that ahs Biel mesmerized, Jessica stumbling sideways to the ropes, covering upo, bending at the waist--she’s giving it up to Ashley now. Scott smiling as she lathers away, long arms lashing across Jessi’s shiny back, or shortening up to dig underneath her ribcage. Scott brawny, palming her girl back by the shoulders, clouting her jaw line with either hand, swaying back to avoid hasty Biel counters. Jessica all polished up--she’s been hurt every single round, legs are looking shabby--Scott starting to strut.

R4,5: Scott showing some savvy/patience. Biel’s taken a good shot thus far, so Ashley fights tall, sing the ring, breaking her girl down with classy boxing outside. Scott loose and cruel with that left hand, banging it flat with backhand smacks against Biel’s bruised face, fading back, constantly luring Jessica forward. Jessica forced to come forward, make the fight--she’s constantly running the risk of meeting Scott’s cobra0quick right counter on the way in,. Ashley showboating at times, hands down, breezily batting Bie;’s punches out of the air as brunette leans away, out of reach, paint job rounds for Scott sees her go  up 5 love on the cards--Ashley’s corner up eat, party atmosphere as Biel gets work done on her face.

R6: Biel jabbing to the chest, induces that cocky leaning retreat from Scott and this time Jessica steps with. Biel firing sizzling rights and lefts as she crouches forward, missing Scott at first, then nailing her flush as Ashley steps straight back. Scott reeling to the ropes, stunned, hands down and she catches a GLORIOUS right off her face to leave her  swooning, Biel crossing her arms, using the forearms. elbows to prop Ashley back, then tearing into the leaning brunette with fearsome hooks. Biel torquing lefts with her hips, palming the right to reset Scott--Ashley with mitts loose at her mouth, getting clocked, staggering to her left. Scott soaks up a battering, sliding along the ropes, Biel stepping with and laying on the abuse. At the bell, Scott drowsy, shaky on her legs--Biel standing haughty nose to nose and shouting her contempt.

R7: Biel smells blood--mounts a series of slashing attacks in the wilting brunette, Jessi jabbing to the belly, then hooking up top, constantly catching jaw flush, pivoting to the left as Scott threatens to drop. Ashley numb, staggering forward, eyes staring--she’s on autopilot, trying to slug back, not clinching, not boxing. Biel romps through the first minute, but in the second, tide starts to change, Rocked as she is, Scott stands flat footed and manages to lick a few whippy hooks, trading punch for punch with Jessica and wearing her out. Biel starts to look shopworn, dizzy--Scott getting tremendous crank as her hooks carries through a rising arc to her right ear, tearing Biel up in the process, Down the stretch, both girls tilting, badly balanced, and Scott starts to clobber Biel. Whopping right hands on the ar send Jessica staggering to her right--that rising, Trinidadesque hook smashing across the face, sending Biel stomping back o her heels. Final moments it’s BIEL with butt in ropes, arms crossed, just leaning into the storm--Scott licking away with 2 and 3 rapacious hooks, then bending into whipping rights. Punches flow past the bell--Scott pushed back--both girls rocked, but Ashley knows she halted a Biel rally BIG time.

R8: Biel undaunted. She loses a slugging seventh, takes it in stride, comes back boxing this round, Scott showing impatience, stalking forward--Jessica working to her left, using the jab, making the tall girl give up her height, Ash repeatedly stung by straight stamping Biel right hands--Jessica just walking her foe onto the poke, making her escape before Scott can get set.

R9: Ashley responds to her corner, goes back to the jab, reaching it into Jessica’s eyebrow, and once again forcing the shorter woman to gamble Now it’s Biel trying to find ways to come forward--Ash with her weight ion the back foot, waiting to drill her opponent a keen right on the mouth. Not a lot of contact--Biel unwilling to take the risk to make the fight.

R10: Ashley’s jab once again dominant--Biel faltering back from it, trying to dance around it, come in at an angle--Scott’s just hunting her down from outside.. End of the first minute, Biel reduced to lunging and it costs her. Scott fading onto her back foot, catches Biel a clean, swiping hook on the right eye--Jessica hopping hurt onto her left foot, dropping to all fours for a delayed knockdown. Biel takes 8 and is immediately forced onto the defensive--Scott busy with a brace of jabs, backing her girl to the ropes. Pinpoint accuracy from Ashley as she pesters Jessica the stick,. Waits, waits and finally unleashes a slashing right cross that finds the chin, Head snap Biel--she leans stunned against the ropes, hands at her chest, then falls forward to all fours, barely evading a home run swipe from greedy Ashley, Jessica up for another 8 and blubbering--she knows 2 knockdowns seals this thing for Ashley. Scott content o hang back, butter her girl up with jabs, slapping, cuffing and drilling them with a variety of looks--Biel disconsolate, hanging back, just blocking, no longer trying to win. Comes back UD10 by wide margin, Ashley Scott.

After: Scott’s ascension continues, beating up a top ten type name , but showing some form breaks that have to be addressed. “She never should have caught me,” Scott says of dicey 6th and 7th rounds that saw Biel land dangerous leather. “Obviously she couldn’t hurt me, but that fight should have been a shutout for me and I let her win rounds. I’m my own harshest critic--when I’m not totally and utterly dominant,  I feel like I’ve failed. I give myself a C+ for the way I handled Jessica.” Biel’s left eye swollen shut, face a bruised ruin--if that’s a C+, pray we don’t see an A beating from Scott.
