Before: Moynahan this years Janssen, same long lines, high cheekbones, rangy build, just younger chassis, Famke knows she can’t lose to Bridget when the latter’s being promoted as the new improved model of the lanky boxer/puncher--Bridget also cognizant of the need to take market share away from Famke. Both girls boxer/punchers, but Janssen the much more proven commodity. Maybe too proven in Bridget’s eyes: “Anyone who saw Fame after Peta Wilson got through with her knows Janssen’s damaged goods, After I’M done, Famke’ll be ready for the celebrity golf tour.” Janssen in white push up, red stretch pants tight to the ankle, black hair up--Bridget in pale blue bra, navy stretch pants tight to the ankle. Small work out gloves for both.

During R1: Girls hop to midring, immediately get to spraying each the with jabs, Body and head, stiff sticking, but Famke’s lefts are pulverizing upon impact and she’s issuing chin-checks with a choppy right hand on top. Bridget forced back to the ropes and wilting under straight, sustaining Janssen pressure. Moynahan breaking down--end of the first minute, the same blunt right hand that’s been chopping her jaw from the opening bell un hinges Bridgy’s knees--she slumps into the ropes, hands on face, elbows in, hurt. Janssen gets brawny. She bangs away Charlie Brewster style at the flanks, shaking Bridget on the spot, then props her with the left forearm, Famke slipping the thumb of her left glove into the back on Bridget’s trunk tug, while picking her up tough with rigid right uppercuts, Moynahan sputtering, not answering back--Janssen squares away and goes to the breadbasket with ripping, jagged lefts and rights--small gloves making a thick, wet SNACK! SNACK! Noise upon impact as Moynahan stiffens. it’s all too much for Bridget--end of the second minute, she collapses to all fours shuddering in pain, left nursing a battered ribcage, right plaintive on the middle rope--she’s not getting up. Punishing KO1 Famke Janssen.

After: Janssen strutting, smiling that toothy smile in post fight, making a great show of brushing off her hands to signify a job well done, Bridget just too fragile--just because you’re built like Famke Janssen, and you look good in the poster with her. Doesn’t mean  you’re ready to trade with her.
