Before: Leann Rimes looks to mug another cutey, coming in much fuller bodied than Rachael, but Cook not worried. “Leann can’t fight,” cook says confidently in pre-fight. “Not even a lit bit, Look at her body--she’s just fat, that’s all. She’s like a little butterbean--yeah--butterbean!” Rimes enraged by the nickname as Cook won’t let it go, and an otherwise obscure undercard gets a little coverage as a result. Rimes in light blue adidas terrycloth trunks, white sports bra, Rachael in red aerobics two piece, high neck top.

During R1-3: Rachael makes good on her prediction early, jumping out to a 3-love lead behind nifty footwork and excellent upper body movement. Rimes left swinging at air, isn’t getting close enough to the brunette, and Cook able to work like a surgeon, dragging her fists onto Rimes’ from the outside, and scoring point if not necessarily hurting Leann Rimes unable to cut off the ring, and getting frustrated as Cook taunts her throughout.

R4: Rimes finally answers technique with fury, tackling the smallish brunette to the ropes, holding her with the left and clouting her hard across the face with a series of clubbing right hands. Cook bludgeoned into compliance, sits on the ropes, huddled over giving up her flanks to Rimes who bashes away at ribs and hips with gusto. big bruising round for Leann as she gives Cook a contemptuous shove at the bell.

R5: More competitive round as both girls get things done. Cook circling, potshot ting, but Rimes walking through the jab to bash away at the ribs. Cook a little more active down the stretch, has Leann missing over the top while countering effectively to the blonde’s mouth with chopping right.

R6: Cook stepping backwards, walks Rimes into spanking wide lefts and rights, and Leanne goes wobbly butt as Rachael puts every ounce of her little body into these powershots. Rimes busted up over the left eye, and down the stretch, Cook able to target the cut with curling overhand rights to create an awful gash by the bell.

R7: Rachael pawing at Leann’s eye with the jab, taunting Rimes with “It’s bad bay! They’re gonna stop it any second now!” Rimes grimly coming forward, hands low, head spanking backwards as she sells out to try to corner Cook without success.

R8: Rimes convinces officials to allow the fight to continue, and she comes out with the crossed arm defense to cut down the ring, Working Rachael to a corner with beefy to the midsection, Rimes sets up in front of cook, putting heavy mitts against the bony brunette ribs and little arms, and Rachael begins to wilt. Down the stretch, a rising right to the pit of the stomach has Cook gasping, nearly going down as she clinches for dear life.

R9: Rimes storming out of her corner, bulls Rachael to the corner for another sustained beating. That little body just can’t take the leather as Cook trembles from abuse while Rimes works her over with ceaseless lefts and rights in side to side action. Midway through the round, Cook takes a knee as Rimes steps back with a look of deep satisfaction.

R10: All Leann Rimes as badly battered Rachael Leigh is bullied once again to a waiting turnbuckle. Rimes putting the body on her foe, pulling back to rip right uppercuts underneath the breasts, or twisting into wide left hooks in behind Cook’s elbow. Rachael swooning, blubbering, can’t get her butt off the turnbuckle as Rimes indulges in shove and slug from bell to bell. Midway through the round, Rimes working with methodical lefts and rights to the gut, drops  Rachael to all fours once again. Rimes shouting incoherently, pumps herself up and gives Rachael a withering beating to the end. Cook dazed and battered wanders the ring in shock as the fight is called a draw.

After: Rimes chewing up Rachael’s lead with an heroic final 3 rounds is the people’s winner as the crowd roundly boos the scoring. Size a factor late as Cook’s body just couldn’t take the beating, and Rimes able to exert her will to dominate late.
