Before: Special guest commentator and common opponent Dani Fishel gives her thoughts ringside: “I’m not surprised Michelle’s done as well as she has at bantam,” Dani acknowledges. “She’s fought handpicked girls--girls could easily and girls she could hurt--but she’s also been rough, tough and smart. I’ll tell you this, Jennifer Connelly better get off her high horse and treat Mish with some respect tonight, because I’m here to tell you: Mish can rough Jen up, Mish can outwork Jen inside and Mish can stop Jen with right hands if Connelly lets her. Jen thinks she’s too classy for Williams-but if Mish hurt Jen? Connelly hasn’t been in with too many girls who go for the jugular like Michelle. Jen needs to box, stay patient, and make Michelle pay for any mistakes. I like Connelly I this fight, but like I said: she better not be underestimating Williams, or Jen’s gonna get embarrassed!” Jen in leopard print bikini--curly hair up in messy battle bun--small black work out gloves. Mish in black lace push up and panties--white lave trim; curls in messy battle bun; small black work out gloves.

During R1: Jen plays matadora--sidestepping and turning mid ring as Mish barrels in. Connelly jabbing directly onto Michelle’s forehead, or pushing Williams; head down while stepping ‘round--Connelly simply negotiating distance, not concerned with mixing it up. Mish all jugs-a-jumpin’--storming and stomping aound the ring to little effect in the first.

R2: Mish fine tunes her charges, head butting Jen in the tits and tackling Connelly up around the butticks to finally stampede her to ropes, Jen pursing her lips, pushing heels of her hands down on Mish--Williams brawling through it: sloppy slugging work at the apron as Mish wants to clobber, Jen wants to deny. Williams pushing into Jen to destabilize bigger woman--head-grinding on Jen--shouldering Jen--Williams mauling and smothering before swinging away pell mell to thighs, crotch, hips, tummy, breasts. Jennifer grimacing, usually able to tie up after little blonde jailbreaks--sweaty work as the girls push and pull in close. Mish drawing warnings for all of it--head, elbows, low blows--but ref pretty indulgent here, rarely pulling blonde off her girl: Jen forced to manage pressure with her back to ropes bell to bell.

R3: Jen pinging jabs off Mishy’s forehead, stepping right as Williams hurtles forward: Connelly drops her first serious right hand, catching Mishy’s temple and staggering blonde all wobbly butt. Mish shakes her head to clear it, goes back on the attack--Jen either using the left to jab, or push Mishy’s head down to aid in the sidesteps. Connelly’s ring management better this round--Mish can’t close pays a high price for trying as Jen works safely behind her jab.

R4: Mish continues to bull forward, trying to kick in the font door: Jennifer circling, sidestepping, vexing from outside. Williams clearly frustrated--unable to drive Jen to ropes, blonde is gambling on wide swings to the head, coming up well shoirt. Jen’s jab tracing Mishy’s face with impunity, setting up clean, shafting rights, and midway through, Jen’s finishing tart hooks. Small mitts bouncing off Mishy’s face and skull--Connelly extending on shots, twisting into ‘em, circling away: tall girl starting to dictate as Williams busts up through 4.

R5: Mish battling her way up hill, eating jabs and right crosses as she bobs, weaves, crouches her way forward. Williams not shut out--after being picked over on the approach, she’s swinging away to Jennifer’s ribcage and ears, trying to concuss the bigger woman--Jen immediately legging out after the first spanking contact to deny extended exchanges, That’s the rhythm of it--Mish fighting hard just to get in range for a few swings--Jen getting the majority of touches, refusing to give up her height to brawl with the little juggernaut.

R6: Jen really lighting Mish up now--HARD right crosses slanting down off face; curling left hooks and uppercuts taking Mish on her face or breasts. Jabs constantly shafting into the face or ear as Jen steps right, keeping her limbs extended, obliging Mish to pay for real estate. Williams’ eyes puffy--she’s breathing hard, but still belligerent--constantly pushing forward until she can get off with confidence . Jen standing in for a few more body whacks--answering with hooks to Michelle’s sternum and breasts, pushing the left shoulder into Mishy to nudge her back after hot contact. Williams getting banged up in the exchanges, rocking back on her heels as Jen scores heavily this round.

R7: Mish stumbling forward at the trudge--taking big bantamweight punches now and breaking down at the end of Jen’s poke. Connelly heartless, going about her business--sidestepping while jabbing or pushing down on Mishy’s head (drawing warnings). Dropping right hands, finishing hooks. Jen bouncing her mitts off Mishy’s skull while circling: very patient bombardment off pivoting footwork. Williams facing groggily into hurt now--arms crossed, cute features smudged with hurt: she’s being picked apart, too shabby now to deny Jen. Connelly loose and relaxed outside--drilling in lead right hands and doubling them on occasion, pulling hooks across while shifting to her back (right) foot, or leaning onto front (left) foot or bury her hook in Michelle’s ribcage, Williams badly battered--takes about a minute and a half of withering fire before sinking woozily to one knee. She’s up at 8, but stumbling badly: ref stops the fight with a parental waving  of his arms and concerned expression. TKO7 Jennifer Connelly.

After: Jen cruising past, looking Mish over satisfaction: little bully just couldn’t get herself into range often up to make this a thing a rough-house. Williams puffy and sore, looking dazed and contrite: equations laid down by a tall, quality bantam -proved awfully difficult to solve tonight. “I’m sorry to disappoint Dani,” Jenny smirks in post fight, “ but I couldn’t allow Michelle to continue her rampage through my division, She was much easier for me to find than Claire was--always right at the end of my punches. She’s not strong so much as she is energetic--when she does get on top of you, she’s very difficult to dislodge, so it’s important to keep your distance. I just boxed the girl, took her apart with my jab, then broke her down from there.”
