This match has been made at flyweight, but it looks to all at ringside as though Freema is a full bantamweight tonight, and when the girls meet in centre ring, she looks to have quite a weight advantage over the svelte Australian. If Freema punches her weight, Emilie is in for a hard night.

Freema is wearing a stunning white one-piece outfit for this match, with Emilie favouring a yellow and green bikini.

Round 1

She may not have the muscle to match Freema, but Emilie has bags of confidence, and starts the fight whirling away, backing Freema up against the ropes, outworking the Brit right from the bell. Freema looks confused, agitated even, and she is taking some useful shots from the little Aussie in this opening round.

Emilie takes the first round.

Round 2

The second round takes the same pattern as the first, with a busy little Emilie working hard, on her toes, dancing and jabbing, keeping the almost sluggish Freema right on the back foot. The Brit seems to be looking for a big punch to slow her opponent down, but she isn’t getting in anywhere near close enough to land anything at this stage, as the little Aussie continues to dominate.

Second round to Emilie.

Round 3

It’s another day at the office for Emilie, as she carries on jabbing and moving, none of her punches hard enough to hurt Freema, but she’s landing enough of them to be bossing this fight. Even as de Ravin tires in the second half of the round, she’s still looking too quick for the heavier, slower Agyeman, who isn’t used to being outpaced by her opponent, and she’s getting frustrated and irritable.

Third round on the bounce to Emilie

Round 4

Now Emilie is beginning to tire, and Freema’s bumping and slugging, the bigger girl’s power taking it’s toll immediately, and she’s starting to land solid hooks to the Aussie’s body and head. De Ravin is clearly hurt, getting knocked about in this round by heavy shots, her face now red and looking concerned as she takes big hits from both of Freema’s hands.

Freema gets a big round back.

Round 5

Now the powerful Freema starts a round by bashing away at the weakened De Ravin, moving the girl around the ring, really hurting her with those crashing bodyshots. The Brit has too much power for the little Aussie, and midway through the round she has De Ravin helpless on the ropes, and she’s giving the girl a real beating in there, ripping her head back and forth – she can’t continue, and the ref steps in to stop this brutal battering.

Freema Agyeman stopped Emilie de Ravin in round 5.

That was a strange fight – Emilie showed so much craft and skill, but it’s tough for a little flyweight to match up to a girl who surely cannot have really made the weight for this one – Freema’s got to move up to bantam!

After the fight she announces, “I saw Billie Piper around the ring earlier! Piper! Let’s have a rematch – this time I’ll smash those buckteeth of yours right down your scummy throat!”
