BEFORE:

"Ashlee made herself a bit of a name by beating me," Jamie Lynn says with a shake of the head that sends her ponytail swishing. "Some people said she got lucky. Well, that's not true. She beat me. She was better that night. But, tonight will be a different story. It needs to be a different story. I'm ready for the next level, but, to get there, I have to put Ashlee Simpson behind me. That happens tonight."

"Jamie Lynn is overrated, period," Ashlee says with a smirk. "She wouldn't even BE here if it weren't for her sister. And, yeah, you could say that about me, too. But, I beat her when we fought, and still she's ranked ahead of me? And she keeps getting fights even though I've had exactly one since I beat her? And everyone says it was a fluke? Well, it wasn't. I'm better than she is. And I'll prove it again tonight. Then, maybe I'll start getting some respect around here!"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Ashlee headed down the aisle now Mac to her own song, 'La La'..."

McCarthy: "She sings as well as she fights...in other words, she sucks at both!"

O'Dell: "And there's the familiar 'Follow Me' and here comes Jamie Lynn. The normal smile not there, Mac. She's all business tonight."

McCarthy: "Well, if there's one fighter I like in the Weirdo's stable, and there's EXACTLY one...I RESPECT Torv, but 'LIKE' is a strong word, it's Brit's kid sister. She's got a lot of talent and she's got a great attitude."

O'Dell: "And, we're ready to go with round one and Jamie Lynn right after Ashlee looking to trade in the middle of the ring."

McCarthy: "The kid remembers the first fight when Simpson kept jabbing and running and got the win that way."

O'Dell: "The two flys both landing some here and...JAMIE LYNN IS HURT! She got caught a hard right hand there. Ashlee following up with lefts and rights. Spears covering up and now fires back. Jamie Lynn backing Ashlee up a bit here and Ashlee now gettring off with the jab. Jamie Lynn hooking to the ribs as this one ends, and that's Simpson's round off the early right hand."

McCarthy: "Check the replay here and you'll see what Ashlee does. She actually SUCKERS Jamie Lynn with a jab step. Watch the left foot. She take a quick jab forward with it and Jamie Lynn and cocks the left hand. Jamie Lynn reacts with a circling step to her right and Ashlee lets the right hand go. Catches Spears on the jaw and shakes her. Simpson then scores enough to win the round before Jamie Lynn recovers."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Back to live action and Jamie Lynn showing a bit more caution here. Bobbing the head. Looking to box a little rather than land the big punch. Ashlee circling, trying to keep away from Jamie Lynn's power and..."

McCarthy: "RIGHT HAND AGAIN ASHLEE! Same thing!"

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn hurt again and Ashlee ringing her up lefts and rights. Spears forced back into the ropes. Stabilizes, goes back to the body. Scoring pretty well with a combination here. Simpson bouncing away and jabbing at the bell, and that's another round to Ashlee."

McCarthy: "Watch this replay, and, honest to goodness it's from round two and not round one. Jab step. Jamie Lynn takes a step left. Simpson rocks her with a follow-up right. Didn't they teach this kid ANYthing at Front Street?"

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back at it in the third and the two girls again busy, willing to exchange. Ashlee getting off first here. Jamie Lynn firing back, but it's one-punch stuff. Simpson moving, jabbing more. Jamie Lynn a little of balance as Ashlee's in position to bookend the exchanges..."

McCarthy: "Spears is being too tentative now. Ashlee's got her confused with that footwork, and now Jamier Lynn doesn't want to follow up and put punches together. She's too worried about that answering right."

O'Dell: "But it's the Simpson left that's scoring the points as the round ends. Good, crisp jab and circle stuff and Simpson's built herself a lead through three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Spears right back at Simpson here in the fourth. Jamie Lynn circling right now, away from Ashlee's right hand. Locating Simpson with the jab, scoring with it. Pentrating with a nice right hook there. Ashlee getting out of dodge, trying to maintain distance. Jamie Lynn hooking hard downstairs..."

McCarthy: "This is what the kid wants to do. She's got the edge in power here. Work that body. Wear Simpson down."

O'Dell: "There's a left to the kidney and a big right to the chin! SIMPSON'S HURT! Ashlee wobbles away as Jamie Lynn pursues. Simpson snapping out a jab, Jamie Lynn walking through, digging one into the ribs. And that's the round. Shutout Jamie Lynn Spears."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Moving on to the fifth and a much more cautious Ashlee here. Simpson wants to jab and move. Doesn't want to engage. Jamie Lynn forcing the pace, walking the older woman down. Simpson showing leg, getting away before the exchanges get too heated..."

McCarthy: "This is JUST what Spears wants to do. She's scoring. She's got Ashlee fighting off her back foot..."

O'Dell: "Ashlee jabbing somewhat effectively, but Jamie Lynn walking through it, hooking to the body, forcing Ashlee away. That's it for the fifth, and that's Spears' round."

Conc: "Too Much Little Sister Angst for One Post"

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Round six begins and again Jamie Lynn forcing the pace. Ashlee sticking around now, answering back with some right hands! Jamie Lynn firing right back to the head and body. Wow! Some real exchanging going on in there, Mac!"

McCarthy: "This favors Spears! She's the harder hitter. She's eventually going to get the better of this unless...OH NO!"

O'Dell: "Simpson nails the right hand and Spears is hurt again! Ashlee going all in here, landing rights and lefts. Spears wobbly. Covering up. Hanging on. The round comes to an end and Simpson's got it on the late surge."

McCarthy: "Cue up that one or either of the other two. They're all the same...here's the replay of the big punch Jenny...and there it is. Jab step. Spears takes a step left. Right hand. Do you think those two geniuses in the Front Street corner might want to tell this kid to STOP CIRCLING LEFT?"

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn looking to answer back here, just like her stablemate K-Stew did earlier. She's stalking Ashlee, getting off with hooks to the body. Working that guard down and then hooking to the head. Ashlee not anxious to exchange here. Legging away. Slapping out jabs that Jamie Lynn walks through. Spears pressuring. Back to the body. Solid hook to the head right there. Bell going to sound. That's the seventh and that's Jamie Lynn."

McCarthy: "This fight is here for Spears to take. I've got her down one point, and the only rounds Simpson has won have been the ones where she's hurt Jamie Lynn off that jab step. That last round was the blueprinrt Spears should have bee using for the first 16 she fought against Ashlee. Do that, and Simpson's got no chance."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn back to stalking. Ashlee looking to circle and jab...AND SHE BUCKLED SPEARS' KNEES WITH THAT RIGHT HAND! Jamie Lynn is hurt, covering up as Ashlee goes to work. Simpson busy here. Sticking and moving, working the head and body. Jamie Lynn starts to fire back now. Simpson dancing away as Spears stabilizes. Jamie Lynn back to pursuit as Ashlee legs away, snapping out jabs at the end of round eight and another win for Ashlee Simpson."

McCarthy: "The kid just isn't adjusting here. She got suckered again. She's just continuing to fall into the same trap. Simpson's been a one-trick pony, but the trick is winning her this fight."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Give Spears credit, she's right back at Ashlee as the ninth starts, looking to land a big one and take Simpson out of here."

McCarthy: "And that may be part of the problem. She remembers last time when Ashlee stole rounds dancing and boxing and she figures she needs a knockout. She DOESN'T. She needs rounds like the seventh."

O'Dell: "RIGHT HAND SIMPSON AGAIN! Spears hurt yet again off that same feint! Ashlee getting busy now, banging away as a groggy Jamie Lynn covers up and tries to answer. Round nine comes to an end and Ashlee Simpson is about to upset Jamie Lynn Spears again."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Jamie Lynn's got to be all in as we get underway in the tenth. She'll probably need a knockout to win. Ashlee is on her bicycle just like the final round of their first fight, looking to stay away from Jamie Lynn's power. Spears pursuing and...ASHLEE TAGS HER AGAIN! Jamie Lynn hurt. Simpson now going after her, banging away as Jamie Lynn wobbles back into the ropes. Simpson looking to end things dramatically here, hammering away. Jamie Lynn gutting it out, won't go down, but, as the bell rings, it's not going to matter."

McCarthy: "Kid just broke down in her corner. She's absolutely heartbroken here. And, I get it. She was banking a lot on winning this fight. This is a real setback. Gutty performance. Wouldn't go. But she kept falling for the same thing all night. I suspect the Weirdo, even as dumb as he is, got the same impression from this that I did. The kid has talent, but she's not ready for the next level. You want to be a factor in the flyweight division, you can't lose to Ashlee Simpson."

O'Dell: "Well, I'm not sure what Wiz is thinking, but I can tell you that he walked out of the arena as soon as the bell rang. Read what you want into that..."

McCarthy: "I wouldn't want to be Jewel or Neve tomorrow. They may both be looking for jobs. Wouldn't break MY heart. Maybe they can come be my sparring partners atSceej."

AFTER:

McCarthy: "Decision announced, Simpson 97-93. And let's go up to Jenny in the ring."

O'Dell: "Ashlee, I..."

Ashlee: "I TOLD you! I TOLD you she's overrated and I'm UNDERRATED. You all said last time was a fluke. Well, how about tonight? Give me one more round, I'd have knocked her *ss OUT! She's DONE! I exposed her. Finished her. And I hope all the managers out there saw that. Ashlee Simpson is for REAL. And I'm not going away!"
