BEFORE: Rebeccah's supermodel royalty - on the cusp of legit Great Blonde status...can Ryan cope with such American quality? "Without a doubt!" Ryan grins combatively in prefight. "Romijn is a tree to be chopped down, nothing more. I have the quality to match her, I have the strength, but more importantly I have the spirit. Rebecca Romijn will not stand - I promise you!" Romijn unimpressed, treating Michelle like a scullery maid at most FCBA functions. "I'm looking at Brooklyn Decker on the horizon," Becky explains, "Michelle Ryan is here to take punches, keep me in tune, and stroke my ego with her cries! The kid's a typical British tomato can: I'll bust her up, send her packing - easy!" Rebecca in baby blue cotton tank with thin straps; navy blue sport bikini; white gloves; hair in golden ringlets loose. Ryan in yellow sport top; black sport bikini bottoms; black gloves; black hair loose, wild.

During R1: Romijn being tall, using her jab, rotating clockwise. Michelle outside, bobbing and weaving...very difficult for brunette to negotiate range as blonde girl marks territory midring. Not much power - Becky at one point burying a satisfying left hook in Michelle's paunch when Ryan's ducking forward in earmuff.

R2: Becky more aggressive now - stepping in the jab, getting closer to Michelle - blonde with arms held akimbo for close-range slugging duty. Ripping stuff from Romijn...elbows out to either side, she's slamming rights behind Michelle's left elbow; finding Michelle's chin via curling uppercuts; clouting Michelle sweeping rights upside the head when Ryan's backing out. Ryan getting clobbered - eyes bleak, face uncertain...thudding assortment of crook-armed blonde power punches beats Michelle to bended knee midway through. Ryan beats the count, looking frazzled: spends the rest of the round on the run, getting walked down and pounded by a rangy, confident blonde.

R3: Same again - Becky's jab slamming into Michelle's face or chest, freezing her: blonde girl able to step close, slug with arms akimbo - really sloshing it to Ryan here. Michelle battered in random wanderings about the ring...she's a confused beauty, showing earmuff, showing crossed-arm as she absorbs a thumping. Midway through it all adds up again: Ryan sinking to bended knee, face pinched in hurt...Romijn brightening, prancing to neutral corner as weary Brit takes another 8.

R4: A more competitive, two-way round...Michelle jabbed heavily about her head and shoulders as she weaving forward, but once in, she's engaging with clubbing lefts and rights, punching with Romijn until girls fall in, tie up. Stop and go slugging - ref working up a sweat pushing big-bodied sluggers apart after each collision.

R5: Nothing fancy - Michelle coming forward - using her left as a kind of prod to work her way forward, then burying the right into Becky's ribs to begin the slugging party inside. Blonde girl on her heels more, tying up more...Rebecca frowning, mouthbreathing as time and again, Michelle walks her to ropes for ref's breaks. Down the stretch, Ryan just working hard inside, fighting her way past Becky's arms - clubbing lefts and rights land to jaw, stunning Becky, draping her blinking against ropes at bell!

R6: Becky buckles down - eyes hard as she steps into her jab, really jolting brunette to face. Stalking pressure from Becky - off the jab, she'll shove a mean left uppercut to Michelle's body, or lean in close to swing in the wide right to ribs. Fighting chest to chest, blonde girl tightens up stroke by holding arms akimbo...her chin's available for short-chop counters, but Becky generating slinging, crashing power as she comes forward, fists tracing out curling arcs onto her brunette.

R7: Just a fight now - Michelle weaving past Becky's thudding poke - using the left to locate blonde, then bending in righty. Stop-and-go collisions result - girls tying up after each encounter - ref pushing bodies apart. Midway through - Michelle edging inside, short, muscular right jams onto Becky's chin as girls compress, then BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Becky's right leg gives way - tipping her to knee, then pitching her to face with butt up high. RYAN: "RIGHT!" Becky: glassy eyed as she struggles up off canvas, reeling at ropes for her 8. Final minute a brawny Michelle Ryan showcase - she's forcing herself on Becky, fighting of supermodel chest, chopping and hacking away on all things Romijn until bell.

R8: Becky stalling Michelle's aggression out on the end of long jab and landing a BOOMING right flat to chin that has Ryan stepping in fence post holes. Becky stepping in close, arms akimbo: that thick, clobbering assortment of punches blankets Michelle, beating her stupid. Ryan keeps her feet, but she's damaged goods, stumbling around, getting pushed about as Becky walks her down slugging.

R9,10: Becky gets tactical - setting up strong and tall, pumping the jab/keeping her distance, forcing Michelle to work her way in. Heartbreaking stuff for Michelle...she's so tired and hurt...very slow/groggy on approach as she tries to weave her way inside, only to be hit hard and kept outside. Mostly the jab from Becky, but a sideswiping, right roundhouse also clapping hard across Michelle's paunch - complemented at times with a dip-and-dig left uppercut to body as well. Becky using her strength as well, palming Michelle's shoulders to push her off...Ryan all beat up, very shabby, but very determined - she keeps coming forward despite the heavy pounding on approach. Comes back UD10 Rebecca Romijn.

After: Michelle proving her toughness, but it's a pretty good beating for her down the stretch...Becky all smiles in postfight. "I basically had my way," Romijn explains. "She was tough through the middle, but I loosened her up...once she saw that I was determined to hurt her, she really wilted. I broke the kid - I want to say with body shots early, but I was landing everything, so it's hard to say...most of the fight was mop up for me!"
