Before: When I got called for this fight I was like ‘Hell yeah!’ I had just been dropped by Front St and I wanted some serious payback. I knew none of The Wiz’ welters would ‘man up’, that would have been just too perfect. Nothing against Moon, she’s a good girl, but she’s with Bazz. The next best thing to taking down a Front St girl is beating up one of The Wiz’ buddy’s welters.” Laura Prepon growls still smarting from her recent dismissal. “Hey if I’d gone through what Laura got I’d be pissed too. Who knows maybe it can fuel her back into contention, unfortunately just not against me.” Moon shrugs the drama off. Prepon in red sports bra and bikini bottoms that match her hair. Bloodgood in Gaultier leather, bikini top and thong bottom which has the crowd in an uproar. Both fighters wearing their hair long and loose.

Rd 1 Prepon out with a purpose jabbing at Bloodgood who dodges away on light feet. Prepon holds her ground attempting to throw bombs from her fortress, legs planted firmly on the canvas. Bloodgood brushing away most of the jabs but a few get through frustrating the long haired brunette early. Bloodgood seemingly satisfied to prowl on the outskirts of the fray barely throwing a punch.

Rd 2 Bloodgood gets going right off the bat. She lands a couple of jobs to Prepon’s midsection and jugs. Big Red retreats but throws punches on the way and connecting with a few. Bloodgood starts the chase going after her opponent with her long reach and then closing in with some closer bodyshots. Meanwhile Prepon staying strategic landing punches whenever possible and scoring points with the judges. So far the redhead has used distance to rack up favor with the judges.

Rd 3 Bloodgood still pursuing while Prepon continues to counter with her combinations. Both fighters moving smoothly around the ring and they each take advantage of openings in the other’s defense. Suddenly Laura breaks through with a huge right to the jaw. Bloodgood stunned and suddenly retreating when another right rocks her world that sends her to the ropes. Big Red moves Moon off the ropes with some powerful punches to the body. Bloodgood wobbling all over the place, her powerful legs the only thing keeping her off the canvas. Prepon can’t get through Bloodgood’s arms covering up her face so she lowers her target of choice working on the gut. Moon stays tough as the bell sounds.

Rd 4 Bloodgood comes out jabbing. She’s succeeding in landing blows to Prepon’s head whose own jabs are suddenly ineffective. Moon follows up her jabs with power shots to the inside as Prepon’s defenses start to weaken. Both girls are using short chopping punches in between clinches which are getting more and more frequent. Bloodgood uses her strength and starts to push Prepon around the ting. She lands more punches to the inside as she basically out works Laura throughout the round.

Rd 5 More of the same as Bloodgood begins to outwrestle Prepon, obviously the stronger girl. Big Red getting hit in close with uppercuts to the gut, jugs and chin. Occasional breaks allow Bloodgood to separate and load up with some wide swings into Prepon’s body. It’s becoming readily apparent that there is a difference in conditioning. Bloodgood up tall and bouncing about the ring while Prepon is content to throw short punches in close where a clinch is always available to save her strength. The ref pushes them apart allowing Bloodgood to work with her jab and combinations.

Rd 6 Bloodgood comes out loaded for bear. She tags Prepon’s gut and jugs at will while Big Red tries to cover up along the ropes. The tall brunette bounces punches off of Prepon’s arms as she attempts to clean up with wide, powerful swings. Prepon winces and doubles over as one of Bloodgood’s bombs connects to her side. Bloodgood looking for the knockout punch pops Prepon several times to the head. Big Red moving like a zombie around the ring as Bloodgood has her way with a vicious flurry. Prepon catches a cross to the chin and it’s BIG RED DOWN. Prepon crawling around looking for something on the canvas as the ref starts his count. She’s up at the count of eight as the bell rings.

Rd 7 Moon straight back to work on Big Red. She’s got the sultry welter backed up against the ropes again and is swinging away. Prepon only occasionally swinging back at the fighter with the long brown hair which is now flying loose about the ring as she swings away on the slouching redhead. Prepon’s cover up seems effective as it’s the only thing keeping her up at the moment.

Rd 8 The round starts out with the best of intentions for Prepon who tries to punch with Bloodgood but the round ends up the same as the previous one. Moon is just dominating the fight now getting done whatever she wants with the exception of a knock out. Prepon is still hanging on desperately against the ropes grabbing at Moon’s arms and head trying to steer her and slow her down as best she can. It does little good as Bloodgood continues to work her over at will. Big Red seems to be on automatic pilot as Bloodgood pummels away.

Rd 9 Both fighters get to the center of the ring with Prepon throwing several sluggish jabs before Bloodgood has her in trouble again. Big Red takes up residence in her familiar spot for the past three rounds against the ropes. Bloodgood effective with short blasts from both hands. Prepon doing her best to cover up but it’s just not working anymore as Bloodgood is pouring it on. She’s up to a furious pace tagging Prepon in the chest and head until the redhead seems to collapse against the ropes. Bloodgood backs off and turns to the ref who is already on his way in covering up the sleepy Big Red from the marauding Moon.

After: Moon meets Prepon at mid ring and puts an arm around her. She whispers something into the Big Redhead’s ear and then gives her a reassuring slap on the back. Laura nods her head and gives Moon a pat back on her shoulder. With the reporters Bloodgood gives her statement. “I didn’t think that she was going to go out. I knew I had her back in the fifth but she just wouldn’t go. Laura is very good at protecting herself and one very tough individual so it was a hard slog all throughout. I’ve got to give her credit. She’s been through a lot and she’s shown a lot of class through it all. She can workout at Bazz anytime.”
