BEFORE: Diaz at play in first photoshoot, going over Adrianne with magnifying glass in search of talent...Cammie playing the 'big celebrity' card hard and heavy in prefight. "Wall. Of. Talent." Diaz says at podium, reminding one and all of her brand. "That's what Adrianne's up against. Yes, she's big and rangy; yes she hits hard, but lets get real...a Wall of Talent's coming at Adrianne in this fight and the poor kid just doesn't have a clue as to how to handle it." Pallicki refusing to be intimidated or baited by Cam's muckraking stand-up. "I do agree it's Cam's talent against my power," Pallicki allows in prefight, "but it's not like I don't HAVE talent. I've got the talent to get right hands on Cameron Diaz, I promise you that - and when I do, we'll see how she handles it. I'm comfortable being an underdog if that's how you guys want to write it up, but don't make me a sacrificial lamb, 'cause I promise you: this lamb punches back!" Diaz twisting to her left, legs stiff as she crashes to her back...champ's eyelashes fluttering, lips parted...it's over! KO1 in thunderclap fashion, for the winner and NEW lightweight champ...Adrianne Pallicki!

After: Diaz eventually brought round...she's swooning in her corner, groggily lobbying BLONDE! Magazine to get her an immediate rematch...but the bulk of the press crowds round the new queen. "It all happened so fast - I don't really know what to say!" Adrianne grins in postfight. "We knew we could hurt her, but the plan called for a heavy body attack early to cripple her legs...I didn't even have time to LOOK at her ribs, she went out so quick. I think it was my range, you know? She thought she had enough distance, but with my length, I have terrific canvas-coverage, and I was able to reach her. Looks like the 'Wall' came tumbling down, hey? I've knocked some girls out before, but I turned Cameron into a steaming pile of blonde rubble tonight
