The first bout sees the debut of Hannah Tointon, Kara's younger sister, who is taking on the experienced Nikki Sanderson. Nikki has suffered a couple of painful defeats recently, but is looking forward to this fight, although she knows that, like her sister, Hannah is a southpaw.

Once again, this fight has a Coronation Street v Hollyoaks edge about it, Nikki having been in the former, and Hannah in the latter Hannah has also antagonised Nikki by describing her as 'a glorified stripper' because of the amount of glamour shoots she has been involved in.

Nikki is first into the ring, happy to be fighting in her home town, and the local lads certainly give the shpaely red bkini clad actress their full vocal support. The younger Hannah has opted for a more demure black one-piece for her debut fight.

Round 1

Neither girl seems to want to show much commitment in the opening exchanges, both content to prod out their leading jabs, Hannah goading Nikki, mouthing the word 'stripper' at her, until the older girl loses her cool, lands a good left to Hannah's mouth, swings with her right, but misses. Now Hannah sees her chance, cuffing Nikki quickly to both ears, turning the girl around, she then plants her on the ropes and rips left, right, left into the belly, then, as Nikki slumps forwards, she hooks her to the jaw, sending the older girl to the canvas. A dazed Nikki is on her feet at 6, and somehow gets through the round.

Hannah takes the first round

Round 2

Nikki's loss of temper cost her in the first, so she needs to be careful now, with a grinning Hannah still goading her verbally, and landing some crisp right jabs to Nikki's face, but she'll need to follow up if she's to press home any advantage. Now Nikki starts to fight properly, bumping some good shots into Hannah's body to start with, then wiping the smile off her face with a quick left right to the mouth. As the round progresses, Hannah is backing off more and more, with Nikki hurting her around the body.

Round 3

Gaining in confidence, Nikki is beginning to land flurries of punches to Hannah's face - nothing too hard, but enough to back the younger girl up to the ropes, where she gives that body a bit of a thumping, slowly bringing her guard down. Hannah simply doesn't have the ringcraft to escape, and a good left hook to the jaw puts her down, the girl struggling to her feet at 7, able to get to the centre of the ring for a while, although Nikki has her on the ropes again by the bell.

Nikki takes that round too.

Round 4

Hannah is looking a little bruised around the cheeks now, but Nikki starts the round working to her body again, getting in close, with the younger girl just having to take her punishment, doing her best to clinch and spoil. Nikki is becoming frustrated by the younger girl's tactics, but must take care to remain cool, keep weakening Hannah to the body. Hannah is almost wrestling Nikki as she traps her arms, with the referee having to break the girls again and again, with Nikki having to wait til the closing seconds before she gets a couple of clear shots at the gir's head.

Round 5

Nikki changes her approach again - the girl's clever - bopping Hannah's face with a few neat jabs as she stands off her a little more, not allowing those spoiling tactics any more, and Hannah's not doing too well at avoiding her attacks. Retreating to the ropes, Hannah gets picked off with Nikki's jabs again, then has to take a battering to her ribcage, her arms dropping so that Nikki can send two, three right hooks to the jaw, putting the youngster on the canvas - Hannah's had enough, and she doesn't try to beat the count.

Nikki is typically cocky post-fighttelling Christine Bleakley (still deputising for Denise van Outen) "Silly girl wound me up! She's a better fighter than her sister, but she lacks heart, and I expect to see her pick up a few more beatings!"
