ALESHA DIXON IN THE U.S.

Alesha now takes on a pretty blonde actress her next contest, and the tall Australian is very keen to get stuck into the gorgeous singer, confident she can stop the girl.

Alesha has trained hard for this fight - she knows Abbie is durable, and that she may need to go ten rounds again, but that won't do her any harm - as long as she wins!

When the girls enter the ring, Alesha has reverted to a black one-piece outfit, with Abbie opting for a dark blue bikini. Both girls have opted to wear their hair loose.

Round 1

Alesha starts quickly against the young actress, surprising her with the speed and power of her leading left jab, which lands fairly frequently around the Aussie's mouth throughout the round. Cornish appears to be taking her time, fathoming out her opponent, maybe trying to spot her weaknesses to punish her later.

That's Alesha's round, with Abbie prepared to sacrifice it.

Round 2

Quickly out of her corner, Alesha again attacks Abbie with her busy left jab, pleased with her efforts as she bumps the pretty blonde's face around, smacking two or three clipping rights in there too, putting the actress on the back foot all the while, reddening her skin. But Alesha needs to be careful, because Abbie is no mug, and is taller than she is, so, when the Brit over extends herself, she takes full advantage, popping Dixon's head with a couple of good hits, then hooking her to the ribs she has her hurt, knows it, and catches her across the jaw with a booming left hook, not the hardest punch ever, but enough to send a wide-eyed Alesha to the canvas. The singer is on her feet at 5, comes looking for Abbie, but gets caught again late on.

Round 3

Lectured between rounds by her corner, Alesha has lost her cool here, and she's almost chasing after Abbie, wanting to pin the girl to the ropes, but she's just too loose, and the blonde is finding it easy to punish her, knocking her face around with punches from both hands. As the round progresses, Dixon begins to slow down, trying to seek out Cornish with more measured jabs, connecting with a few, but she then takes a god punch to the liver which has her quaking at the bell.

Round 4

Gaining in confidence, Abbie now feels she can seek out Alesha, and she's the girl moving forwards in the opening moments, rapping the Brit with her jab, looking to follow up with her right, but she gets caught on the counter this time, with the speedy Dixon using her dancig skills to prance around her, firing good shots into her face all the while, making the blonde look poor. There are some tough moments for Abbie in the second part of the round, with Dixon finding her range again, landing good blows to the Aussie's body, hurting her around the tits and ribs.

Round 5

Now Alesha is boxing properly again, and Abbie is being cuffed pretty hard to her face, covers up, then takes punishment to the body, ribs and flanks getting a pounding, the tall blonde needing to hang on to the singer, try to stop this onslaught. The referee does well to break the girls time and again, with Abbie looking tired, bruised and second best the longer this goes on, and by the bell she's just cowering on the ropes, tears in her eyes as Alesha nails her with shot after shot, not wasting any effort as she batters the actress.

Round 6

Only one of these girls seems to want this fight now, and that's Alesha Dixon, who has Abbie bruised and bloodied, the actress an easy target to hit as she leans back on the ropes, almost inviting the Brit to finish the job, so Alesha lands a good left hook then a right hook to the blonde's mouth and ear respectively, sending her to the canvas. Moving slowly, Abbie regains her feet, but she's in no position to defend herself, and referee does not hesitate to escort her back to the safety of her corner. After her latest win, a beaming Alesha Dixon is keen to grab the ringside interviewers microphone to iss this challenge, "I hope Serinda Swan watches this - she's next on my list, and I'm ready for her!"
