Before: Cuthbert riding high on the heels of her Dani Dismantling and why not? Great come from behind win has Elisha poised to build some heat, “I krushed Dani Fishel head to head,” brags Elisha in preflight, “what do you think’s gonna happen when I tuck into neve? Campbell just has to understand one thing about us: I’m better. When she gets that, everything’s going to be fine.” Neve pursing her lips, crossing her arms--not a lot of respect for the feisty little Krusher. “Elisha’s just like all the rest,” shrugs Neve. “McCarthy, Daniel, Cuthbert--I’d like to line ‘em all up and retire ‘em one by one. Everyone’s fawning over Elisha right now because she got to Dani. All I saw was a cocky, overconfident Dani give away a fight-- didn’t see any great blonde Hoppe banging out any miracles.” Neve in cerulean blue bikini, Elisha in white bikini--tense star down as girls get nose to nose as crowd oohs in anticipation.

During R1: Boxing first minute; Cuthbert getting the better of it with a bust jab, moving the punch from body to head, stepping lively to spots and walking Neve into the right cross. Fight settles down shoulder to shoulder--basically a stalemate, Both girls nice and tonight, right hands at cheeks, lefts across bellies, leaning in with each other, looking to snatch and swat compact hooks and rights on the inside.

R2: Girls open with boxing again--again ‘Lishy surprises the dancer with a punishing jab, good ring generalship, 30 second mark, Lishy stepping left around a brace of belly jabs, twists into a clanging right that POUNDS off Neve’s left eye, rocking her head back. Campbell momentarily stunned, stepping in fence post holes, ear-muffing up--Elisha hops in all grins and GETS CHEWED UP! Neve standing string, halts Cuthbert’s advance with a rough shoulder in the chest, hooks her midriff, hooks her face, turns into a clouting right off the face--’Lishy getting hammered, bravely trying to muscle her way through it. Gorgeous slamming stuff from Neve--abrupt punching tearing at Elisha and hurting her. Campbell easing to her left in pivots, grimly working the body, then the head--crisp, compact power punches, Down the stretch, Neve bends into a short right off the face, stacking power punches. Down the stretch, Neve bends into a short right off the face, stacking ‘Lishy up--Neve pops out of the crouch a zesty hook on the temple, undoing ‘Lishy’s legs, then a gorgeous series of gut wrenching hooks thumps home to Cuthbert’s liver and rightside ribs--CUTHBERT TAKES A KNEE! ‘Lisha squeezing out tears hugging a mugged ribcage--she beats the count all a-swoon as Neve gets to her Eliza-style.

R3: Nev finally establishes herself outside, jabbing back Elisha;s drowsy face, going to the body with lancing straight rights, looking to mop up hooks as Cuthbert fades back. Second minute--Neve’s hammered Elisha ropeside, just digging in at close quarters. Elisha standing string, dukes up, hunched forward--she’s not liking it to the body as Campbell goes there with biting lefts and rights, but she’s taking it well, Campbell just going through the check list--nice, tight slices at the waist, extend the left elbow to nudge ‘Lisha back, look to her jugs with snapping punches. Final minute, Neve makes a statement, systematically pounding away on Cuthbert’s hulking melons--poor ‘Lisha stands in, teeth bared, face tight with pain as Campbell romps--blonde can’t stop it, has to take to the bell. Neve bodies up and forces eye contact--Elisha’s eyes shiny with hurt, glaring with hate as the ref breaks em up.

R4: Cuthbert really impressing on the outsider in the first minute, She lacks the long graceful lines of a Theron, doesn’t have the sneaky speed of a Daniel, but she’s got a nice workmanlike stick ramming away tonight, she’s taking smart little steps and sliding her feet, keeping her punching balance. Neve dipping and weaving jabs, but she’s getting nailed right hands as Cuthbert finds openings--blonde hurts brunette once again, rubbering up Neve’s legs for a moment in early action. Campbell takes over on the inside however, backing Cuthbert up with a fusillade of jagged, pumping lefts and rights--brunette determined to cause blonde collapse with a pointed attack on the midriff. Once again,, ‘Lisha stiff-legged, sagging against the ropes, dukes rigid at her eyebrows--Neve going brawny, propping her with shoulders and forearms, twisting side to side to strap home the hurt and those JUGS! Campbell never better to an opponent’s breasts, just torquing in tight lefts and rights across the cleavage, sending tremors down Elisha’s juicy frame, Tough to score--Cuthbert with that gaudy power shot early, Neve with consistent punishment and draining body attack the rest of the way.

R5: Role reversal--Neve outboxes Cuthbert on the outside in the first minute, Cuthbert has her way on the inside over the last couple. Elisha crunching into her girl with a short, pulverizing right, setting low, then jerking up with the left uppercut, taking Neve in the tits or lifting up her chin--Campbell’s giving ground. Neve also suffering along the ropes as Elisha fights off her chest--blonde grinding her forehead into brunette, pushing and palming at her, then shoving home the leather downstairs. Aggressive Cuthbert warned for straying low--not intentional, but ‘Lisha’s head down and she’s none too discriminating about where the punches are landing.

R6: Shutout Cuthbert. Several scorching right crosses land from outside early--unsettling Neve’s legs--Cuthbert’s able to come in strong, walk Campbell to ropes and work her over. Good bashing fare: Neve with the left at her gut, right at her cheek, trying to slip and roll, trying to tie up--Cuthbert keeping her hands free, staying low, punching up into Neve’s lungs, or driving down into the offending body--constant, serious thump age, Neve wincing, complaining of kidney punches as Cuthbert right hands stray past Neve’s left hip--it’s getting rough in there, but Elisha just keeps pitchin’.

R7: Cuthbert proving the Fishel win no fluke--she bloodies Neve’s nose with steady jabs in the first minute--greases inside with heartless right hands, just carrying the blows into Campbell’s gut and bodying up to smother the receipt, Neve walked to the ropes and worked on again and it’s adding up--Campbell slowing, reacting poorly to punches, not answering back--Elisha’s constant punching have a numbing effect on the classy brunette. Elisha keeping her weight forward, sometimes falling into Neve after punching, but keeping the brunette in front of her, shouldering and jostling her, then pouring it on, End of the second minute, Campbell watery-eyed as she sinks slowly to one knee, badly beat up to the body. Cuthbert steps back red-faced from her efforts and HOOTS with glee--great moments as eyes lock, the sheer shame and pain on Neve’s face as ballet dancer is forced to the canvas from raucous blonde body punches.

R8: NEVE BATTLES BACK! Girls trade reckless rights and lefts from outside--Campbell beating Elisha to punches and a final brunette hook on the chin swivels Cuthbert’s head, buckles her knees! Cuthbert scattered to the ropes all staring and hurt--Campbell drives in hard with her shoulder eases out and starts BRINGING it with both hands! Murderous work--Neve clenching her teeth, forehead on ‘Lisha’s shoulder as hands tear away to the ribs and body. Now ‘Lisha’s trunks are checked, her kidney’s bruised, not to mention the scrounging rampage amidships--it’s just one girl trying to heap as much punishment as possible on another in the time allotted, Cuthbert rag dolled up against the ropes and soaking up an unholy beat down, but legs hold firm, blonde won’t go down and by the bell--Neve’s chest is HEAVING with oxygen debt.

R9:  CUTHBERT! Elisha roars back--pounding Neve’s left eye shut with the heartless blend of jabs and stinging right hands, then girls migrate inside as they have all night long. HAMMER AND TONGS in the trenches, girls grimly digging in, shouldering up and trading. Both get uippercuts late, glorying in the moment when the opponent’s head snaps back and she’s forced to take a breath. Crowd groaning as boith women get insane leverage on gutshocking hooks, taking turns crumpling each other midring. Bell sounds, girls till mindlessly chewing at each other--ref breaks ‘em up and sends ‘em shabby to respective corners.

R10: Close fight, girls ramshackle, drawing on last reserves. First minite boxing--Neve outmaneuvering ‘Lishy, jabbing her face and finally dropping some slanting right hands that have Cuthbert crouching and pausing early. Fight drifts inside, girls crawl back into one another’s trunks and this thing wanders to the ropes with that same busy, mouth-on-shoulder look it’s had all night. No doubt about it: Cuthbert’s the stronger lass late. it’s blonde on brunette at the ropes, blonde forcing the pace, making brunette fight for her life. Cuthbert’s punching very crisp, compact and brutal--she’s clouting Neve about the temples, digging out her ribcage, lifting her chin--tight squirmy punches from the blonde as she outworks Campbell to the finish line. Comes back UD10 Elisha Cuthbert.

After: Cuthbert beside herself--another huge effort, back to back big wins over tough bantams--she gets hoisted high on Janet Jones’ shoulders for an impromptu parade. Neve classy enough to address the cameras, left eye closed, well worn after a tough, tough dime. “I was rusty, no doubt about it. I let her outwork me I the middle rounds--other than that it was nip and tuck. Hey it was quality rounds, I feel sharp, we put on a good show and Elisha did well. She’s been more active than me lately and it showed, that’s all. We’ll dance again,” Stats freaks noting that of the first 10 minutes of each round, primarily boxing round--Cuthbert won 6, while of the 20 inside grinding, the girls were 10/10, “Elisha won this fight on the outside,” says one beaming BLONDE! Staffer, “and that’s a big improvement. Nobody thought this kid could pick up Janet’s teachings, but it’s working--first Dani, now Neve. And her body’s holding up--both Fishel and Campbell put Cuthbert through hell, but they couldn’t break her. The Dushku nightmare’s a distant memory.” Add the Cuoco win to the mix and it’s a shame Cuthbert came up flat against Eliza--this is a pretty good run the kid is on, but she probably can’t cash in near term as long as the Sheriff rules the roost.
