Before: “When I’m on,” boasts Alba in preflight, “I don’t just beat girls like Tiffany, I TORTURE them, You know how a cat will play with a wounded bird? That’s what I can do with Thiessen. That’s why my fans buy tickets to see me--they know on any given night I can put a beating of the year on a girl and they don’t want to miss it.” Tiffany non plussed at the bravado. “Jessica’s a good fighter, but she’s chinny, she’s got a suspect heart and I don’t think she’s a tough-minded competitor. don’t judge this fight by what you see in the first three rounds--I expect Alba to start strong, but at the end, it’ll be mopping up big.” Good style contrast--long lean lanky body versus feisty and determined pressure fighter with an astonishing pair of knockers. Thiessen in heroic white sports bra, pale blue bikini bottoms, white shoes, ponytail--Alba in tight red crop top, scoop front, clingy sleeves to the elbow, bare midriff, black bikini cut dance trunks, black shoes.

During R1: Alba dictating--she’s the faster, more aggressive vixen, slashing in and out on a defensive-minded Thiessen, Jess leggy to her left, lifting the jab off her hip, patting Tiff down, then bending into slinging right hands over the top, Thiessen doing a nice job slipping down under the humming right cross, but she’s not punching back--Alba takes advantage. Jess starts deliberately swishing the right hand, putting her weight on the front foot--Thiessen crouches forward and she’s right there for Alba’s jagged left uppercut. Jess picking Tiff up tuff in the jugs and face--Thiessen stoic as she soaks up the big shots between her mitts, but a late uppercut on the chin has the shorter woman stammering back on her heels, Fine clean-up by Alba as she steps-to Thiessen at the ropes, guards up on her, then dips and rips tight uppercuts to the body with both mitts to the bell. Thiessen glum, face gray from punishment--Alba starting strong as promised.

R2: Tiff’s got to open up an d she knows it--real back and forth develops as Thiessen tries to hit the openings. Alba basically using her jab to set up right hands over the top, then tidying up with a short, savage left uppercut. Thiessen timing the right hand, rolling under it while keeping her guard together to absorb Alba’s rising left, then hooking back as quick as she can out of the crouch--both girls get chummy with one another’s chins as each tries to exploit the other’s tendencies. Final minute--Jessica adjusts, stepping right, batting a wide hook to the guard and ROCKETING a slanting right around Tiff’s left wrist. THIESSEN’S ROCKED! Jaw-clapped, Tiff steps in fence post holes, trying to shake it off, Alba hops forward with her left hand at her thigh, left shoulder pointed at Tiffany--hops, hops and WALLOPS that right hand flat to the jaw again, twisting long torso into supple crack. DOWN GOES THIESSEN! Poor Tiff caught flush as she’s staggering backward--she hits canvas with a crash at the ropes and this one’s OVER! Devastating KO2 Jessica Alba.

After: Tuff Tiffany T a long time coming around--curvy pug had exactly the right idea, but doesn’t stick around long enough to see it through. Alba struuuutting. Hands held high, beaming smile--exactly the kind of gaudy performance that can get the sleek brunette noticed again. “She’s lucky,” says a gracious Jessica in post fight, “It was just going to get worse for her--I was digging into that fat body of hers, jugs were next on the list--going out to my right hand is the best thing she could have done.” Pretty impressive--Alba’s chin doesn’t have to be robust if she can get lanky whip on girls like this.
