Before: Wilson/Crawford hostilities go back to Cindy’s attempt to have wrestling stars banned from the FCBA--Torrie getting around the stonewall with a couple of playboy covers, but hard feelings still remain. Not made any easier for Cindy as she sees Torrie’s growing popularity at the pre fight venues--blonde tirelessly signing autographs, friendly to the kids--Crawford made to look cold and unapproachable behind a phalanx of security and PR gurus. “Cindy’s always thought  she’s better than me because she’s a so-called supermodel,” Torrie explains. “When you think about it--what’s her talent? Why is she so high and mighty? I work hard, I look good, and I earned this championship when a lot of people said there was no way I could compete in this league. God will, I’ll knock Cindy out, roll her over and pin her for my fans--they deserve it almost as much as she does!”
Crawford issuing a prepared statement--too dry and legalistic to recount here, interesting match up on paper--aging Cindy relying more and more on the KO to preserve her legs--Wilson youthful, durable and strong--and maybe under-rated in the skill department. Torrie in black bikini, Cindy in scarlet.

During R1: Girls flat footed, probing at midring, Cindy right hand high, thrusting the jab to Torrie’s chest, then bending down, easing back into position, moving her head. Torrie dukes up at her eyebrows, blocking stick, jamming her own jab back, turning her right ankle over as she greases the right hand, missing over the top early, 30 seconds in, Cindy gets a banging right hand on the chin, ducking down on follow through, rolling back upright to slip the receipts. Midway through, Cindy steps right, jabbing up top, bending into that clanging right and TORRIE’S SHOOK! Cindy bending low, this time easing back out but bringing the hook flush to then chin, then leaning forward again with a torrid right and DOWN GOES TORRIE! Wilson eyes a-bulge, legs stiff, bending she wants to sit up, but she’s stuck half way and it’s OVER! Shattering KO1--Cindy’s third straight!

After” Crawford steamrolling to victory, continues her power punching ways with a meticulous, diamond cutter’s KO over a game, but outgunned blonde tonight. Cindy glowing as she takes captive Torrie for a withering walk of shame--Wilson bawling, titles stripped, super-model strutting it up--it’s all too much. Crawford back on top, arguably the hottest fighter in boxing as she’s been lighting up chins the last few months. “It’s our worst nightmare,” says a BLONDE! Magazine editorial, “Cindy Crawford the boss at 140 again.”
