BEFORE: Brooke staying busy, increasingly anti-Righetti in her public comments...Shields has a lot to say about the welterweight hierarchy: "Amanda gets too much publicity," Brooke says in prefight. "To me - I'm the iconic big-woman in the sport - the strongest, the most beautiful - but for whatever reason, everyone's focussed on that jumped-up lightweight - even when she's not champ! It's frustrating, but I'm not discouraged...I know I'll be champion again someday, and if I have to beat down every Bonzo fighter to do it, well...so be it!" Aisha in under the radar, letting Brooke handle the media chores, but six foot milk-chocolate beauty is an imposing presence during weigh in. "I don't get a lot of calls," Aisha smiles demurely in prefight. "Women don't want to be standing next to this (gestures to self) on the scales, and nobody's anxious to get in a legit six footer who can punch. Brooke's a very confident woman, so I give her credit for stepping up, but I don't see Amanda Righetti any where around here. Brooke doesn't keep her eye on the girl in front of her, she's like to get hurt - nome sayin'?" Brooke in lavender sport top; navy sport bikini bottoms; white gloves; hair loose. Aisha in white sport top; dark green sport bikini bottoms, white gloves; hair in slick low ponytail.

During R1: Brooke jolting Aisha with the first right hand thrown - Tyler nearly sitting down, stumbling into ropes good and buzzed at the open. Brooke stepping-to, setting up big-girl: thick, thumping tic-toc right/lefts brace the Tyler flanks; hooks slam amidships; palm-shoves push Aisha upright and vulnerable for more crashing right hands up top. Tyler sleepy, but surviving - drawing Brooke into brawny clinches, blocking and rolling-torso in the pocket.

R2: Shoe's on the other foot as Aisha sets about methodically hurting Brook. Tyler's eyes narrowed as she steps in the stiff long left jab: Brooke catching face-spank - straightening up out of her crouch where Tyler right hands are locating the Shields chin. Brooke's muscular legs tested throughout the first two minutes as Tyler leans in righty: Aisha bending at the waist, twisting into sleek crosses that have Brook stepping in fence post holes. Brooke showing earmuff late - Aisha takes the opportunity to step in, pop hips-right and CRANK hooks to breadbasket underneath. Tyler generating long-limbed leverage in whacking out the points from Brooke's body. Goes 10-8 without the knockdown - Brooke's curvy legs hold her up, but she's frowning/concerned throughout break.

R3: Brooke chucks in her telephone-pole jab to Aisha's chest, then looks to slop left/rights to the Tyler flanks and arms: classic softening-up tactics from a legendary big-woman. Aisha absorbing, then answering back...Tyler jabbing back up the middle, then fitting jagged uppercuts from either hand in under the shelf of Brookie's breasts. Shields mouthbreathing, backing up midway through...Tyler's winning the battle of wills. Wheels fall off the Shields' applecart in final minute: right hand kisses off her chin, dropping her to her back at ropes for knockdown #1; she beats the count, but follow up barrage of vicious, rangy hooks in behind right elbow sits Brooke in ropes, then drops her to all fours for a thudding second knockdown at bell. Aisha all business back to her corner: she gets her hips and back into shots, look out.

R4,5: Brooke: cranky, scowling/wincing...big woman's hurt in her body. Aisha: glaring, advancing - Tyler aggressive behind her jab - pounding at the Shields rack and pate, poking her ropeside. Set-piece battles emerge - Brook standing strong on apron, hands up...Aisha jabbing body/head - crouching in/leaning away, then bringing right hand heat up top, down into midsection, or looped round the Shields left elbow to slam flank. Brooke grimacing, fighting back in spots: Tyler showing good body strength in tying Brooke up during break-out attempts, hurling Shields back into ropes to continue the shelling.

R6: Girls in gun-platform stances midring - shelling each other jabs/dropping in heavy right-cross chasers. Brook rocks Aisha early with chin-clout - follows up via thudding hooks to breadbasket: Tyler clinching like a pro, preventing the Shields jailbreak. Brooke straining to step Aisha into ropes: Tyler gloms on strong around Brook's elbows, getting ref's break. Stop and go fighting as Brooke stalks wounded Aisha, trying to bring decisive battle; Tyler retreats - ducks-and-rolls herself into clinch position.

R7: Aisha's got herself together - weaving side to side, slipping Shields haymakers and answering back VICIOUS left or right uppercuts to body. First minute sees Brooke devastated as her head-on assaults meet with crippling ripostes to midsection/ribs...she's eventually forced to back it up as Aisha goes over to offence. Tyler patiently stalking, knocking her jab against Brooke's mouth, punching her sleepy. Brooke retreating along apron until Tyler cuts her off, jabs her into ropes...Shields a confused, frustrated beauty as she tries to diagnose the threat. Aisha stooping to reach in body jabs - wide, long-legged stance allowing her to lean in and out...she's got Brooke flinching to the body, worried about the core work, when Aisha launches in over the top righty! CRASHING right hand crushes Brooke to chin - punching the big woman's head-and-torso over top rope on receipt! Brook out on her feet - body limp as it sloshes forward on recoil...Shields swooning to canvas - auguring in knees-first, then spilling to her front...that's KO7 Tyler in monster fashion.

After: Brooke came in the name looking to stay busy, she leaves with all sorts of questions hanging over her career as well-regarded, but relatively unknown Aisha Tyler cashes in. "I lean into girls, they go to sleep," Tyler shrugs in postfight. "It's not bragging...everyone knows me from the gyms, knows what I can do - that's why you don't see me much, because name-girls don't want to get their asses whacked on pay per view. Who do I want to fight? You know - I'm not picky. Moon Bloodgood's kind of come up the same way I did, so that would be a good fight for the fans. Kris Loken - same deal. For me, I'd like to cash in a Tyra Banks cheque, and if Charlize Theron ever gets big again, I'd like the chance to make her regret it. But you know, if the phone rings, I'm saying yes, so it really doesn't matter who the victim, er, I mean OPPONENT - who the opponent is!"
