BEFORE: "I'm looking forward to the challenge," Beth says of long-time brunette stalwart Cook in prefight. "I think things have changed a bit since Rachael was last active in the FCBA, though. I'm not coming in to compete and win a few minutes: I'm the favourite, and I'm going to act like it. It'll be me backing Rachael up - me taking from her...I won't stand for Cook coming in bossy. The way I'm approaching her - it's MY ring: she's the intruder." Cook spirited in rebuttal: "Beth's had a few wins," Rachael concedes at podium, "but it's a bubble performance, and I think we all know that. I've got designs on her ribcage boys, and I think you're going to love what I do there. Beth's going to be sucking wind early, and snoozing late, because I'm going ribcage her all night long!" Black bra-strap style bikini top for Beth; grey/black plaid swimsuit bottoms; white gloves; ponytail with bangs framing face. Rachael in baby blue cashmere top and bottoms (tawdry); powder blue gloves.

R1: Beth flapping out the left as range-finder, stepping in wide to lash sidearm right onto Rachael...blonde girl slugging early. Harnois holding arms akimbo, twisting torso side to side to slop her fists onto Rachael's flanks (elbows out to the sides on contact); drifting Rachael across the chops in rangy side to side action. Cook banging back stout from the pocket - brunette staying compact, taking blows on her flanks, then clubbing at Beth's jaw either hand; pounding Beth brawny right hands below the jugline. Pleasing hammer and tongs both ways, but it's Cook's stubby, well timed clouting that drives Beth ropeside. Harnois baring teeth, still whaling away off the ropes, but Cook's got the rhythm here, beating Beth to tasty wallop at bell.

R2: BOOM! Harnois wading in, looking for a right uppercut from her thigh...Cook times it, steps in close with a sweeping overhand right...crashing blast pounds Beth's face, drops her to her back with a sickening crash! Harnois in shock - both arms stiffly reaching up - her legs stretched straight together, quivering - her face all pinched in KO'd stupor...Ref waves this one off KO2 in devastating fashion.

After: Beth on her back for several minutes...Rachael Leigh glancing over with a mix of delight and concern on her face as Harnois is eventually sat up in stages. "She came in rangy, trying to stroke me out, and I wouldn't have it," Classy Cook explains in postfight. "I took advantage of her lanky delivery - sat in the pocket, picked my spots...it was easy to tag her, and you saw what happened when I got my buns into it: goodnight Beth Harnois!"
