Recently released Cox took her act to the rugged South Beach proving grunds, met eva on larue's home turf and soaked one if thr worst beatingts of her career for her trouble. larue showed crisp, precision skills in jabbing the aggressive Cox to a meek standstill through the first three rounds, then slowly tightened the noose every round thereafter in hounding the battered brunette around the ring. Very thorough, methodical stuff--Larue pressing Cox behind a withering jab; landing crosses to chin and swat-right hands to waist; hooking the Cox rack and body with gusto. Nikki couldn't get her weight forward, couldn't evade Larue's jab and couldn't get off her heels. A single shearing right hand blast to chin would put Cox on her back in the 8th, after the ground had been well-prepared by a very consistent beating, body and head, throughout the night.
