BEFORE:

"Look, I get it," says Vanessa, with a gorgeous smile. "I'm the pretty exotic here to give the number one contender some work. Well, I'm not going to badmouth her. She's good. But so am I. People just don't know it, because I'm a natural bantam and I've had to go in against lights to get fights. Well, tonight's my opportunity to show everyone how good I am, and that's what I'm going to do."

"Vanessa and I have a lot in common, really," Nicole says, with a gorgeous smile of her own. "I was where she is not that long ago. A hot brunette with no management that blondes wanted to sharpen their teeth on, a girl who just needed a break. I hope she gets one. But it's not going to be tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and Vanessa Minnillo making her way down the aisle to 'Run The World' by her favorite singer, Beyonce. Minnillo climbing inside, taking off the robe...and Mac, even YOU have to admit how good she looks in that green, orange, black, and yellow striped number!"

McCarthy: "Again, not bad. Not J-Mac, but not bad..."

O'Dell: "And that's 'Don't Cha' booming from the sound system..."

McCarthy: "And that means it's the Original Dancing Hooker herself...can you BELIEVE she's calling herself the number one contender?"

O'Dell: "Actually, I CAN. She was second in the most recent rankings behind Dushku, and Eliza's lost twice since. Nicole hasn't lost at all in that time..."

McCarthy: Only because she hasn't fought J-Mac during that time..."

O'Dell: "Nicole taking off the robe to reveal a bright blue bikini. Preliminaries being dealt with, and we need a pick, Mac!"

McCarthy: "Oh, Nicole is a huge favorite here. And not because she's any good. This Minnillo kid hasn't won a fight. EVER. This is typical Grand Weirdo match making. Trying to pad this no-talent's record!"

O'Dell: "And we're underway. And look at this! Vanessa right after Nicole! Minnillo straight forward, swinging with both hands. Nicky being forced back, ducking and dodging, clearly surprised by Vanessa's aggressiveness."

McCarthy: "This is actually good stuff from Minnillo. Not wild swings. Good, solid punching. That's got Scherzinger on her heels. Vanessa connecting with both hands!"

O'Dell: "Nicole circling now, jabbing, turning Vanessa, stablizing this thing. Using those quick hands and feet. Minnillo still letting the hands go, but she's not landing now. Nicole slipping and dipping, making Vanessa miss, countering with quick jabs. Minnillo short with a right hook as Scherzinger leans the head away, counters with two quick left jabs to the face, then circles clear."

McCarthy: "Vanessa's getting preempted now. Nicole's getting off first. Minnillo's just a half second too slow."

O'Dell: "And it might as well be an hour. Nicole sticking that left. Doubles. Triples. Shakes. Bakes. Lands the right. And there's the bell ending round one, and I think that one belongs to Scherzinger."

McCarthy: "Agreed. Vanessa had control early, but Nicole scored enough the rest of the way to take the round."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Round two underway, and here we go again, Mac! Minnillo charging Nicole, swinging with both hands, driving Scherzinger back, OH! Right hand caught Scherzinger. Nicole stumbles...LEFT HOOK AND DOWN SHE GOES!"

McCarthy: "DANCING HOOKER DOWN! DANCING HOOKER DOWN!"

O'Dell: "Nicole up to her knees. Getting up at seven. Referee gives her the count and on comes Vanessa, banging away with rights and lefts to the body, forcing Nicole back to the ropes. Scherzinger with the guard up, wobbly. Vanessa hammering away, banging at Nicole's flanks, slamming hooks into her gloves, bangs a straight right between the gloves to snap back Nicole's head. Scherzinger tying up...now slips away to the left."

McCarthy: "Vanessa in hot pursuit. Staying in control, jabbing Nicole back to the ropes, going downstairs with hooks to the ribs. Laying a methodical beating on her!"

O'Dell: "Nicole ducks a right, slips away to her left. Snaps out a couple of jabs, circles away. Vanessa lands a left, Nicole ducks under a right, ties up. Referee break. Vanessa with a right hook to the body, letting the hands go. Missing as much as she's landing, but she's landing plenty. Nicole pops a jab, ducks under a left hook, ties up again, trying to run clock here."

McCarthy: "Minnillo hooking to the body. Good stuff. Getting some space. Shoving Scherzinger off. There's the bell. Big round Minnillo!"

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Getting ready for round three now, and Vanessa again forward. Nicole circles quickly, popping that jab. Vanessa not getting off here. Nicky quick. Precise. Sticks a left to the chin, snappy hook to the ribs, scrubs the top of the head with a straight left, circles, slips a slow right from Vanessa, double-pumps the left jab into the face..."

McCarthy: "Minnillo looks punched out. Used up a ton of energy in that last round..."

O'Dell: "Nicole feints with a left, bangs a right to the side of the head, lands a left-right to the rack. Vanessa backing up, covering up. Nicole picking her apart from the outside. Sharp shooting a left hook behind the right ear, a right cross under the left ear. Minnillo flicks out a left jab that Nicole easily dodges. Scherzinger with a three-punch combination to the face that buffets Vanessa's head side to side. Minnillo stumbles backward...Nicole sticks a right hand lead, bangs a left hook to the ribs, pops a pair of jabs to the head, right hook, straight left, right cross! DOWN GOES VANESSA! Flat to her back!"

McCarthy: "Minnillo shaking her head. Rolling to her knees. Going to beat the count."

O'Dell: "Referee waives Nicole forward, and she's right back to work, jabbing Vanessa to the ropes, banging a right hook to the kidney, then CHANNELLING RAY LEONARD...LOOSING THE HANDS, ONE PUNCH AFTER ANOTHER ROCKING VANESSA'S HEAD...SIX...EIGHT...TEN...A DOZEN...AND THE REF STEPS IN! IT'S OVER! THE WINNER BY TKO3, NICOLE SCHERZINGER!"

McCarthy: "Ummm..."

O'Dell: "Now THAT's a first! A speechless J-MAC! And Wiz is getting into the ring here..."

McCarthy: "Get him OUT of there!"

O'Dell: "Slaps five with Nicole, heads over to Minnillo's corner..."

McCarthy: "Leave the kid alone! No need to gloat!"

O'Dell: "Actually, looks like he's checking on her. He is. Waives Nicky over and we're going to get a hug between the two fighters here. No hard feelings on either side. Wiz slaps Vanessa five and heads back to his box..."

McCarthy: "He ought to be in a padded CELL! Or a regular one!"

AFTER:

McCarthy(disgustedly): "Let's go to the ring where Jenny has the Dancing Hooker..."

O'Dell: "Nicole, impressive performance coming off the deck to win like that, but Vanessa gave you some trouble for awhile..."

Nicole: "I said before the fight that she just needs a break. She went all out to get it tonight. I was too good, but a lot of girls in the division wouldn't have been. They'd have gotten stopped in that second round and Vanessa's upset would be the story of the night."

O'Dell(smiling): "When are you going to get a title shot?"

Nicole: "Good question. Really good question."
