BBU Domestic Fight

This will be an interesting debut at bantamweight for 22 year old rap artist Tulisa against the experienced Nicola, who enjoys working over younger girls, the added interest here being that the young blonde has replaced Nicola's former bandmate Cheryl Cole as a judge on UK TVs X Factor show.

Tulisa is first in the ring, stunning in a pale blue leotard, quickly joined by Nicola in a black bikini. Blonde Tulisa is a little taller then redhead Nicola, and looks keen to get started.

Round 1

And Tulisa is keen, starting the fight really quickly and pumping jabs into Nicola's face from the first few seconds, shocking the older singer, who defends well, covering up. Tulisa shows her inexperience, gets in too tight too Nicola, and the older girl rips shots into her body, working her gradually to the ropes, wanting to beat her flanks over, only to get turned and cuffed to the face once again, as the kid shows she can box.

Round 2

Tulisa showed in the first that she can box, but she needs to cover up real early this time as Nicola takes the fight to her, landing some neat cuffing blows to the blonde's midsection, but then needing to defend again herself as the youngster clips her face with that sweet left jab. Nicola is having to backpedal as the round enters the latter stages, with Tulisa's jabs beginning to make her look shabby, and her attempts to rough the kid up at close quarters are too crude to succeed. Nicola does manage to crack a left hook into Tulisa's cheek late in the round, but that's not enough!

Round 3

Nicola feels that she hurt Tulisa there, and she comes out eager in the third - maybe she's right, because the younger girl is quite clearly keeping out of range, energetically skipping around the ring. It's late in the round again when Nicola catches up with Tulisa, but when she does, she lands her short-armed hooks in the girl's face pretty easily, the kid no longer seeming to find it easy to escape, and Nicola hurts her for the first time with a heavy right to the gut.

Round 4

Now Nicola is beginning to stamp her aurority on ths fight, and she's starting to walk Tulisa around the ring, very much making the kid look like the novice she is, buffeting her ribs and flanks seemingly at will. But Tulisa isn't letting her gloves drop, and she does well to fight back in the second half of the round, even landing a solid right hook to Nicola's ear to follow a little series of left jabs, hard enough to stop the older singer in her tracks, and, when she hesitates, she gets cuffed by another, and Roberts is in distress at the bell.

Round 5

A red-faced and irritated Nicola comes looking for young Tulisa from the bell in 5, but when she finds her, she quickly feels sorry, as the younger girl slips a couple of really sharp left jabs into her face. Backing of, Nicola is followed to the ropes, where Tulisa bumps her around the cheeks with left and right hand punches, gaining confidence. Nicola uses her experience, though, and when Tulisa gets in closer to try for a the big right hand, she turns the girl, pushes her against the ropes, and pummels her body, the blonde doubled over by the bell.

Round 6

Tulisa is on the defence from the bell as Nicola is once again moving her around the ring, constantly looking to rap those punches into the younger girl's body, and the redhead just about traps her midway through the round, neatly bopping her ribs and flanks. She doesn't really hurt the blonde, though, and, snapping Nicola's head back sharply with neat left jabs, Tulisa is off the ropes, not exactly turning Nicola, but certainly getting through with enough punches to have her moving awkwardly, and it's Nicola who is covering up on the ropes at the end of the round.

Round 7

Now Nicola increases her hand speed, moving more fluently, too, as she takes the fight to Tulisa, moving the attack from the girl's body to her face, those short-arm hooks of hers leaving their mark. But Tulisa isn't fazed, and she counter punches aggressively, her left jabs now really spanking through Nicola's gloves to find their target, and she connects with a right hook just past the midpoint of the round that has Nicola's legs wobbling. Tulisa has the redhead hurt, and she pours forwards, Nicola's gloves flapping around as the kid thumps her face good and hard, putting her on her back with a solid straight right. Lucky Nicola is saved by the bell, which rings as she rises on 8.

Round 8

It really doesn't look like Nicola has recovered from that knockdown, and she's very slow to emerge from her stool. Maybe she's had enough of Tulisa tonight - she has now - Tulisa crunches a right hook into the redhead's jaw and there's no need to count her out - she's gone!
