BBU International Fight

Debutante Jodi, another in the long line of BBU former Hollyoaks actresses, fights the ring rusty Devon in this bantamweight matchup. Jodi is now part of a girlband, and will be looking to this as a step up towards fighting singers from Girls Aloud and The Saturdays, as well as her former Hollyoaks colleagues. There is already some ill feeling towards her in BBU for blagging this international fight before serving her time on the regular BBU circuit. None of this is Devon's problem, and the American is looking to use BBU fights as her way back into FCBA.

Jodi wears a dark blue bikini for this contest, while Devon is wearing a silver one piece outfirt.

Round 1

The girls are circling each other early on, each of them flicking out speculative jabs, but neither showing too much commitment, wary of each other. Convincing herself that Jodi may not have much to offer, it's Devon who gets the fight going, drilling two good left hand punches into the Brit's body, then wiping her left into the girl's jaw. Jodi backs off, lets Devon come to her, then counter punches neatly, jolting the girl's head back with stiff jabs, keeping her follow up punches back at this stage, content to bob and weave.

An even first round

Round 2

As before, the girls circle each other at first, but this time it's Jodi who attacks, landing nicely again to Devon's face with her left jab, setting the girl back a little, making her back up towards the ropes. Devon's waiting her chance, gets Jodi moving in on her, then, when the Brit looks to land her right glove, she's in, quicker than Jodi, smacking two, three good shots into the girl's face, turning her around to the ropes herself, and landing again. Jodi covers up well, but when she tries her own counter attack, she's caught cold, walks into a peach of a left hook, and gets sent to the canvas, taking a 6 count on her butt, and seeing the round out on the ropes, getting hit to the body.

Round 3

Devon's frisky and energetic immediately, cuffing Jodi to the face with her left and her right, the speed of her punches keeping the Brit on the back foot and defending, covering up at first, then clinching and holding when Devon gets inside. As the round wears on, Jodi realises she can hit Devon to the body when they clinch, the girl not defending herself soundly, and she gets into her pretty heavily by the bell, working her to the ribs and belly, weakening her and slowing her down.

Round 4

Jodi seems more confident now, and she is quick to fire punches into Devon's slim body, her gloves smacking into the girl's ribs and flanks as she moves her around the ring. The little smile that Devon had in round 2 has disappeared now, replaced by a look of pain, as she gets her ribcage worked over by the Brit. Once she has her girl softened up, Jodi switches her attack, popping a few jabs into Devon's face, following up with a couple of rights to the belly, then the face again, and by the bell the American is weeping and in trouble.

Round 5

Jodi hurts Devon early in the round with two heavy shots to her flanks, then jabs her face quite ruthlessly, coonects with her right hook to the girl's ear, and that puts her down, Devon scrambling to her feet at 7, her legs still a little wobbly. In comes Jodi again, landing cruelly to Devon's ribs again, she then jabs her face, knocking the girl to the ropes, then has her sinking to her knees after landing a sickening right to her belly. Again Devon rises at 7, with Jodi moving in once more, looking to knock her out, but this time the American manages to hold onto the advancing Brit, frustrating her to the bell.

Round 6

Devon is a brave girl, and she drags herself up once more, only to be met by a big left hook to her aching ribs which has her knees buckling, then Jodi's follow up right, left, right to the head has her down once more. Still Devon won't stay down, hauling herself up at 8, but the referee won't let her take any more, and he waves Jodi away.

That was a good workout for Jodi, but disappointing for Devon, who won't be getting an FCBA comeback fight any time soon after that performance.
