Before: Let’s see--Messing is a by the book , straight punching, step and jab boxer--could there be a more tailor-made opponent for the hard-hitting brawling blonde? Fought at co main of Marceau/Aniston in St. Tropez--GLN a huge name in EUROPE is the crowd favourite by a long shot. GLN in yellow bikini, black mesh to a high neck. Messing in red and black bandeau bikini, curly hair back.

R1: don’t blink. After an exhausting 20 minute entrance complete with male exotic dancers and a tortuous dance sequence from Nolin leaves messing bone dry in the ring, the girls finally get it on. GLN on te attack from the opening moments sweeps wide lefts and rights hard to waist to back Messing up--Debra holding her gloves at her cheeks and letting Nolin punch her around the ring doesn’t seem to want to mix it up. Final minute--Messing chopping out a serviceable jab from the elbow, but Nolin promptly answers with looping right hands, leaping fearlessly with the bombs and she catches Messing stepping back with a hard blow to the top of the head. Messing goes crazy legged--sprawling to the ropes wide-eyed, and GLN moves in--a hard wide left to the trunkline, a singing right hand on the mouth and Messing collapses, folding forward to the canvas as Nolin mercifully  misses the follow up left hand. KO1 Gena Lee.

After: messing comes to, and is no sooner brought around than she is gathered up and forced to take a walk of shame around the ring as GLN displays Messing to an appreciative audience. Former model Debra doesn’t protest, woozily stumbling along compliant with Gena’s arm around her waist--unscathed Nolin lapping up the crowd’s adulation.
