Before: Spears shouldering considerable pressure in this rematch. Outworked, outhustled and beat up down the stretch in the last fight, blonde has said all along she lost the fight more than Tiffani won it. Time to prove it. Thiessen basking in her new found success - she doesn't have media parity in pre-fight, but she's getting her fair share of exposure as the latest in a long line of Spears Spoilers. "I've got Britney right where I want her," crows Tiff. "She needs to be aggressive, can't afford to hang back and that's going to kill her. Her only chance was to run and get a bogus decision - now that she can't afford to do that, she'll have to come to me. We already know what's going to happen when she and I get down and dirty. She gets hurt." Spears in pale pink push up, black boy cut velvet trunks, hair up, Tiff in white push up, pale blue boy cut trunks.

R1: Spears boxing early, cuffing and turning Thiessen, outclassing her when a slamming TAT right on the ear puts Britney wobbly butt mid round. Spears pouting in shock, gloves up at her temples - Tiffani harvests belly with shoulder-rolling ferocity, putting tanned blonde back on the ropes. Hard working shoving and slugging as Tiff salts away the round, she bludgeons Britney into stupor to send a message in the first.

R2: Spears retreating in good order, supple on flat feet as she steps and she walks Tiff into a blistering counter right hand early on. Thiessen stutter stepping, trying to regain her balance - Britney stays composed, jabbing head and chest, fitting the chin for more robust right hands. Thiessen showing a good chin, soaks it up, gets square to the target - final minute a blistering exchange of mouth on shoulder slogging. Girls taking turns, hup-hup-hupping away on the inside past the bell - ref has to peel 'em apart and enforce the break.

R3: Tiffany clanging away with right hands over Spears jab, jumping in the swinging hook to the tits - blonde on her heels, teeth bared as Tiff brings the fight to her. Brunette banging her girl to the ropes, Britney digging in, she's shoulder to shoulder with Tiff, right where Thiessen wants her. Grinding work, both girls huddled up against one another, taking turns twisting into tight shots out of compact guards. A hard hearted snatching at one another's breasts in tight - greedy hooks following through with scraping elbows.  More punching after the bell and a late hook on the chin sits Brit dazed in the ropes as the ref jumps in again.

R4: Spears smartens up, gets classy. She's stepping back and around her foe, not hurried or running, just keeping her distance.  She’s letting Tiff taste the jab and sudden, straight right hand leads. Thiessen unhurt, but unable to bring her guns to bear - she's walking forward behind a high guard, blocking shots, not getting off as blonde commands the ring.

R5,6,7: Britney exerting control, imposing her will, her style on this bout. Tiff trying to edge in close and bang the body - Britney won't let her. Spears fighting brilliantly in retreat, turning at the ropes, keeping her back off the strands - she's potshotting Tiff with clean hesitation right hands, snappy jabs and clipping check hooks. Thiessen lumping up, but taking a good shot - she's unhurt, but getting out boxed minute after minute. 7th a sobering shutout for blonde over brunette - Spears setting down on right hands and getting good pop on Tiff's jaw, circling away as Thiessen wobbles slightly out over her feet.

R8: Spears upping the tempo - she's been chipping away at Thiessen all night, steadily, patiently breaking her down - now she's going for it. Piping hot hooks savage the Thiessen gut - brunette tilted forward, frozen as Spears reaches in and takes what's hers. Brit able to lean back, pivot away from the receipts - Tiff's looking shopworn, not pulling the trigger at the right times. Spears is wheeling left, digging to the body, bending into jolting rights off the face - Thiessen trudging into damage and getting increasingly ragged. Banging combination of lefts and rights off the skull and jaw has Tiff's hands down, feet tottering back on her heels - Britney bodies her foe to the ropes and piles on. Hungry punching from Spears as she leans her chin over Tiff's shoulder - torso twisting back and forth, punches short, all legs and body as Thiessen's tummy and tits take a drubbing. Tiff looking to clinch - Britney takes advantage, twisting into tight left and right uppercuts as her girl leans forward and THE REF STEPS IN! Thiessen punched into a blubbering daze - Spears leaping away in exultation. TKO8! Britney Spears.

After: Spears joyous, relieved. "That was definitely a monkey on my back," says the singer, "I absolutely had to win this fight. I love that I stopped her - it just puts an exclamation mark on the whole thing and really puts her in her place. We knew if we stayed patient, fought our fight that Tiffani couldn't compete and that's what happened. I just outperformed her." Thiessen win streak comes to a heartbreaking end, but she's done herself a lot of good in recent weeks. "She's shown she can beat good fighters when they take her for granted," notes one pundit, "that's what you need in a dark horse."
